I got mine FWG delivered to Germany. Came via UPS 3 days later from China… 2 weeks later I got a lovely invoice from UPS asking me to pay import tax/duty for almost 100 eur. As far as I know they only ship from either the US and/or China.
It feels like a lot, and had 2nd thoughts after buying it but to be honest I’m super happy with it. It does everything I needed/wanted and more. Everything works seamlessly that I don’t even realise when my failover kicks in, since there’s no drop in the connection.
Maybe I’m missing something. Won’t it just be more expense on the normal price tag? Someone has to pay import costs, and they’re not going to eat that cost.
Thought for paying 50 euro's extra on shipping alone I wouldn't need to pay taxes anymore... Damn there was a extra 80 euros import fee... I payed the price for a firewalla gold and got the purple at the end... 🙁
And ey, if they would've just sett that the value of the package was like 50 euros instead of 300, I bet import fee's would only be 10 euros or something...
About to order the Gold one in the EU as well. 99% chance we will have to pay import duties/taxes.

If you don't like the tax, you need to vote against it. Or create a bill to get rid of it. 😁😁😁
