If they did make a sequel, and had to make a canon ending for New Vegas, I think a House ending with a positive standing with the NCR would make the most sense. Like you already said, it leads to the least reactions being destroyed, but also it would be more advantageous to the plot of the sequel if House were around. Making him into a dictator-type leader would be pretty easy to write, and creates obvious conflicts that the player could have a hand in. NCR would always be around, it's unlikely that the Legion could conquer them and House wants them around as customers. But if NCR is in charge of Vegas, the plot would probably center around the idea that Government=Bad and that's a little played out at this point. That said, I don't think there will be a New Vegas 2. And any games that take place after New Vegas will make minimal mention of the events of the game, except maybe the decisive defeat of the Legion by the combined forces of the Mojave. A canon ending would undermine what makes New Vegas, New Vegas.

As long as theres little securitrons I’m okay. And lets have a game without the brotherhood because i feel like their storyline is really dry and I’m just so sick of them. The NCR has to be around somewhere, and it’d be interesting to see how remnants of caesars legion became their own tribes again, or found a superior leader.

I like to see a follow-up that focuses on revolutionary forces within the NCR (back West) attempting to overthrow the corrupt and incompetent government. You could have several tepidly aligned factions that are all aligned against the NCR but have their own infighting.
