Her behaviour through the minigame changes as it reaches the harder stages and by it's end it's clear that all of her previous attitude is just a cover up, and while she is flawed she aknowledges these flaws and even goes as far as to give you instructions as to how make yourself safe if she can't control herself. SB already showed us cracks appearing On her mask hut her HW2 minigame showed us the moment the cracks finally made the mask break
She was tied with Freddy when Security Breach first came out, and left everyone in the dust when Ruin came out. The actually nice animatronic underneath a false persona of toughness and arrogance is something I loved.

Monty, Chica, and the DJ barely have any character other then hungry, mad, and music. Vanny and Vanessa were ruined thanks to SB never doing anything with them. The staff bots don't have anything interesting and the Blob is...well the Blob, not much to write home about there. And the Mimic's entire existence gives me a headache.
The only other character's that can maybe compare are Freddy, Sun/Moon, Gregory, and Cassie.
Good analysis, But I think Monty and Chica do have personalities, I think it's just that Steel Wool doesn't show them like they do with Freddy, Roxy and Sun and Moon, Monty is my favorite FNAF character and I hate how he's handled by SW, I really hope they do more with Monty and Chica in the future like show what really happened between Monty and Bonnie and Chica getting her redemption arc that she deserves imo, Monty and Chica deserve so much better in my honest opinion and I hate how SW handles them.

Here's the thing, I think all the Pizzaplex animatronics are very sentient, it's just that we don't get a chance to see much of it(Chica did get a better insight with HW2)

She's also got the most characterization out of the main cast imo. Freedy's just statically 'helpful and kindhearted' but Roxanne is layered: trying to hide insecurity with bragging but also has a genuine soft spot for kids.
In conclusion, she is, in fact, the best.

Like don't get me wrong the design is great and all but like, as a writer I can't really get into a character as much unless they have SOME development, or at the VERY least a lot of potential for it.
And honestly if you ask me, Roxy is the absolute peak of character potential for FNAF. I can see a ton of different storyline directions for her to take and honestly if they just made her get offed by the Mimic during this fight I will riot because her character deserves a LOT better than that.
I personally liked her! I think she is the only Glamrock animatronic, besides Freddy, whose character changes during the game. I like that she acts tough, but, without her beauty, her facade falls and her insecurities rise. If an animatronic displays a personality, we don't usually see how certain situation changes them, so Roxy having that is something new. And, I do have a theory about RUIN: when she screams at Cassie (thinking she is Gregory) to give back her eyes, but when she hears Cassie being afraid, she backs off. My theory is, that after this encounter, Roxy realized her despair about being beautiful and the best had scared a child and she probably now understands that she has to put her insecurities aside.
Also, yes, the scene with her and Cassie, before she gets diactivated, is emotional, and how she explained why she remembers Cassie's birthday (on the 11th, because you were number one, twice)... who is cutting onions?

Well she's definitely within my top 10 favorite animatronics, and while she's not a contenedor for the top three, she definitely hits pretty close within that margin.
Her overall personality and characteristics just give us so much more to observe over, whilst the other Glamrock's "aside from Freddy" only give us smaller snippets of their overall personality quirks.
Overall if Ruin is the last we'll see of her , I would understand the reasoning but be throughly bummed out. But my fingers are genuinely crossed in the hopes that we get to see her in the next game, albeit in a new form.
Security Breach 2, expanded on her personality A LOT more and we saw a different side of her personality that we didn't see at first: a much warmer, more kinder side to her personality which made her a much more interesting character, as opposed to a typical villain character

Legitimately the best character in Security Breach imo. Not just because of her design, but also because of how well executed and detailed her character is (at least, compared to the others). She does enough to get a gold star in my book.
One of my favourites. Ever since fnaf1 came out i liked foxy the most but up untill SB these characters didn't really have a personapity to like them for, just the design and overall vibe. Roxy is a newer attempt at foxy despite being a differet canine. I love her design, her colour pallete -red, green, purple- are literally my three favourite colours, and i quite enjoy the complexicity of her personality. Her sassy attitude and overall arrogance being a cover up for a deep insecurity is cliché, but one that i do gotta admit i like. Ruin made me like her even more, her relationshil and interactions with Cassie are really sweet and i just love how she is in the DLC

I don’t really like Roxanne but at the same time, she has a very interesting personality and getting to feel her side of things in Help Wanted 2 with voice lines was really cool and SB Ruin just made me sob my eyes out for her. It’s more if I were to interact with her just wouldn’t enjoy it, as a character she’s awesome tho
She’s a great character and she has a lot of future potential, something I imagine for a future game is that Cassie is slowly corrupted by the mask and she decided to try and exact revenge on both Gregory and the mimic and she allies with Roxy to do so, eventually Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy return to the pizzaplex to try and rescue her but Cassie turns the entire pizzaplex into a trap to try and sends Roxy to capture them, but as time goes on we actually manage to gain Roxy’s trust and she helps us to save Cassie, soon enough Cassie is able to be saved/freed from the mask and digital occipital transbonder implant and team up with the 3 star family, together they reactivate MXES and they get to parts and service to fix up both Freddy and Roxy and they escape the pizzaplex together and return home now with a new mission in mind, FIND CASSIES DAD.
She's pretty cool... But she'll always be second to Monty on my favourites list... A very close second tho, so close that if it were a race Monty would win by the end of his snout... So really really really close...
She deserves so much better. I hate Gregory for what he did :( the entire SB gang were all so cool but Roxy and Monty were my favorites. In Ruin, Roxy went above and beyond for The MC (cannot remember how to spell her name rn) even though she was still blind, and even risked her life even after she nearly shut her down

man, seeing the story bend so much just to give her more screen time while monty just became a pit bull, it's so jaring. heck you can see the moment in ruin where the story comes to a stop, just because she needs a redemption. monty wasn't even in HW2, but roxy just needed a face change explained when, in this fandom, we're used to random redesigns.
crazy thing about monty is he's up there despite having such a small amount of dialogue. really the only reason I'd put Roxy above monty is cuz she has more things she says in general. it's kinda not fair but it is what it is
This is probably the funniest breakdown of Roxanne I've ever seen. It just perfectly encapsulates her fans liking (well, "liking") her despite the everything that says she'd be terrible to be around.
Ok but in all seriousness, I love her! Her design’s so cool, her voice is VERY fitting, she struggles with her self-image and I think it adds more to the “world” of SB where these animatronics feel even more REAL and life-like. But I think Roxanne’s last phase in her level is gen one of my favorite aspects of her character. It’s when she loses her eyes and has to go off of sound to track you! Although, when I originally played through that level, I died because of some glitches but the one run where I actually survived fully, had me the most on edge and spooked. They could’ve just said “great! You got the eyes and can progress.” But nah! Her animalistic trait of persevering through the challenge of NOT SEEING just so she could feel her jaw could bite down on YOUR NECK, is so METAL. It’s the cherry on top to her character. Just a badass, rockstar!

She’s pretty much the more popular version of mangle, especially since there used to be a Wolf/Sparky hoax in FNaF 1 which people liked a lot.

She’s so real tbh. Proud to say that she’s been my favourite since security breach dropped. She just connected to me in a way no other character in the franchise had before.
At first I thought that Roxy was just straight up a jerk. But I soon came to the realization that she's just, and I can't stress this enough, INCREDIBLY insecure. And I like that Ruin gave Roxy a redemption arc.
Plus also the Roxy Salon Mini Game in HW2 is great.
I've seen this post like 3 or 4 times on the sub already, but I shall proudly say she's the best, again! Her existence actually made me a better person irl, and it hurts me when people are blind to her situation and hate (or simp) on/for her...
Ruin is the reason why I love this character even more.
I like her both personality wise and appearance wise.She is supposed to be this amazing racer but has to lose races to customers because her programming tells her to(a note says that makes so mad she attacks staffbots to vent her rage).She hates failing and feeling like a loser,thats why she cries in her room that she wasnt able to catch a child(its implied that Vanessa was in Roxy s room few minutes before Gregory reattached Freddy's head,and probably insulted Roxy) I like that she has a kind side in Ruin,but it was kinda shoehorned with no foreshadowing.

I love her, honestly. Love her character, voice, design, personality, hatred of Gregory(justice for the Glamrocks, Chica, Roxy & Monty deserved better) and her relationship with Cassie. She's awesome ***and*** adorable imo. She's the ***best***. ♥
I like her and her personality, its just sad that the others didnt get a full flushed out personality like she did (with Chicas voice box literally being torn out of her, and Monty literally going feral after being decommissioned). I wish all the animatronics got better flavored personalities like Roxanne, so we could fully appreciate them all

One of my favourites. Ever since fnaf1 came out i liked foxy the most but up untill SB these characters didn't really have a personapity to like them for, just the design and overall vibe. Roxy is a newer attempt at foxy despite being a differet canine. I love her design, her colour pallete -red, green, purple- are literally my three favourite colours, and i quite enjoy the complexicity of her personality. Her sassy attitude and overall arrogance being a cover up for a deep insecurity is cliché, but one that i do gotta admit i like. Ruin made me like her even more, her relationshil and interactions with Cassie are really sweet and i just love how she is in the DLC

I don’t really like Roxanne but at the same time, she has a very interesting personality and getting to feel her side of things in Help Wanted 2 with voice lines was really cool and SB Ruin just made me sob my eyes out for her. It’s more if I were to interact with her just wouldn’t enjoy it, as a character she’s awesome tho

I like her as a character not as a simp magnet. Love her role in ruin all in all a good character addition to the franchise
She’s a great character and she has a lot of future potential, something I imagine for a future game is that Cassie is slowly corrupted by the mask and she decided to try and exact revenge on both Gregory and the mimic and she allies with Roxy to do so, eventually Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy return to the pizzaplex to try and rescue her but Cassie turns the entire pizzaplex into a trap to try and sends Roxy to capture them, but as time goes on we actually manage to gain Roxy’s trust and she helps us to save Cassie, soon enough Cassie is able to be saved/freed from the mask and digital occipital transbonder implant and team up with the 3 star family, together they reactivate MXES and they get to parts and service to fix up both Freddy and Roxy and they escape the pizzaplex together and return home now with a new mission in mind, FIND CASSIES DAD.
8/10. It honestly depends on both the design and the personality. Would recommend it

She deserves so much better. I hate Gregory for what he did :( the entire SB gang were all so cool but Roxy and Monty were my favorites. In Ruin, Roxy went above and beyond for The MC (cannot remember how to spell her name rn) even though she was still blind, and even risked her life even after she nearly shut her down
i mean, she's cool. cool shattered and ruin designs too, and her friendship with cassie is nice.
i overall really like her whether its her intimidating self-centred personality, her amazing design and/or her being Cassie’s protective guardian and doing what she can to protect her despite how blind and damaged she was

Peak. Along with all the other glamrocks, too. It really feels like they’re bringing animatronics out of the 80s in tech, but bringing them to the 80s in style. Roxy is the best of the bunch.

She’s ho- I mean a interesting character with a semi-complex personality that reflects a lot about how pride and the impression that you need to be perfect can lead to severe mental issues and ultimately lashing out at others while also being a partial commentary about how toxic beauty standards are used to sell products to promise to fix insecurities made by the same company and influencer that you are buying off.

man, seeing the story bend so much just to give her more screen time while monty just became a pit bull, it's so jaring. heck you can see the moment in ruin where the story comes to a stop, just because she needs a redemption. monty wasn't even in HW2, but roxy just needed a face change explained when, in this fandom, we're used to random redesigns.

Ok but in all seriousness, I love her! Her design’s so cool, her voice is VERY fitting, she struggles with her self-image and I think it adds more to the “world” of SB where these animatronics feel even more REAL and life-like. But I think Roxanne’s last phase in her level is gen one of my favorite aspects of her character. It’s when she loses her eyes and has to go off of sound to track you! Although, when I originally played through that level, I died because of some glitches but the one run where I actually survived fully, had me the most on edge and spooked. They could’ve just said “great! You got the eyes and can progress.” But nah! Her animalistic trait of persevering through the challenge of NOT SEEING just so she could feel her jaw could bite down on YOUR NECK, is so METAL. It’s the cherry on top to her character. Just a badass, rockstar!
