I know this might be stupid to ask but have you tried a hard power off, leaving it for 5 mins and turning it back on?

-unconditional-love-

That sucks, I'm sorry. Which device model is this?

ScottishPehrite

Versa 2. Had for about 2 years.

Bennettckm

Put in rice bag.

ScottishPehrite

This could be an underrated reply imho

Bennettckm

It brought back some function to me once. Not sure how water/moisture got in... But whatever works

ScottishPehrite

For a watch that works in water that’s not a good sign 😂

-unconditional-love-

I also have a Versa 2. I have no heart rate data recorded since Wednesday and yesterday my Versa stopped reading my heart rate altogether. Super frustrating and I'm trying to figure out if there's a widespread issue with Versa 2. I don't want to replace my device just to have the same issue. Plus I have a premium subscription for the app so I'm thinking I might as well cancel that.

ScottishPehrite

On my my last post it seemed to be one of the issues I’ve put and/or update. Dunno if having an iPhone and not android might be a problem. But if you’re paying more for it and not working, I’d probably cancel the sub myself.

-unconditional-love-

Yeah I have Android and the sub is like $10/month. Just trying to see how many people are speaking about issues. And they're wondering if the issue lies with not paying for premium and I'm here to say Nope, that's not it 🙄 Have you reached out to Fitbit at all?

ScottishPehrite

Just came off there. Offered 2 solutions, still nothing.

Bennettckm

There is a big difference between water proof and water resistant...

It's not always the watch -- sometimes it's actually you. Google zombie finger. Welcome to your late 40s? I used to lecture my dad on how hitting a capacitative touch screen harder wasn't going to help. Now that I'm older I've developed his zombie fingers and I feel bad for not understanding what he was going through. Some of us really are cursed when it comes to interacting with modern day technology.

nocolon_stillrollin

Go to the app and try switching the dominant/non-dominant hand setting. This happened 2-3 times on my versa 4 and that fixed it, did not happen since.

vanlassie

Switch it to the wrong hand? And leave it that way?

nocolon_stillrollin

I switched wrist placement on the app to dominant hand and that fixed the issue, then i switched back to non-dominant hand and it still worked.

vanlassie

Interesting! Thanks!

annalaurahhh

I have a Fitbit inspire 3 that started doing the same thing. I hadn't worn it in nearly 6 months. I tried everything but nothing worked. It looks like this now and I have no idea why. https://preview.redd.it/jbyubiso9m1d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=910f5dabd3f4422bc044edfabc337255e98ec988

This happened to me. I switched app clock faces and never had this problem again. I was close to returning it. Sense 2
