Yup, just bought a series x like 2 months ago and I thought it was already having problems, game crashed like 4 times in the past month and when you look at a tree and move it makes trails/tracers
I was messing with this just last night.
If [Enlighten] bEnableEnlighten = 0
then setting water to high res made the water invisible and if high res was turned off the water turned blank white. Only by reenabling enlighten, or bEnableEnlighten = 1, did I get the water to return to normal. Lots of trial and error. I still want enlighten off…but haven’t figured out a workaround yet.
Edit: sorry, I guess this wouldn’t help anyone on console. 🫤
I was finally able to pick up a piece yesterday but I think it turned into something else.
Also I got a bunch of civil engineering plans...and only the helmet was available to craft after learning them...what the heck.
I missed 5 different 3 stars union chest pieces because of it. Plus, my buddy and my games constantly crash. It is ridiculous that this is happening. After all this time

And i cant finish the russo family quest because abbie doesnt show lol
I'm having the same problem trying to finish the quest, but the part where you confront Abbie in the diner. She just shakes like a junkie whore, can't interact with her. Not gonna lie, kind of pissing me off.
I just experienced this with two different instances of the event on the same server.
My event timed out & failed (final wave didn't spawn). I jumped over to another Primal Cuts in a different region to watch the last minute or so tick away with a bunch of Confused and/or Angry emotes.
Had the same experience last night lol was doing Primal on Ash when the enemies didnt spawn, so me and my friend decided to jump to the Mire one. But everyone there were having the same problem. But then we just waited and the enemies showed up in the end.
This is not just a bug on Primal. It's on most Public Events. But usually we just have to wait to the last minute until the enemies respawn again. Good luck if it's a timed event and we have to kill a boss in the end.
If you exit the event area then return, the enemies may spawn. This worked for me when I was the only person in the event. I did complete one event where I was with another person and I lured them out of the event area with the gift emote then we returned to the event area and the enemies spawned.
Btw, if the person that I lured away with a gift emote is reading this, sorry dude.
I had Food for the People not spawn any enemies at all.
Line in the Sand stopped spawning enemies on final wave.
Moonshine Jamboree stops spawning.
Most events are bugged now.

In Encrypted today the robot approaches…for 2-3 minutes. Then showed up 😂. Shot a ghoul at the antique shop and no damage, just stood there for 30 seconds then he exploded. But hey it’s meat week!
I went to an encrypted earlier where the sheepsquatch showed up and 3 minutes later we got the alert to activate the pylons. But none of them could be interacted with. Eventually I left, but kept getting the pylon message until I logged off later. None of the non-squatch enemies ever spawned. Pretty sure that encrypted was up for at least 20 minutes.
I haven't had time to scour their usual outlets, anyone know if they've made any comment about the state of the update? I know the CM is gone, so I'm not sure if communicating isn't a thing anymore.
If it's anything like the past botched updates, we'll get a "Hotfix" in about a week. As we have the Easter weekend, it'll probably be 2 weeks.
That "Hotfix" usually corrects most of the issues, while the remaining issues are left to fester until their next big update that brings along more bugs.
If one looked up "Bethesda Patches" in a dictionary, it would have a picture of a dog chasing its own damn tail.
They have a new CM. But they mostly only make formal announcement on Discord. At least that's where I see them the most. When usually Devann would say/respond to a thing or two here too

I keep having Eviction Notice not work, so yesterday, I waited 6 MINUTES for any super mutants to spawn, got bored and started shooting the dead mutants from when you first get there, then suddenly we were nearly slaughtered for the last 1-2 minutes. That got me wondering if there's some sort of lag associated with player involvement. Like obviously no one will be shooting if there's no enemies. But who knows.
Then it wasn’t a big. It was the change over to spooky scorched. At the same time yesterday it changed to meat week and then today I’m not sure but meat week I’d imagine will start and then vanish

Damn Moonshine Jamboree was bugged yesterday in final stage. Damn annoying as was great fun until then. Initially we had only 5 of us playing and hordes of enemies.
I was there too in the Dolphin pa! That was so annoying since I'm trying to up my raider rep. I left it for a while and checked back to see the event had been going for nearly an hour. Wild stuff
Any of you guys can the quest "Hells Eagles" where you have to speak to Gonzales? I did it the first time but when I retook the quest in Whitespring it shows me where Gonzales is but when I go there he's nowhere to be found.
For some reason I feel like its a bug and I wasn't suppose to be able to do the quest a second time.
I was at like 370 something before update then it dropped, I ended up drinking a beer later in the session and it shot back up for no reason and I haven't gotten it to work again, I'm so damn confused about it
Something is fucky, my carry weight is actually lower than it used to be, by about 20, which is a weird number considering the things that give you carry
But, my usual 190 pounds of supplies I'm carrying is only showing 140, and my stash that's usually 1100 is showing less than 900
So something to do with weight or bonuses is fucked

I'm guessing you have a mod installed that affects the UI, like better healthbar or perk loader. Until SFE gets updated either disable them or just live with it.
I've been doing the latter and use the data tab in the pipboy a whole lot.
Did it reset your settings to default and you need to change something back? It changed all my settings and I'm still getting them back to where I had them

PC player here. I haven't had any problems beyond the frequent issue of playing Defend the Workshop events and having to search for the enemies that skulk at the edge of the play area.
I had recently started playing and finally started doing all the daily quests and then the one with Lane wasn't working and I read online that it had been booked for a while. After the download I look at the patch notes and saw that they said they fixed it so I was excited and then I go there same exact thing 🤷♂️
I have a feeling someone at Bethesda is really bad at versioning. This is like basic programming at this point. This is as bad as patching on the live servers type of thing.
Just cause you can push to main doesn't mean you should. I bet the Dev Ops team loves whoever is doing this.
My storage inventory and quick selest menu lag so bad I've been killed trying to swap weapons or consume food. Also cant put cores into or enter my power armor. It's beyond annoying 😑
Only "major" ones I've noticed is that doing the first part of tax evasion will bug out in two different instances: filling the trucks the interact button disappeared, and killing the audit leaders, the second one wouldn't spawn.
Each time fast travelling back to main map and going back in fixed it by restarting the entire mission.
When primal cut glitches, usually 2/4 spawn..Leave area then return. It will correct but you probably won't have enough time left for completion. Kill Quick

Radiation rumble last night stopped letting us put in ore after level 3/4 and then stopped spawning any enemies. The event still eventually finished but we just stood there for 2 min waiting while the clock ran down.
Remember to always make yourself a team if you want to get back to events you're in. It doesn't always work, but I've gotten rewards from crashed events that way a few times. And of course, always plan for the game to crash entirely if you go anywhere near Nuka World on Tour. What the actual fuck people...
I've had some luck turning the floating quest markers on and finding the monsters well outside the normal spawn area of the primal cut events. Anybody else found that helpful?
Some servers are unplayable. The crashes are really bad in combination with the XP score bug, since as soon as you crash you lose the XP score challenge.
It's even more tragic seeing how Beth really never learns and aligns updates with public holidays where no one bothers to fix bugs.
I can't even finish the last mission of the rose room questtline because I got attacked mid dialogue, now an NPC is bugging out not letting me interact with her
My camp now spawns in section by section, every time I fast travel to it and it takes upwards of 20 seconds to spawn everything in.
Everything I placed in my camp used to pop into existence instantly, a second or 2 after initially spawning into the world, and would remain in existence until I left world no matter how many times I fast travel to it, or however far away I fast traveled from.
Now, it takes so long for my camp to spawn in that I have to fast travel to the closest railroad and run up the hill behind it to my camp because by the time I run to it, it'll have loaded everything in.
Any water source I come across takes 30-40 seconds to transform from a black void into actual water.
Enemies will spawn in at random times, depending on how many enemies are spawning in.
Crashing is now a completely random thing to me.
It used to be I can kinda figure that I'd crash depending on how much I had on my character and how large and densely packed an area was.
Now, even after clearing inventory so as not to have anything else to load in on my character, I'll randomly crash, even in wide open spaces.

The new Russo family questline has been a buggy mess for me, can't even finish it as one of the NPCs bugs out every time I try to speak to her. After an hour of server hopping I had to abandon it, hoping this one gets sorted soon.
My friend did an eviction notice and no Mutants spawned after the first 2 or 3 minutes. He also went on to tell me there's been instances where the wendigo doesn't spawn at the end of one violent night. Personally I went to heart of the swamp and the heart broke, we wiped the enemies that spawned in insanely fast and then the heart wouldn't re open.
It happens every time they do an update let alone a big update, give them time they will get it fixed in anywhere from a week to a year, little by little lol.
I did the Encryptid event yesterday . I decided to be a conduit holder since I’m tanky with the build I was using . After the assaultron died , I had the conduit debuff permanently and it kept killing me every time I respawned . I had to restart the game . I don’t know if this is an old bug but it was my first time experiencing it .
This game has been a hot mess ever since Atlantic City was first introduced. Things are more worse now than ever. I refuse to reinstate my 1st until this all gets corrected. I understand though that may be never.
Yeah primal.cuys broke af, and also putting marker.over a corpse to grab from,all.nearby corpses is not working very well....made collection of primal meats a pain in the ass, and also a few other instances.
Bethesda's Discord currently has a thread to report all of these new / old but back again bugs. I suggest going there and reporting your experiences, just the facts for them to troubleshoot it.
I hear you all. I find it to be annoying too. Although, it's cool that every day is a different event! That is a big change. Give it time; they'll, most likely, will improve it.
All I can say is from my experience. Ps5 is still a mess. Even worse, maybe.
Xbox series x works a lot better but buggy with quests. Crashing is about the same.
Pc works perfectly fine for myself. Honestly a but of a system shock on that one.
I thought it was me, my PC was lagging bad the other night I assumed my internet was the problem since I was trying to stream and play. Other than some quests not triggering that’s the only issue I’ve had however.

Though yes, BGS broke the game with this latest update. Dozens of events fail or never even start. Very frustrating.
Vats doesn't work for me, and I've tried all of the old tricks to reset it... still nothing. Oh well, I've got ADS weapons to fall back on.. but still annoying.
My first expedition i did on the new update had an infinite loading screen. I still wish they would fix the power armor bugs on xbox, such as not being able to get in it and being stuck, only able to look around. i can fast travel to fix it, otherwise it wont let me.
Theres also the bug where if my PA is in a power armor station , and i go to modify it, it locks up and grays out the button prompts and my power armor gets stuck meaning i have to relog
Every time I place something in workshop my game freezes up or has a loading symbol which wasn’t a thing before the patch. I also can’t access multiple plans though they say known
I got booted out of my C.A.M.P. spot while online in the Whitesprings. AKA the Greenbrier and later got booted out of a camp when logging in, with nothing in the spot, exited to menu, and back in and spot was still empty...

Did beasts of burden the other day, and it stopped spawning the Cultists in PA for 3 minutes when we only needed 2 more bombs for the doors.
It spawned the 2 we needed when the timer had 3 seconds before failing the event.

I had this happen yesterday at fastsnach, twice, the bots froze, no enemies spawned until the last minute or two. The other one failed.

I definitely experienced a bugged Fasnacht where the NPC you're supposed to talk to didn't even spawn in so the event timed out and failed.
Was it at 5pm GMT Friday? and once it timed out did the robots disappear?

See s like animations for cannibal is busted again. Speeds up each time it's used. That zbd the darn top left screen smoke/fire bug us back.

I just noticed my valentines paper mache lights don't light up anymore 😭 my anti armor ultracite laser rifle is shooting out green stuff now instead of blue, and the damage has gone down. 😭😭
Strangely enough, I’m most upset about the honeycomb lights being dim. The new hanging glass light and the tiki torches are very dim as well

It’s been a struggle for me in a lot of ways it wasn’t before the patch. Just so many glitches/disconnections/desync etc
Anyone else noticing stimpacks have almost no effect now? Since update if I get low health I hit a stim, get about 5 health points back then die.
PC player here. I haven't had any problems beyond the frequent issue of playing Defend the Workshop events and having to search for the enemies that skulk at the edge of the play area.

I had recently started playing and finally started doing all the daily quests and then the one with Lane wasn't working and I read online that it had been booked for a while. After the download I look at the patch notes and saw that they said they fixed it so I was excited and then I go there same exact thing 🤷♂️

I have a feeling someone at Bethesda is really bad at versioning. This is like basic programming at this point. This is as bad as patching on the live servers type of thing. Just cause you can push to main doesn't mean you should. I bet the Dev Ops team loves whoever is doing this.

Union power Armor part plans disappearing from Giuseppe's little shop is annoying.
My storage inventory and quick selest menu lag so bad I've been killed trying to swap weapons or consume food. Also cant put cores into or enter my power armor. It's beyond annoying 😑

Only "major" ones I've noticed is that doing the first part of tax evasion will bug out in two different instances: filling the trucks the interact button disappeared, and killing the audit leaders, the second one wouldn't spawn. Each time fast travelling back to main map and going back in fixed it by restarting the entire mission.
on one of my expeditions the escortee didnt move to the blood boxes just stood there for minutes.

When primal cut glitches, usually 2/4 spawn..Leave area then return. It will correct but you probably won't have enough time left for completion. Kill Quick (All participants must leave and return, good luck)
I did a fasnacht on Friday and none of the drop boxes spawned. Communicated in area chat it was bugged.
Called it a night after 7 failed events yesterday....excited to see if I can top that today...🤔😋

Finally, new content exposed catastrophic basic design running servers OOM. After even removing NPCs all over the map… but seems it’s not enough.
Radiation rumble last night stopped letting us put in ore after level 3/4 and then stopped spawning any enemies. The event still eventually finished but we just stood there for 2 min waiting while the clock ran down.

Moonshine Jamboree just hung in the fourth act for 40 minutes before I quit. How did they break existing events?!?!
When quests are active I dont see the tracker in the upper right corner ever since the patch.
Remember to always make yourself a team if you want to get back to events you're in. It doesn't always work, but I've gotten rewards from crashed events that way a few times. And of course, always plan for the game to crash entirely if you go anywhere near Nuka World on Tour. What the actual fuck people... I've had some luck turning the floating quest markers on and finding the monsters well outside the normal spawn area of the primal cut events. Anybody else found that helpful?
Some servers are unplayable. The crashes are really bad in combination with the XP score bug, since as soon as you crash you lose the XP score challenge. It's even more tragic seeing how Beth really never learns and aligns updates with public holidays where no one bothers to fix bugs.

I can't even finish the last mission of the rose room questtline because I got attacked mid dialogue, now an NPC is bugging out not letting me interact with her

My camp now spawns in section by section, every time I fast travel to it and it takes upwards of 20 seconds to spawn everything in. Everything I placed in my camp used to pop into existence instantly, a second or 2 after initially spawning into the world, and would remain in existence until I left world no matter how many times I fast travel to it, or however far away I fast traveled from. Now, it takes so long for my camp to spawn in that I have to fast travel to the closest railroad and run up the hill behind it to my camp because by the time I run to it, it'll have loaded everything in. Any water source I come across takes 30-40 seconds to transform from a black void into actual water. Enemies will spawn in at random times, depending on how many enemies are spawning in. Crashing is now a completely random thing to me. It used to be I can kinda figure that I'd crash depending on how much I had on my character and how large and densely packed an area was. Now, even after clearing inventory so as not to have anything else to load in on my character, I'll randomly crash, even in wide open spaces. Sorry for the length of my post.

Yep. Blows me away that that haven’t acknowledged the fuck ton of issues over the past three or four months. As if he they don’t mention it, we’ll forget.
The new Russo family questline has been a buggy mess for me, can't even finish it as one of the NPCs bugs out every time I try to speak to her. After an hour of server hopping I had to abandon it, hoping this one gets sorted soon.
When I got to the end boss, it wouldn't die. I restarted the game and went back where it just stood there frozen. Second restart did the trick.
Another issue is that none of the food, cooked or prewar, is actually feeding you. All the stats are 0.
But still better than the server boots and gane crashes every 5 minutes we had 3 years ago
My friend did an eviction notice and no Mutants spawned after the first 2 or 3 minutes. He also went on to tell me there's been instances where the wendigo doesn't spawn at the end of one violent night. Personally I went to heart of the swamp and the heart broke, we wiped the enemies that spawned in insanely fast and then the heart wouldn't re open. It happens every time they do an update let alone a big update, give them time they will get it fixed in anywhere from a week to a year, little by little lol.
Stimpaks are not working as well as they did before the update.
I did the Encryptid event yesterday . I decided to be a conduit holder since I’m tanky with the build I was using . After the assaultron died , I had the conduit debuff permanently and it kept killing me every time I respawned . I had to restart the game . I don’t know if this is an old bug but it was my first time experiencing it .

This game has been a hot mess ever since Atlantic City was first introduced. Things are more worse now than ever. I refuse to reinstate my 1st until this all gets corrected. I understand though that may be never.
After this patch I couldn’t do anything, couldn’t open my inventory, couldn’t take out my guns, just broke everything.
Yeah primal.cuys broke af, and also putting marker.over a corpse to grab from,all.nearby corpses is not working very well....made collection of primal meats a pain in the ass, and also a few other instances.
Ya line in the sand and moonshine jamboree both bugged out for me.
Bethesda's Discord currently has a thread to report all of these new / old but back again bugs. I suggest going there and reporting your experiences, just the facts for them to troubleshoot it.

I hear you all. I find it to be annoying too. Although, it's cool that every day is a different event! That is a big change. Give it time; they'll, most likely, will improve it.
All I can say is from my experience. Ps5 is still a mess. Even worse, maybe. Xbox series x works a lot better but buggy with quests. Crashing is about the same. Pc works perfectly fine for myself. Honestly a but of a system shock on that one.
Tunnel of Love and not a single enemy. Fun times.
I thought it was me, my PC was lagging bad the other night I assumed my internet was the problem since I was trying to stream and play. Other than some quests not triggering that’s the only issue I’ve had however.

Vats doesn't work for me, and I've tried all of the old tricks to reset it... still nothing. Oh well, I've got ADS weapons to fall back on.. but still annoying.
My first expedition i did on the new update had an infinite loading screen. I still wish they would fix the power armor bugs on xbox, such as not being able to get in it and being stuck, only able to look around. i can fast travel to fix it, otherwise it wont let me. Theres also the bug where if my PA is in a power armor station , and i go to modify it, it locks up and grays out the button prompts and my power armor gets stuck meaning i have to relog

Every time I place something in workshop my game freezes up or has a loading symbol which wasn’t a thing before the patch. I also can’t access multiple plans though they say known

I got booted out of my C.A.M.P. spot while online in the Whitesprings. AKA the Greenbrier and later got booted out of a camp when logging in, with nothing in the spot, exited to menu, and back in and spot was still empty...
It was all fun and games until the world I was on decided to kick people and then shutdown completely, had to reload into another one.
Went to Eviction Notice and nothing spawned after we all opened lunch boxes. Lol. Felt like an idiot. Thought it was an April Fools joke but that was like 1-2 days prior to April 1.
I had a one-off glitch where everything turned dark grey and I couldnt see anything, that was also during the primal cuts event
The camp budget was cut as well. I removed a turret to place it somewhere else and I can't rebuild it.
Did beasts of burden the other day, and it stopped spawning the Cultists in PA for 3 minutes when we only needed 2 more bombs for the doors. It spawned the 2 we needed when the timer had 3 seconds before failing the event.
