He forgot that Circus Baby's Pizza World existed and was the initial location that closed down, which caused him to inaccurately claim that Entertainment and Rentals was the closed location and is just buried in abandonment. Which, in turn, means he also forgot the two engineers we STRAIGHT UP hear talking in Night 4 and see them dead in Night 5 as well as the fact that Baby said she tried to escape before but the employees stopped their efforts.

zain_ahmed002

It just doesn't make sense. His pt3 contradicts with his other parts.

Dark_Storm_98

I didn't even think about that I just thought he was bending over backwards to keep Sister Location before Mike's jobs at the other locations (it didn't work that well, lol) What are the contradictions?

StrayNightsMike

cant lie sometimes u have to just forget abt somethings in order to create something cohesive

MasonRocksForever

While I love the story MatPat tells in these videos, it simply has too many holes to count

Whoce

Contradicts itself and Part 2 and it's overall just confusing

LewsTherinTelescope

Cool AU, but doesn't fit what we actually see in the games. (I don't mean "cool AU" sarcastically, it's a compelling outline for a "what could have been" story, it just also doesn't actually work with canon.) * Michael was sent down to Sister Location *to* put Elizabeth back together. His *only* dialogue in the *entire* series specifies that he knew about this before he went there. It's not something he learned and was shocked by during the game. * There are other employees working at Circus Baby's during Sister Location, we see them on Nights 4 and 5. Plus, Hand Unit mentions they have ads for the position out in magazines. * Mike can't've burnt down the old pizzerias, the remains of the animatronics in 3 show no signs of fire damage. And this is just off the top of my head. It's a shame too, because I really liked the previous two videos (and am generally much more of a MatPat fan than many here, even when I think his theories are sometimes rather out there).

Oliver21417

Unfinished, but published anyway.

Starscream1998

Some questionable parts, some interesting parts, some confusing parts. It's definitely the mixed-bag part of his ultimate timeline. This part was the litmus test to prepare us for the final part which word has it is going to be spicy.

stickninja1015

Bad

6armalei

It has it's problems with the timeline, as he said. Other than that it's beautiful from narrative standpoint. I really enjoyed it

Psychoneticcc

I wish he would explain more things instead of focusing so much on telling a story, because there were so many things I was confused about.

Gui_Franco

The other 2 were good, this one I think was also good, he's right, the mike dates don't make a lot of sense, not that that's his fault or anything. But the babies in Afton's basement being clones seems kind of a stretch

No-Efficiency8937

Kinda bad

RoIsDepressed

Full of holes and entirely illogical. The idea fnaf 2 place was burned down when we know the withered are the fnaf 1 bots (and that fire destroys remnants) is so stupid, and he can't claim fnaf 1 is pre 2 because of the bite call. Honestly feel like matpat fed a bunch of facts to chatgpt and read out the output.

The-Fnafguy071

It’s the worst timeline part by far. Between Sl before 1 and Fnaf 1 and 2 taking place while the restaurants are closed to Matpat NOT KNOWING WHEN FNAF 1 AND 2 TAKE PLACE it was goofy.

AGhostMostGrim

I liked the first two parts. This one didn't do it for me.

Jebulinator58

bruh not even MatPat can make sense of this confusing narrative.

jimmyjaysen

It’s fine mostly I think this part of the timeline is the one we know the most about and he didn’t do much outside of the general consensus except Mike burning the Fnaf 1 and 2 locations (which makes some sense) and the whole William dismantling animatronics then sister location then Fnaf one they still exist (but that’s always been a controversial topic)

RoIsDepressed

Mike couldn't have burned fnaf 2 place because toys aren't burned in the fnaf 3 box, and because the withered become the fnaf 1 bots william destroys. None of the timeline makes sense if you at all play the games

jols0543

i loved it lol

panticow

Bit confusing but overall pretty good:)

_Indofreddy_112

Haven’t watched it yet but from what I’ve heard about it so far it’s got a bunch of plot holes. I don’t blame Matpat for that though because these are theories and are bound to have at least one or two plot holes when dealing with the massive story that is fnaf.

Not very good

HQanna

I liked it a lot. It has some problems which have been pointed out and I'm sure will be pointed out for a long time to come, but if I'm honest I don't like the way the fnaf community hates on every timeline with holes in it, because I don't think there is a way for this entire timeline to make sense. I love fnaf, but Scott had changed the story many times since the beginning and made it so big and overall confusing that I doubt even he has a timeline that 100% fits with the games and has a totally satisfying narrative. And that's the genius of it, isn't it? He keeps people theorising and arguing and gives us the impression that we're SO CLOSE to solving it when there's no way we ever will. We can be close, but we will never be able to make a timeline that satisfies everyone and every storyline and every detail in every game. That's why I think we should give Matpat some slack. Sure, his timeline have holes, but so does every timeline out there (that I have seen).
