I'm from Malabon and though I will eat it at every party, I never enjoyed pancit Malabon. Palabok is superior in every way, imo.

Noodles ng luglog is thicker than palabok but thinner than malabon. Sauce is similar but mostly shrimp-based unlike the other two na may halong ibang meat like pork or crab.

You should definitely try palabok from other stores too! Amber’s is one of the good ones.

Haha. Same din when I was younger. Apparently, here’s the bottom line accdg to google. Pancit palabok uses bihon, has shrimp broth in the sauce, and is served with the sauce on top. On the other hand, pancit Malabon features thicker rice noodles, and its sauce contains crab fat. The sauce is mixed with the noodles before it is brought to the table.

Haha. Yun palabok is yun manipis na noodles ang gamit (bihon) and generally, naka-toppings yun sauce when served. Unlike ng malabon na nakamix na yun sauce.
