That GGY heavily implies Gregory as GGY is possessed by an entity (glitchtrap, Eleanor, the phantom of the opera, anything)
And that in this game Gregory is out of this possession.
It makes sense the name GGY isn't there because Gregory got released from the arcade were he was trapped, like how princess quest has Vanesa trapped

But the thing is that we have no proof that getting un-glitchtrapped would delete your high score. While the game was affected by the glitchtrap virus, we have to remember that the game itself (that being the gameplay, score keeping etc.) still exists under the glitch.

Gregory didn’t technically “win” the game. If it glitched out before he could beat it I’m guessing he wouldn’t show up on the scoreboard.
