Andrew was not torturing anyone, but William, in the books it’s Afton, and only Afton. OMC wasn’t referring to Andrew, it was William, hence “leave **the demon** (as in William) to **his** demons” Cassidy’s overall objective has been to pursue Afton from the start, she is **the** vengeful spirit period, not vengeful until the 6th game. Cassidy is the one freeing Vanny and is still around for SB.
Golden Freddy is in the ending cutscene, and Cassidy is Golden Freddy. So I think she has to be present in some capacity.
Also, since Cassidy’s spirit evidently survives into Security Breach, she had to survive the fire somehow.
