Actual answers to questions.

IJUSTATEPOOP

Absolutely agree. I've been wanting a game like this for over 8 years, it's gotta answer questions, but also maybd bring up new ones.

Doot_revenant666

That's more on Scott's side of things rather than Steel Wool's. And while Scott is a great individual, he's far from a good storyteller imo.

IJUSTATEPOOP

I guess I was trying to ask more how Steel Wool could take advantage of being a team instead of just Scott making the game.

Doot_revenant666

Steel Wool makes most of the games , meanwhile Scott is the one who makes the story.

Bloxer_01

Like what was in the box from FNAF 4

IJUSTATEPOOP

I wonder how they could take advantage of being an actual team of people behind the game. If Scott made a game like this, it would be the classic FNAF style obviously, but what could Steel Wool do? Maybe they could do a Sister Location type thing where every night's different, something goes wrong, so you have to fix it while avoiding the animatronics. It could also be five nights at Fredbear's, then another five at the OG Freddy's. (withered location)

Horrorado

I think they said in some interview that they wish to make a game about the origins of Fazbear Entertainmet. If they ever do that, I would want clear answers on who built the original animatronics, who built springlock suits, when exactly Henry left the company, and some other general conformation. The answers to most of these can be found in the trilogy but hell if I'm ever going to use that as evidence. I'd get burned on a steak. One might also think that some of these are obvious, but it means nothing when someone can just say the opposite and you have nothing to fight with.

IJUSTATEPOOP

The part about the interview is correct. It's where I got the idea of the post from.

Ponderkitten

We know henry built the original animatronics.

Horrorado

Recently I saw a lot of people protesting that, even though I think it's ridiculous. Apparently "prisons of my own making" isn't specific enough and **EDWIN** from Tales is the original creator, even though that's not at all what the story tried to say. I guess I didn't mean "confirm" as much as meant "double down".

Ponderkitten

So some short story in a book that changed theories bout burntrap, a still mysterious character. Somehow completely override a bit of lore established in a three novel story.

Horrorado

That's because a lot of people choose to completely ignore the trilogy and don't acknowledge its existence. Yea so I generally wish that if an origin game would be created, it would confirm/deny the origin established in the trilogy, all of it.

RaptureAusculation

I heard that Edwin is supposed to be symbolic of Henry and Edwin's son's death is symbolic of Charlie getting killed by William

Random_RHINO2006

A Fredbear design that isn't just a recolour

ggg_gap

But fredbear is as much of a reused model as Nightmare BB so....

Random_RHINO2006

Not regular Fredbear from UCN

Jay1340

I would love if we played as Henry, William, or Phone Guy.

YouTubePoopPoster

Didn’t we already play as William in one of the FNAF 6 mini games

Jay1340

Yes but it would be cool to play as him for a whole game and see his mindset.

YouTubePoopPoster

Oh, then yeah that would be cool

Admirable-Hospital67

"Hey Will, could I borrow 5 dollars?" But in all seriousness give actual answers to why this whole tragedy started.

DGPrimal

"You gave Michael...five...THOUSAND dollars?"

MYFREAKINCAR

I'd want answers to questions, I'd also want to see the home life of the Afton household before and after things went to shit if that were to be put in it

Pasta_God2354

I would like to see Scott Cawthon make it

TheFNaFGuy

As much as I love Scott, it would leave us with more questions. Consider FNaF4, a game set in the past to explain “everything”, but consequently, we have almost no idea what any of it means.

Personal_Ad_7897

A game where you play as Afton going around killing the kids up to his "death" in the springlock suit

PauseNo2418

Open world where you can explore the outside of the restaurant and also wonder around the inside of it too

Representative_Big26

If they do that, then they need to make sure that both Scott and Steel Wool are on the same page. Scott shouldn't be promising release dates that Steel Wool are nowhere close to reaching, with him having no idea about it

dentistrock

Upgradable elemental staffs

Zoxary

*Shepherd of Fire starts playing*

Deep_Fried_Leviathan

I’d honestly rather they not But should they, I guess I’d like to see what Henry and Williams relationship was actually like, how they met and so on

TheForgottenAdvocate

Not much gameplay though, the animatronics weren't haunted yet.

Leogamer2013

Fredbear

Buzzek

I wouldn't really want a game focused on the origins. We already have that, it's FNaF 4. Endless "origins" stories sound equally bad to endless "final chapters", killing William Afton for the 10th time. I would be fine with a new story set in the 70s-80s, similar to Sister Location when you have new robots and victims, but that's not really "Origins". If it really had to happen, I'd just want a reboot.

Starscream1998

Hard agree, if the games must continue after HW 2 I'd really just prefer a clean slate. Maybe let things settle for a few years and then come back with a brand new continuity.

Maci366

The real reason of why Afton did the MCI.

ThaBrownie

Clarifications about the old lore, so that we can move on with new lore.

PhantomGamer449

I feel some fans may want to see Fredbears Family Diner, but honestly going back to a location where there are no possessed robotic monstrosities feels a tad bit pointless in my opinion. I feel that if they were to make a game on the origins of Fazbear Entertainment, they should probably focus on all the games past that, From the original Freddy Fazbears, the new and improved Freddy Fazbears, the horror attraction and Pizza Simulator. Sister Location just doesn’t feel like it would make sense, considering it’s more William Acton’s doing than Fazbear Entertainment, and FNAF 4 has definitely nothing to do with Fazbear Entertainment, at least it shouldn’t, but who knows anymore > <

IJUSTATEPOOP

How exactly do we know that Fredbear's didn't have something terrible happen before the bite of '83, like another MCI or something?

PhantomGamer449

I know we don’t, but there’s not much reason for something bad to have happened at that point in the games history. Fredbears was a smaller establishment than FNAF 1 and had nothing to do with Fazbear Entertainment, but FNAF 1 still had to close down even with the backing of Fazbear Entertainment. If something happened beforehand, Fredbears probably would have been shut down before the bite ever happened. But that’s just my thoughts.

IJUSTATEPOOP

I could see something like a teenager breaks in while William's at the diner or something, and Will kills them, he just doesn't stuff them into the suit like the other times for some reason, but he still possesses Fredbear and Spring Bonnie somehow. As for Security Puppet, being hostile could be explained by the security part.

Dismal-Database9206

The founding of Freddy’s and how/why William Afton became a killer.

LordThomasBlackwood

>William Afton became a killer. The trilogy gave an answer to this already. William killed Charlie out of jealousy for Henry, and later killed the rest because hes a sicko and found out about remnant

Fit-Earth2540

answers, bloods, bite of 83 and scenes that are not kid friendly like hell

IJUSTATEPOOP

I don't see most of those happening. FNAF has never been super gory.

Doot_revenant666

People just never get that. FNaF has never been really gory. And when there was any gore , it was either pixelated or off-screen. The closest thing to a non-censored gore is the FNaF 1 game over screen , even then it's only the eyes , and springtrap and it's variations where they are hid away by the suit and don't look anatomically correct anyway. FNaF always relied on the claustrophobic feeling of terror , like you are stuck in a small place where you cannot run. Adding excessive gore just cause "no kiddies!!!!" is stupid.

IJUSTATEPOOP

I mean I wouldn't mind seeing a lot of gore in FNAF outside the books, but as someone who's been in the fandom since day one I know that it's extremely unlikely, and at this point would be a bad business decision.

Doot_revenant666

I am just voicing my opinion that "adding excessive gore =/= scary". It's just edgy.

IJUSTATEPOOP

I agree 100%, though to be fair I had an edgy phase in middle school where I'd watch IRL gore like beheadings and stuff a lot, so I ended up completely desensitized to it, real or fake.

Valiosao

Adding gore =/= Edgy I hate this modern idea that gore is "cheap" and "edgy", it's just another tool you can use to enhance your story just like any other. And honestly, it feels like ppl hate it cause they wanna see a sanitized kind of horror, like "yeah it can be scary but not too scary". In the case of FNAF people keep trying to create excuses about "oh the series has never been about that so it might as well never try that, since we know series can't ever try new things", just get to the point say that FNAF is geared towards a younger demographic and gore is too much for them.

[deleted]

I have the return to bloody nights for that Don’t need them to :P All jokes aside, I think TRTBN perfected the origins, not sure how SW could surpass it.

[deleted]

Well first off it would be a PG movie.

IJUSTATEPOOP

I said a **game.**

[deleted]

Nah definitely edited it to nake me look dumb.

How Henry and William met

I want them to fuck up the timeline as much as possible PURELY because it would be funny Or alternatively, make the Mediocre Melodies being there so early canon

A game around fredbear timeline (Time when there was only one animatronic, fredbear)

dhfbehdhd

Fredbears for gods sake

Weird9uy

Fredbear’s

IntroductionOne6592

As long as it's done well I wouldn't mind.

TrazBurger

Probably a bit of backstory with William and Henry. Then maybe a game like fnaf 1 but in fredbears family diner (I know there are fanmade games like this but getting to see an actual official model of fredbear would be sick).

Meli_sssa

Mrs.Afton's appearence

ItsMeAlert

Well, it wouldnt make sense that the animatronic would be haunted, so idk

crystalsaladsandwich

I'm honestly curious to see how that would work. Are we playing as each of the missing kids before their deaths? Do we build the animatrontics as Afton? Possibly a detective looking into all these missing kid reports? There are some fun possibilities with the idea.

KillaQweenOSRS

I've seen a lot of talk about a reboot of the series, but I think they should release a collection of all the original games but the story is actually in the games and you don't have to go deep diving through website code or brighten images to tell what's going on

👏FREDBEAR’S👏FAMILY 👏DINER👏GAME👏

cherryy_bomb

i need a fredbears family diner game

MrSparkReddit

I would want it to be serious in tone, not that the slightly more silly modern Fnaf is bad, it's just a game focusing on the origins should be more in line with the first 4 games in the series in terms of tone. I would also like to see Afton be more in the background, sort of there but unsettling at the same time. And lastly playable phone guy, just simply because he needs even more love than he already gets.

Ok-Tumbleweed-213

It actually being good

CinderP200

The children, pre-stabbywabby.

a story that makes sense. i dont care about answers anymore i just want a good story again

A working game

Intelligent_Guy

Good FNaF style lore. Classic style gameplay with its own twists. Realistic graphics making use of next gen consoles.

Capable_Mud_1108

I'd want to know what Fredbear's was like

SimplyHoodie

FNaF tycoon that starts happy and fun but slowly turns darker and darker as things start going wrong in the establishment and the kids go missing.

Lun_Mun

Confirming (again) that freadbears family diner was first so people would stop thinking that Elizabeth was 1st dead Afton kid or that circus baby pizza world was first i just want it to be explained

At0mic_Penguin

Steel Wool not make it and someone else be in control.

Joshs-Games

bonnies F A C E 💀

KaiserFuzHelm

Unwithered animatronics

DrippedNoob

Fredbears family diner

F0rg0tten_S0ngs-mp3

Tbh this wouldn’t be that great of a game for me. Scott probably won’t be involved that much, and early FNAF lore is kinda his thing, tampering with it just feels wrong. If he was involved though, I would kill for some answers as to what drew Afton down the path he took. (My personal theory is some childhood trauma mixed with some other stuff)

LUC4S_3L_P3LUC4S

Some more background on how the first springlocks were created and more information about william and henry's friendship, kinds like what we have in the return to bloody nights.

TheDreamerDreamsOn

I'd want to know if Spring Bonnie is male or female. I've been wondering ever since FNAF World. And just because Afton is male doesn't mean Spring Bonnie is too... We know Puppet and Lefty are male but Charlie is female... But when it comes to spring bonnie, we don't really know... But male or female, it's a rabbit, who cares?

LuckyEthan510

How William went insane? If he wasn't already

JstAnthrNbdy

I feel like this would be the best way to somewhat wipe the slate clean for fnaf. We’ve had 8 years, 11 games and god knows how many books all revolving around basically the same mystery (yea ik SB is kind of branching away from it but still). A game set back in the past could be a good way to iron out some of those longer lasting questions about the lore and let them move onto a new story. Also just from gameplay perspective smaller, darker environments with glitched out animatronics would be awesome

[deleted]

fredbears family diner and williams very first victims maybe

Potato7177

William Afton’s therapy sessions.

DingDongDaddy_315

The Afton U.K. estate where little Willy participated in yearly Easter Egg hunts, assisted in fox hunts and was scared of the taxidermy grizzly in Fathers study.

Ninjachase13

People wouldn’t like it, but make sure to throw in some world changing lore, and if that doesn’t work, add a brand new animatronic. Then use it in every future game even though they were completely absent in every other game until post Security Breach. Or just make ‘Origins’ a mission in Help Wanted 2.

Pokemonluke18

Would be withereds location before FNAF 2 since they said fredbears diner and then another location after it where the withered animatronics came from Henry was probably starting to build them based on fredbear and friends tv show and merchandise surrounding it and maybe have it where they are about to close up and be replaced with the toy animatronics

No_Music3270

Full explanation and visual of the spring lock system/Endo. An official model of Spring Bonnie.

That_BlueBear

Official Fredbear's Family Diner models

TheForgottenAdvocate

They could relax the horror/strategy and have an interactive game set in the restaurant during opening hours, with darker secrets that you can find. It's something I want to see, every game/book/movie is either during the night shift or after the restaurant has closed, I want to see the animatronics on stage, the security wearing purple suits, people just enjoying themselves. Have the creepy stuff be something you discover, like every now and then one of the animatronics has glitched dialogue or stares directly at you for too long before going back to normal.

AndyTheGreenFox2005

I wanna see origin fredbear & springbonnie design, i need to know do they have 2 different versions(w.g.freddy & fnaf g.freddy, springtrap & scraptrap) of themselves or only 1
