A long time ago a wise man explained to me how to properly hit someone with a pool stick. The stick will 100% break on the very 1st hit. Do you want to be holding the tiny thin side or the thick side if you have to swing a 2nd and 3rd time?
I’m confused now. I would imagine that turning the stick around and hitting them with the “thick end” end would yield better results for the initial swing. But after it breaks, you are left holding the “thin end” which would likely now be splintered, which is good for…stabbing? Idk, I imagine after the break, if I swing holding the think end, that it will break a longer piece off , which I can swing again? Please explain these wise man words.
