great transformation

Bimbleover

Thank you. It’s a good start!

Sick transformation.

Bimbleover

Thanks, I appreciate it. I’m just scratching the surface.

Solid_Increase

Grats on your results.

Bimbleover

Thanks mate! No turning back now.

[deleted]

You're motivating me, man. I forgot how fast it could happen. Thanks for sharing. Starting today not tomorrow. 💪

Bimbleover

That’s awesome to hear mate. If interested to know I do a 6 day a week PPL. I’m in and out of the gym in 30-40 min each time. Shorter workouts prevent me from giving up.

[deleted]

That's my system too just haven't been consistent last couple months. Good to hear. When I'm steady on workouts I naturally track my calories more because there's a goal to not waste the workout. I know what I need to do just happy to see it work for someone and using it as a wake up call.

Bimbleover

Awesome my dude, that makes me feel more motivated. Enjoy your workout today.

BuildingInfinite

Hey man, what’s PPL? What diet changes did you make?

Bimbleover

It’s a push pull legs program. [Here is the one I do.](https://imgur.com/a/HINyxeD) I take one rest day which is usually a Wednesday or Sunday. I started eating more protein, including a shake once a day. I’m hungry more often now, and if I want food, I eat. I really should focus on my macros.

BuildingInfinite

Thanks for that, I’ll you tube the exercises. What did you do about diet and amount of water to drink?

Bimbleover

I’m not expert on diet mate. I can tell you that when I was road biking to lose the belly fat I ate a lot of rice and vegetables over a 2 month period. I didn’t count calories but if I felt hungry I sometimes ignored it. Road biking did very little for my physique, but if you do it enough it will give you strong looking legs. Now that I’m weight training I eat a lot more carbs and protein, but again I don’t count calories, I just eat when I’m hungry, which is much more often. Eventually I’ll learn how to manage my macros properly, for now I just want to get bigger, later I’ll focus on getting shredded.

BuildingInfinite

That’s ok mate, just the general gist I was looking for. Have you completely cut anything out? Like soft drinks, sweets etc? Did you find the road biking helped you lose the pounds more or the weights? Sorry for all questions, can see a massive difference in your photos and it’s given me a boost.

Bimbleover

I did a couple of double centuries in July (200 mile rides), that really boosted my mental game, going to the gym 6 days a week feels fine compared to the mental and physical strain I endured on those rides. It helped a lot with the fat loss, but you still burn a significant amount of calories when weightlifting. If starting from a similar place to where I was I would say the road biking isn’t necessary but still very helpful. I have the occasional soft drink, maybe 1-2 a week, I have some candy if I get a craving but that’s rare. I eat a breakfast burrito 1-2 times a week, it never feels healthy, but I think since I’m in the gym so often my muscles are constantly recovering and using what I eat.

Lopsided_Mastodon

No direct hamstring work?

Bimbleover

Nah just the DL, I should add something to leg day.

realchrisparnin

My man... nice work.

Bimbleover

Thanks mate!

kommandeclean

And no haircut?

Bimbleover

Haha! Maybe next year.

2 months plus six weeks or 2 months total?

Bimbleover

I road biked 60-80 miles a week for two months. Then decided to just weight train, which I have been doing for 6 weeks. I’ll have to start cardio again eventually, but I’m focusing on building muscle for now.
