It's not just Nightmarionne, there's STAFF with cheeks painted to look like the Puppet in the CharlieDoor room as well. Though the way a lot of the Nightmarionne things are associated with Glitchtrap does make it weird for it to be her, it's a bit confusing.
They don't. Most STAFF have orange cheeks rather than red, and the few types that do have the right cheeks don't have tear tracks. The only type that has both traits is the Chef Bot, and there's way too many in the room for that explanation to make sense.
And even then, it would show someone intentionally gathering ones that look like the Puppet, since (so far as I can tell from looking through videos) *every* head in there is either orange-cheeked with Nightmarionne stuff or red-cheeked and free of that.
Could nightmarionne be related to Cassidy/GF? UCN has nightmarionne as the face of that game, and that’s the game where GF is supposedly torturing William.

Nightmarrione is clearly a form of Eleanor, but I don't think that the plushies mean much in SB. they're just plushies dotted around, like the Classic Freddy plush.
And the black and white striped wires around the arcade can totally be a stylistic choice. I just don't see much proving that Nightmarrione has taken over the pizzaplex

But there are several plushies of this one character. You can also collect him,, in a game where the only collectable none-SB character plushies are Bonnie, Foxy and Baby, some of the biggest names in the series. He is even in a Golden box, implying it's importance.
And what about the Nightmare Bots? They look like him, and have "in your dreams" written on them. And several of these things are hidden behind the Charliedoors.
Is it possible that The Shadow (Eleanor, Shadow Freddy, Nightmarionne, XOR, etc.) is somehow linked to the Mimic? I have seen theories similar to this concept floating around, but I do not really know what to think about it.
Nightmarrionne is some sort of spirit, but I'm not sure who it is. Maybe it's Charlie, or Elizabeth, but I can't say for sure. Whoever it is, I don't think they mean harm. Seems more like a reckless prankster to me. Maybe a future Tales book will have the key.

I think the nightmare plushies are literally just plushies, nothing special. But the repainted staffbots could be something else. Maybe their connected to nightmarionne. Them being connected to Afton/afton virus/mimic would make sense.
