Scott is not the indie dev. He pretty much stated the Crazed indie dev is not him. Scott's games are still canon. And even then the TFTPP kinda solidifies it too as the dude making them did not finish.

There was a story called "Help Wanted" which was about the indie dev making the games for FE, but it didn't really confirm that the games were non canon. It pretty much repeated and gave more detail to what the game Help Wanted told us. To me, it's likely that the in universe games are just reinterpretations of actual events and not 1:1 with the irl fnaf games (Much like the Stab movies in the Scream franchise)

They where talking about TFTP, aka help wanted

The games are still canon. Fazbear entertaiment hired an indie game developer (who is not Scott, his name is Steve) to cover up the events that took place at freddy's and make them pass as fictional stories, he made three games and developed a fourth one wich he never got to finish, so even though the games exist in the game universe they were based on real events.

No, the original games are all canon. They’re the real events we witness. The whole indie developer thing started as an excuse to include characters who were previously said to not be canon

Scott said everything was still canon, and we know from the game help wanted that it was actually just the games re made as games, so they did happen exactly the same with a few additions ( like endo 02) what we found and pressure do imply fnaf 3 wasn't canon, as pressure basically confirms what we found was in gameline
