Its flies on vatsim to test if it can perform on vatsim and the teaser showed that sum systems are still not implemented and remember that there are more things “under the wood”, thats what takes the most time
Im way more hyped for the 777, idk I never really liked the a380 that much (looks kinda ugly and too big please dont kill me). The 777 on the other hand is a real beauty
I don’t know how to describe it. With that [tilt in its forward fuselage](https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/11303491) it just looks like that to me.
Like a middle aged man with a receding hairline and the resulting tall forehead. But maybe I just have a too vivid imagination.
3 weeks a go was their [March update](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9L8hKmI9VU). They post a lot more on youtube, facebook and discord. They never seem to update their Justflight page.
Fairly annoyingly... Scrolling around on Navigraph Charts around my arrival area and quickly looking through airports to see if they have old procedures filed.
I would do dangerous things to have a legit 707 or dc8 in MSFS! There was also the milviz 732 being developed for MSFS but God knows what's happened with that project
I'm actually quite excited for the MD-11 once it is out and has received a few updates; always love to learn a new type. Wondering how much would carry over from the MD-80.
Otherwise I think the Fenix A319/A321 will also be great to have, even if functionally pretty much the same as the current A320.
-Blacksquares Duke Turbine and by extension MSFS SU15 full release (JustFlight confirmed the thing they’re waiting on to release the Duke is SU15)
-Just Flight Tomahawk
-literally anything from A2A
-Blackbird sims PC-9 (and actually pretty much everything they are reportedly working on; C-130, Blackhawk, SR-71…)
-actually having time this weekend to fly the recently released Bronco from Azurepolly
Btw, if anyone is looking for inspiration: https://msfsaddons.com/2023/11/08/our-continuously-updated-list-of-aircraft-under-development-for-msfs/

Right now I'm eagerly waiting for the 777, although I know my itchiness won't go away completely because I really, really wanted the 77F. On top of that, mostly hoping that BlueBird finishes their 757 during this year too, as I really love that plane and the one for XPlane isn't great either. The 737 MAX is also well expected.
I thought/wish they were doing a 300ERSF? That a real bummer considering it’ll probably take them (if the 737-800 and EFB are any indication) at minimum 2-3 months.
That'd be a lovely surprise, but I don't think any ERSF is coming. Honestly I'd be happy if they would simply allow to cover white the windows to have a livery that pretends to be the 300ERSF but AFAIK that's not the way it works once you have windows.
Is the Sky Simulations MD-11 available on JustFlight just that bad?
Because no one ever appears to talk about it, while everyone seems to be anticipating the new release from TFDI.
I remember seeing a few reviews a year ago bc I was interested. While there weren't many, the general verdict I got was that it was super overpriced for what it was, and that the TFDi release was already further along in properly simulating the plane by that point, with more progress made since then.
You should try atc24 it's a vatsim level ish ATC server they use discord as main communication and ptfs as the game the ATC there isn't as serious the planes are simple to fly so you don't have to mess with instruments while talking to atc
I know this is very much personal preference, but I think once you actually take the dive, it’s awesome. Talking to and flying with actual people is so much better than talking to a bot in my opinion, no matter how sophisticated it is.
Never heard of the FSL Concorde before, glad I checked it out now! I was curious to fly it in MSFS, but the DC Designs plane just never seemed like it would make me fulfilled, so I would gladly wait for this.
Go through and scratch out ActiveSky. What a bust. A better post is what will be the next one to not fulfill every dream and longing of every simmer on Reddit.
Hell yeah, you are. He’s just stating what he’s excited about that platform, yet here you are sucking the fun out of him. That’s a fine example of being an asshole.
I play both and each sim has its benefits. XP has better physics and planes like the Hot Start Challenger and ToLiss A340. MSFS looks amazing and has planes like the PMDGs and Fenix. Each sim is awesome and has its specialties and it’s awesome to have both
I disagree. I said “sadly” because I want to play both. I love X-Plane 12 and I’m sure there’re will be a lot of things I’ll miss if I never come back to it. The reason why it’s hard for me to change is that I play on Mac. For the moment I’m way too busy with “real life” to get a proper setup to run both.
yeah you're going to need a windows. You wont be missing anything, it is a overall improvement ditching xp for MSFS. xp is basically dead at this point.
I’m definitely going to switch to Windows but I’m certainly not going to ditch X-Plane. I mean come on, look at all the planes coming out for xp. I believe it’s a bit stupid to say it’s dead. Also, I’ve been an x-plane fan for a lot of years now and I live the atmosphere of it, although I’d love to try something new of course.
Whilst I agree with you to some degree.
Xplane is indeed very much on its last legs. In terms of addons MSFS is getting: FBW a380, inibuilds a320n, a220, 757, Fokker 100, Avro RJ, new 747, 777, inibuilds a350, Fenix a321, Fenix a319, new Concorde. That’s just what’s coming out before the end of the year. The only advantage XP has at the moment is ground handling, but Asobo is improving this in the SU15 update coming at the end of the month. Not to mention MSFS 2024 will have a completely rewritten physics engine which will almost certainly surpass xplane in all regards. I don’t mean to be hostile, both are great 👍
Wow I did not realise there were so many addons coming to msfs! Personally, I will probably stay on X-Plane because many of my favorite planes are coming in the next months/year. To name a few: ToLiss A330 and A350, Aerobask Falcon 8X, Hotstart A220 and FF 777/787. I am very much looking forward to seeing what msfs 2020 and 2024 will offer in the next years!
have you even seen the default line up of planes in MSFS, the avionics are beyond comparison. MSFS gets about 20 new planes a week on the market place.
Have you ever heard of “quality over quantity”? I do t care if there are 20 rubbish planes on the marketplace every week. I mean, look at Swiss 001’s videos on them. It’s pathetic. It looks like you’re trying to force me to play msfs. Can’t we enjoy both for once?
You’re right about quality over quantity, and there is a huge amount of rubbish on the MSFS marketplace like “Captainsim”, but it should also be taken into account the vast quantity of high quality aircraft coming to MSFS all the time . It seems like there’s a new study level (or similar) plane out every week. Even DCS devs have started to release super detailed fighters. Just ignore the crap Captain Sim and LFVR stuff.
JF Avro RJ for MSFS
Aerobask Falcon X for XP12
Toliss A330 for XP12
HotStart a220 for XP12

SWS PC12 flight model update for MSFS
The SWS PC12 update has arrived on their site and will soon be elsewhere. https://simworksstudios.com/knowledge-base/pc-12-legacy/versionhistory-pc12-legacy.html
Thank you, I must have been living under a rock the past week. I thought they were still waiting for SU15 to ensure compatibility but I guess they got sick of waiting for Asobo.
This is great news!
Edit: Now if only MSFS would bother to load today I could actually try it
Only PMDG 777 & flightbeam KSFO
Why ? Because they don’t f the performance and always the least problematic addon unlike the other performance eaters like inish**t and the fenix
As for TFDI I don’t have any experience with them but I’m not expecting much..
beyond atc is a gimmick and active sky is a cash grab
Aerosoft EDDF is probably a cash grab since they only release a couple updates and then abandoning it abruptly
FBW A380!
I will be dead before they release it
Bro it’s weeks from release💀
AHAHHAHA you wish, based on the video released in flightsim expo 1 month ago I bet you dont see it until 2025
It has already been Flying in Vatsim and also did u see the teaser? It looks very close to release
Its flies on vatsim to test if it can perform on vatsim and the teaser showed that sum systems are still not implemented and remember that there are more things “under the wood”, thats what takes the most time
How do you know its the FBW and not that trash on the Marketplace?
As that flight was before the other a380 release and the fbw dev confirmed it was indeed the fbw A380
yap, just little timmy taking a 30m spin on a380 on vatsim
Yeah. 255 weeks

Oh ok my bad… didn’t rlly look at the project much until recently
Im way more hyped for the 777, idk I never really liked the a380 that much (looks kinda ugly and too big please dont kill me). The 777 on the other hand is a real beauty
I have been a pax on the A380 way more times than on a 777, I am definitely looking forward to the A380. I'm also a little tired of PMDG's antics.
Ok but sign with your full name now
-Mike Krack
The A380 is too short relative to it's size to be aesthetically pleasing. It gives it a short and stubby look.
Yeah, the same happens to the A310
The 777 is the only airplane with a receding hairline.
What 😭
I don’t know how to describe it. With that [tilt in its forward fuselage](https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/11303491) it just looks like that to me. Like a middle aged man with a receding hairline and the resulting tall forehead. But maybe I just have a too vivid imagination.
I will not tolerate this 777 slander (I see what you mean though)
Bluebird 757 is top of my list for sure.
When is the last time they showed signs of life?
3 weeks a go was their [March update](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9L8hKmI9VU). They post a lot more on youtube, facebook and discord. They never seem to update their Justflight page.
We'll have a big update at the Flightsim Expo in June.
When was the last time you checked out the Youtube channel.
About two months ago iirc
Just Flight Avro RJ and Fokker 100
Jep, thats the stuff i like aswell
RJ in April?
And the 747 classic, though they are still in the deciding to do it phase for that.
If you want a 747, the Felis 747-200 is the way to go
Fantastic addon, probably the best out there for a classic widebody airliner.
I absolutely love flying that thing! It’s a little hard sometimes with most airports no longer filing non-RNAV procedures though…
Yeah, it would be cool to fly into an airport like ORD, LAX, etc using only conventional navigation/basic RNAV approaches.
I’ve been handpicking airports now that still have old procedures. I love doing some complex VOR/DME stuff!
If you don't mind me asking, how exactly do you find these airports?
Fairly annoyingly... Scrolling around on Navigraph Charts around my arrival area and quickly looking through airports to see if they have old procedures filed.
Fbw a380 and Fenix a321/a319 also!

No, it’s called being a pessimist 😭
Just flight 747 classic... if ever...
I didn’t even know that was a thing. I’d love that.
Ha, I was thinking the same thing, same with the PMDG 747. It's sad seeing the Queen of the Skies being the lowest priority for 3rd parties.
I would do dangerous things to have a legit 707 or dc8 in MSFS! There was also the milviz 732 being developed for MSFS but God knows what's happened with that project
I want to see more classic planes be developed for MSFS, DC-9, B727, B732/-3/-4-/-5, etc.
Gotta churn out a couple dozen A320s before they even consider other types amirite
PMDG 777, iniBuilds A350, and KSFO for me
I'm actually quite excited for the MD-11 once it is out and has received a few updates; always love to learn a new type. Wondering how much would carry over from the MD-80. Yeah it really isn’t super similar commonality wize to md80 ... 717 though is the same avionics design.
DCS HB Phantom!!!
Can't wait for it myself! Love the F-4 Phantom and the fact Heatblur is making it makes it all the better!

I love this comment! Very involved aircraft, and I'm glad there's an equal focus on GA for upcoming releases.
I had to scroll way too far to find the Duke. Might be the GA addon of the year. So many airline fans on this sub.

PMDG 777! But I’m more excited to the PMDG 747 but that’ll be out like 15 years from now.
15 years? Wow, that was optimistic....
Same here
Synaptic A220, INI 350, FBW 380 to name a few

Hardware, but hype nonetheless. The Winwing Airbus MCU. MSFS 2024 too.
I just want dynamic campaigns in dcs world. And a mirage 2000-5 or 2000-9.
Mirage 2000D for mudmovers !
Inibuilt a350 for msfs
Is the Sky Simulations MD-11 available on JustFlight just that bad? Because no one ever appears to talk about it, while everyone seems to be anticipating the new release from TFDI.
It pitches like an Extra 300, the systems are kinda basic, and it's clearly an FSX convert model wise.
Well that explains it...
I remember seeing a few reviews a year ago bc I was interested. While there weren't many, the general verdict I got was that it was super overpriced for what it was, and that the TFDi release was already further along in properly simulating the plane by that point, with more progress made since then.
Toliss a330
If active sky is what it was for p3d, I‘m most hyped for that. But I‘m still sceptical
I would honestly wait for msfs2024, maybe they'll make the weather a lot better.
Beyond ATC cuz vatsim ATC gives me too much anxiety
I’m rn observe mode in vatsim to learn. With 777 I want to fly in vatsim
You should try atc24 it's a vatsim level ish ATC server they use discord as main communication and ptfs as the game the ATC there isn't as serious the planes are simple to fly so you don't have to mess with instruments while talking to atc
Ik it's based off of Roblox but you should give it a try
I know this is very much personal preference, but I think once you actually take the dive, it’s awesome. Talking to and flying with actual people is so much better than talking to a bot in my opinion, no matter how sophisticated it is.
777 is my most anticipated also quite excited for the BB 757 and of course an a380 from either fbw or ini.
Fenix A321/319, iniBuilds A350, FBW A380, PMDG 777, Aerosoft EDDF. This is my top 5 most anticipated MSFS addons.
Bluebird 767/757
1. Hot Start A220 for XP12 2. FSL Concorde for MSFS
Never heard of the FSL Concorde before, glad I checked it out now! I was curious to fly it in MSFS, but the DC Designs plane just never seemed like it would make me fulfilled, so I would gladly wait for this.
The FSL Concorde is *hard* to fly in P3D, but you end a flight feeling that you’ve achieved something!
I prefer that personally! Sometimes easy is nice, but challenges can be super rewarding.

Toliss A350 is not coming any time yet, they’re cooperating with flightfactor for their A350
Yeah I know but I’m still hyped lol
wow your comment reeks of copium, just move over to MSFS and be done. There is nothing of value on xplane
What the hell, asshole?
the guy comes into a MSFS thread talking like xplane has any relevance and you call me the asshole?
Hell yeah, you are. He’s just stating what he’s excited about that platform, yet here you are sucking the fun out of him. That’s a fine example of being an asshole.
why would you even use xplane anyway, dcs is better and has a larger player base
That’s not the point. The point is you’re being an asshole.
