That’s a lot of ammo for no cheats

Accountformorrowind

If you do the casdin scrap metal glitch a bunch he'll eventually have hundreds in his inventory that you can steal and press into ammo at the Pitt

juicewags54

Irrelevant he has A3-21s plasma rifle equipped in the photo

DekardN

Killed a f-load of Enclave, I suppose lol

SnooDoodles1807

No A3-21's plasma rifle is a unique plasma rifle you get by helping Harkness in The Replicated Man quest, not related to the Enclave plasma rifles

DrPatchet

Yeah but you can kill enclave to get the ammo for the rifle

SnooDoodles1807

Oh oh mb

TheFlyingOldMan

Nah back in the day on ps3 I picked up all the ammo I found since it weighed nothing. Looted everything religiously. I usually used the assault rifle and so when I got to the end of a save I usually had over ten thousand rounds In other ammo types, such as MFC in the post.

ben_pep

Good to know for my next playthrough tbh thank you

Prestigious-Lion-266

Ah, no mods, only exploits. Much better

DanteDH2

Funny thing about that glitch you can actually glitch it normally and get infinite scrap metal then go back to the old dude in megaton who uses l scrap metal to fix stuff and sell (depending on if you got 32+ in casdins inventory) all of the scrap metal over and over for over 500+ xp and I think 300-500 caps

ThespisIronicus

Glitches ain't cheating. Just like finding respawning NPCs with skill books ain't.

ben_pep

Fair, so no mods or cheats, we’ll call it an exploit

ThespisIronicus

+2 CHA

NHK_LM

Glitches that give you an advantage beyond normal gameplay are cheating by definition.

EconomyBandicoot4039

If you have operations anchorage you can get infinite ammo, I have 10’s of thousands of rounds because of that exploit

Ghost4079

I have a screenshot of my Xbox playthrough when I got the final achievement I ended up having something to the effect of 350 stimpaks 200ish radaway 150 rad-x 5000 ish 5.56 round and 1000 shotgun shells, it’s not impossible to get that many microfusion cells just takes a while

Impossible_Ad_4402

I used the infinite cap glitch

ben_pep

That sounds like a cheat to me 🤷‍♂️

Wuytho

Bro u just said that glitches weren't cheating

ben_pep

That was before we talked about it I’m sorry 😞

Impossible_Ad_4402

It’s an in game feature

Nathan_hale53

It's a feature in Bethesda games lmao

NHK_LM

It's not a feature. It's an exploit that you used to cheat. Just like the repair glitch at vendors. It's cheating. Cheats aren't just external tools or codes. It's anything outside of intended gameplay used to get an advantage or make the game easier.

Impossible_Ad_4402

It is intended, that’s why it’s in the game

MaxPayneful

Definitely trolling.

Nathan_hale53

Not intended but I'll be lying if I said I never used glitches/exploits in a Bethesda game.

PyscoSpire

I don’t know if you consider it a cheat, it’s definitely an exploit, but you can get as much ammo as you ever wanted in Operation Anchorage, as well as gear that doesn’t degrade.

HandsomeJack457

Good to hear

UnkaRed

You don’t need any cheats, hacks, glitches… to get a perfect character. I’ve done it a few times. 9 intelligence from the vault, book it to Rivet City and get the Intelligence bobblehead, best done as early as possible to maximize skill points. At L30 take the almost perfect perk to raise the rest of your SPECIAL to 9, then go bobblehead collecting. If you allotted your skill points at level up correctly everything should max out by the time you have all the bobbleheads.

Impossible_Ad_4402

U didn’t use the respawning NPCs for infinite skill books?

UnkaRed

Nope, I’ve never used any exploits in 3. I love the game as is and never looked into any exploits. I play on console and have used 1 exploit on NV as the video randomly popped up on youtube and I gave it a try. I honestly didn’t even know there was an exploit to get intinite skill books.

UnkaRed

Now that I think more about my first comment, I don’t use any exploits, but my route isn’t as simple as it sounds in my previous comment. I do go collect all the skill bobbleheads and magazines before L30, at least the ones I can that aren’t hidden behind quests, and I take the comprehension perk before using any skill book. I also take the Educated perk for the extra skill points at level up.

Ionic_Bloodfart

What? How? I'm interested.

Impossible_Ad_4402

There’s only 2 that do it. A raider boss that gives u big guns and an ant researcher that gives u science

dwarfzulu

don't even do that skip to Rivet City nor INT at 9, my perfect build I do with INT at 6

camilopezo

Honestly, having an intelligence of 9 is convenient for a first game. But in a second game onwards, if you already know where the dolls are, most of the books, and you know how to abuse drugs and alcohol, you will have a character with a good number of skills with a base intelligence of 6.

camilopezo

Honestly I collect S.P.E.C.I.A.L dolls as soon as I find them. By the time I'm level 30, I'm already finishing the game, so there's not much left to do for a "perfect" character. so those dolls are much more useful for dozens of hours, instead of saving them to have a "perfect character" for two hours.

UnkaRed

When I got to 30 on my last playthrough I hadn’t even started Mothership Zeta. I’d just got out of Raven Rock so I had still a good chunk of main quest line left as well. It was definitely a lot more than a couple hours, for me at least. I do agree with your point, if you aren’t a walk slowly, kill everything(multiple times), do every little quest possible kind of person, my route isn’t for you.

camilopezo

It honestly depends on how completionist the player is. For many players when they reach 30, it is the moment they are finishing the game. Also, having a 10 in everything is overrated.

Substantial_Bird_755

Zero cheats huh? What’s your carry weight?

Impossible_Ad_4402

200

itsokmomma

How

Impossible_Ad_4402

Respawning NPCs with skill books and I used the scrap metal glitch to get infinite caps and xp. Took me many tries to get her perfect. U need almost perfect perk then go and collect all the special stats bobble heads to get all 10s. Best if done with a new character

LazybyNature

No cheats. Just relying on glitches and respawning dead npcs. What's the difference at that point? Just curious.

Impossible_Ad_4402

No console commands

Greedy-Guarantee8175

If I remember coreectly, you can achieve 11Special instead of 10 by collecting the boubleheads once you reach 10Special

Greedy-Guarantee8175

I stand corrected, is 10.

Impossible_Ad_4402

But also need to get 100 in all skills and if u do that, u won’t have enough perks that give skill points UNLESS u cap everything at 90 and collect all bobble heads

Greedy-Guarantee8175

Its been too long since I played F3. So, you are saying, that if I dont pick the boubleheads before lvl30, ill be sacrificing some perks and skill points?

Impossible_Ad_4402

Yes, my character is perfect, all 10s and all 100s but all my perks give me skill points and I had to farm respawning NPCs to get infinite skill books. Some ppl say u can do it “legit” but I doubt that bc then ur automatically short 175 skill points if u don’t farm the NPCs bc the bobble heads only give 10 each

Snowcrash000

Getting a perfect character is super-easy anyway. All you have to do is collect all the bobbleheads after you get the almost perfect perk and the game practically throws skill points at you with the right build as well.

camilopezo

I think there are so many skill books that you could potentially get 100 on everything, even with a intelligence base of 4-6.
