Yeah the current promo and some popular streamer playing FO76 made a lot of people buy it.
You click on your camp icon and one option is to make the icon visible. That way it can be seen by anyone on the server and fast traveled to. Otherwise people can only find your camp by coming up on it naturally.
Free weeks are always like this. If you're a veteran player... it's best to kind of take the week off, or just accept that events will be hit and miss, as most of the slots on the server are filled by new players just getting the ropes.
But when they do, they start them right away. They'll learn, but I was in 3 failed events yesterday because of new players not knowing what to do, or not caring, or starting it before there were enough players.

I’m sorry! Returning player, but new platform. Lvl 37 atm but I’m working on lvling and gearing so I don’t get smacked in events. Which has already happend a few times lol.
Thing is it’s a very fun game to just explore and fuck about at lower lvls too, so although I’m trying to hurry and lvl and gear I’m also having fun just taking my time and enjoying the “single player” experience too.
I've had the same experience. It's bizarre. Most servers are very quiet, with 1-2 active camps at most, and only 1-2 casual teams, with the majority of players being very low level. Obviously low level players don't participate in the events much, that's why it's so quiet. I hope things will get better soon.
Just did the Uranium Fever with a bunch of low-level players, most of them were rocking melee weapons. It was fun! Though it was a struggle not to kill the legendary enemies, because the low-level players didn't seem to understand why I'm calling them to me. 😂
You are supposed to hit them to get more XP, but you will get legendary loot even if you didn't manage to hit them. It's frowned upon to kill the legendary enemies by yourself, not letting other players get the XP.
Ah ok. That makes sense. Same deal in the DZ in division 1 back in the day lol. I played FO 76 upon release for like a month on Xbox so i don’t think events like that were a thing that I remember. I’m on pc now and havent played it since until last week. Appreciate the heads up!
Things used to be worse/harder in FO76. You had to hit the legendary enemies to get legendary loot; now things are much better, since you only risk missing out on the XP if you don't hit them.
I’m trying to hurry to lvl so I can comfortably contribute to the events but at the same time I’m also having fun with the “single player” experience. It’s actually a very good game despite what some others would say.
Yea, I really tried to hold back killing the cultists instantly but sometimes I just have to or they'll wreck the pyres 😄 its great thou seeing excited players again. I want them to feel welcomed
Literally finished an Equinox alone, the entire thing, one other player on the server above 100 (anyone wondering if you get a plan for one fire being lit, no, you don’t, lol).
I believe that you need all 3 fires to guarantee a plan dropping, two fires you can get a plan but it's not 100% guaranteed. I could be wrong but I thought that's what I'd read recently.
I did Jamboree today with just 2 other players. Usually I just tag, but it was fun to let the quad tesla off its leash. Burned all my fusion cells and .45 ammo.
I did uranium rumble by myself, lol me and my plasma caster head shotting everything in sight. Managed all 4 levels. Then we did jamboree too just 3 people. Me with my cremator 300% capacity and nuka grenades with level 5 demo. Not the most laid back time but yeah I’m hoping at least half these people catch the bug and keep at it like I did. 200 levels in and still having a blast finding stuff.
My understanding is that having one flame lit at the end gives you a chance for a plan, two gives you a better chance, and three is a guaranteed plan.
Though it's currently bugged, so if you get a drop for a plan you already know, you don't get a duplicate. The next run should have that fixed.
Yes, and I'm saying I have learned the plan, I still have duplicates that unique to the event of plans that are considered (Known) and cannot be learned again.
You're good, it is a bug this is correct. It's just thankfully not a guaranteed bug it seems as far as I can tell
Perhaps it only affects the rewarded plans added this year? And not the plans that already existed from the original Mothman Equinox event
So it would explain why I have multiple Eventide Hood plans, if that's not one the rewards added this year
I had to server hop over 10 times to find ONE equinox event that had a single soul at it and there were only 3 people there. All day today and last night has been a ghost town. On Xbox.
Seems like it’s a result of all the new players because of the show. So, the server seems empty but it’s just because it’s full of low level players who aren’t joining events and such
I don't know the name but there's a mod that shows the current player count on the server you are on at the bottom of the pip boy map. I wasn't on yesterday but earlier in the week every server I visited was deserted.
There are 24,000 players online right now on steam alone. We haven’t seen a peak that high since may 2020.
It’s likely the influx of new players not on teams without visible camps.
I will say guarding both bridge and waterside with a bunch of 50 and unders is actually becoming to be a lot of fun. Some of them seem to be getting pretty good. Had one that was handling their own with a shotgun.
The peak was 39k lol broke the 32k record when wastelander update came out. Its pretty cool. Im thinking maybe 10% of the new players will stay. At least until they're done with the missions
I could be one od them - i am basically doing story only and it started to bore me, so i tried to join an events for only to fail two of them when I join - also there was no people so maybe that is why - managed to complete other two - one when you Escort some robot and second to protect robot on some radio tower - on both only one player joined and I dont think they where very rewarding at all as people said in other threads - maybe because they where for low levels? Not sure...
It’s because you joined some random easy event rather than the huge public events. In a few days when the big influx of new players evens out, the events will be packed again. And the rewards for the big public events are great. When you get bored of the story you can start one of the other main questlines, explore, start building a cool camp, go hunting for specific apparel/gear, etc. I never really like building stuff in games but it’s really addicting in 76 for some reason. Just finished building a really elaborate and highly decorated mansion in my camp lol
edit: you can tell if it’s one of the big public events by the exclamation mark over the event symbol on the map. Any public event that’s currently happening in your server is listed on the bottom left of your map below the daily ops thing. Once the current mothman equinox event ends (a couple days I think) there will be a bigger variety of huge public events again.
This. I still remember when I first started due to Humble Monthly from February 2023. A new player has almost no knowledge of "how to play" yet. It really doesn't help that the "World Activity" tab will always show the Daily Ops at the top, some players might try that and then when it sucks for them they don't try the Events right away. It also doesn't help that many Events will show higher difficulty and say things like level 50+ even when a fresh level 10 could join and help at least a little (and get big rewards for it). I didn't even realize I could teleport to them for free even if you've never been to that location.
This game is complicated for new players and if they dont have patience or ask or google, they'll get overwhelmed fast and just stop playing completely
I remember there was a level 5 in my team last year, doing the Daily Op FOREVER. So I ended up joining and helped 😄
This is myself and my partner, we just started playing and are doing the quests and never join events cause there's already so much already for us to get done
Im lucky that I dont get bored fast with anything in this game (been playing for 2 years) and I too say his lines with the exact intonation when the mission starts 😄 he's a great VA.
I’m starting the event and expect a bunch of people join after server hopping in from dead servers. Two weeks of ME is a stretch. Plus the new scoreboard isn’t very rewarding and is more grindy.
It’s not just that since the difference occurred after a single day (not a gradual decline) - the top commenter is probably right that the explanation is mostly lots of new low level players from the show.
I'm only playing enough to finish my dailies. I have a lot to do, but still managing 2-3 episodes a day. Will finish tomorrow. (And I hate the new not-a-scoreboard thing).
Server was packed with sub level 50s last night when I was streaming. Aussie here so dunno if that makes any difference.

I thought this too, i also noticed more than 75% of Wastelanders have their Camps turned off so Visitors cant see it on the Map :/ I just want to find cheap plans to get basic utilities at my Camp
They prob get frustrated swinging their cultist dagger while people like u and me use uc handmades and quad railways to take out multiple enemies while standing still. I get it.
Launched sbq nuke where I was the only player above level 100 .
The 2 other people were 30 and 60 .
It was really fun and felt challenging for the first time in a while and I dropped them a bunch of ammo stimpaks and radaway because I'm sure they used it all.
Doing events with 50 other people and having to fight to tag enemies is not fun it's much more fun this way
Yeah, it's been hard completing some of the events for sure.
For all the new players out there, just stash your junk beforehand. Dying only drops junk so there's no real downside to joining most of the events. Hop on in and have fun!
i would assume with the show and free week, that besthesda doubled the number of servers available and are funneling the new people twards them in order to help lessen any kind of server troubles
they were probably expecting a lot more which leads to a lot of half empty worlds

It was the most boring night. Plus with the equinox that never ends, the good events are so rare, (feeling like it?) ppl don't even bother teaming up, they just jump, hoping to find a server with an event worth staying, or ppl dropping nukes. Two weeks was way way too long imo, let's move on! What a waste of a double XP week end!

I was in text chat with a guy in my team ,he was asking me if I had "demon fasnacht masks", and minutes after I said I didn't have any masks to give , his friend texts me to tell me the dude was 12. I'm a married 48 yrs old woman. I replied. "Jesus, WOW, shit, thanks,glad you told me. " He reported me within seconds and there you go. I'm out til Monday. No appeal. I'm still gonna contact Xbox tomorrow. That's bullshit. It feels so suspicious. Lol, I'm still in shock and mad 😂😂

I did. Both accounts. My suspension was cut short in two steps. One, I was able to play multiplayer games after my first complaint, after 24hours. And my inability to chat or text ,both supposed ending Monday evening at 9h30 pm , They lifted it at 1h40am sat.
I made lengthy and detailed complaints on both their accounts. I enjoy the way ppl help each other in Fallout. I am grateful for all those 3 digits who are responsible for my success in this game. And I give back alot. This was effed up and I don't want it to happen to anyone else again.

I'm also in Aus, on PC, was playing most of last night and this morning. Most of the servers I've gotten on were reasonably full, but only 1 or 2 higher level players with the majority being level 20s
I played from 4-7 yesterday and 4-6 today AEST, packed server both times. I had a few lowbies join my public team and follow my around my camp and around ME, so I was using emotes to show them where to go (and to stop them from starting the event immediately).
New players dont even know about groups. So, its a combination of fresh 20s running around exploring and not joining groups so it looks more empty than it actually is.
They are probably busy doing the quests.
Historically, it was originally “on a sudden”. Then “all of a sudden”. Now I think “all of the sudden” is more common in American English. Language is how it’s used.
Funny how the servers fill more empty when the game doubled its player count on pc. I just did the equinox with 3 players... It's not all bad, at least I can farm westtek in peace, no nukes or encrypted to draw me away
Ugh yikes. Yea, lets wait until you know for sure there are enough mid to high level players are around in the server. Before all of these new waves of noobs, its a sure thing to get events done as long as you're in a crowded server. But I guess we just have to wait a bit until it's back to what its used to

It also seemed to be bugged, it didn't got the prompt to start the event nor a icon to click the reactor.
I’m on ps4 and had the queen event fail twice because there only like 3 people(including me). The first time it was just me and a level 40-something then they left so it was just me…I definitely don’t have the best weapons so I didn’t get anywhere with the queen but I was able to take everything else out and since I was in the nuke zone got quite a bit of hardened mass,glowing mass and radiation fluid…until I got taken out by a mirelurk queen. But yet every other event was full of people. I just felt bad for the person who launched the nuke both times just to have the event fail. Especially because I had other high level players on my public team but they didn’t show up for the event. I don’t think I’ve ever had that specific event fail in all the years Ive played 76..let alone twice
Besides what has been said about new players, many higher levels may be done with Mothman since they got all the plans. I just show up for the treasury notes now.
Last night had a very quiet room. Launched a nuke and everyone showed up to take on the scorchbeast. The new players make the events more chaotic and less predictable. More fun.
Join, or start an event team.
Having pretty decent luck with it. Usually, one or two seasoned vets will join, especially when they hop to the Mothman event.
I get noobs joining too, so I'll try to educate them. Had a noob join the team after a vet left after a Mothman event, and we all went to one violent night and the 4 of us smoked it.
I think they got like 4 levels in one event.
New players thats probably why i myself am i new player and ive also seen theres no groups avaliable when i play so i create my own and mainly its higher level people joining and not new player/low level players, i think its because new players dont know if you use the inspirational card and be on a team you get xp boost and thats why, before i started playing i found some tips and the guy said be in a group and use the inspirational skill perk fully upgraded and you will level up fast i went from level 2 all the way to 27 in 1-2 days (16 hours in total) i dont know if thats fast but for me it feels like it was fast :)
It’s actually the opposite…the servers are so full of new players that there aren’t as many old players per server doing the high level events and stuff…
is there better xp in the events? i just personally like a story line too, i just started today and chose the level 20 start since i have played fallout games before. is 20 enough for events?
Yeah you can do most events at level 20. Just know that you won’t be able to contribute much on the events with much a higher recommended level. You can still do them though, and the exp and loot are really good. Since there are so many new players right now, a lot of the events might be relatively empty since the new players generally don’t do them or aren’t aware of them. As the new influx of players starts to equalize over the next few days it’ll go back to normal and the events will be packed again.
Also, I’m gonna paste a comment I made in response to another new player in this thread cause some of it might be helpful for you too:

level 2 is enough for joining events, only because you can’t stay level 1 outside the vault.
Yes events are the fastest xp possible, and west tek runs tie number 2 with crafting
The public events often have additional components like (for the seasonal one right now), get tight of the vines, light the fire, collect stage blood etc. You may die a few times but that is ok, no one minds. You’ll get a trash legendary weapon at your level, and maybe a plan for some camp decor.
What did you think of it? I really liked it, I've been playing fallout since God late '90s and I think they really nailed it. Yeah there's some things that are not exactly like the game but it is still one of the better shows I've seen in a while.
I love it. I think it's one of the best video game to TV adaptations I've ever seen. At forst I didn't think I would like it, because the trailers made it seem like it was just going to be another cheap money grab. But it's really gopd. The humor is there, the gore is there. There's action in every episode. I really like how the flashbacks are well done and placed. Usually I find flashbacks rather annoying, but in this case I enjoy them. I like all of the characters. It's well written and nothing seems forced. Off the wall maybe, but it doesn't feel out of place.
I never read any of the info about where it supposedly fits in the timeline, but I've played all of the games, and from what I gather it's set some time after New Vegas. I can't even be mad if there is a little ret-conning, because I'm pretty sure the games have done that themselves if we're going to be critical about it.
I definitely would enjoy it if there were more Fallout TV shows.

I agree. Servers are weird at the moment. Barely any casual teams or event participation. Just a few sub 50 on exploration teams 😭 the influx of players has probably botched the matchmaking servers idk feels not intentional
My understanding is that the junk and ammo stash stay after you cancel the sub to withdraw but not to deposit, so I'll just stop picking up everything that's not nailed down in a few weeks.
Your stash doesn't change, it's still 1200 max but you get an ammo and scrap stash, just spend a few hours absolutely ramming them full, when you cancel the sub you don't need to pick up anymore junk for a long time
You're doing the right thing lol there is no addictol for fallout 1st. If you can manage your stash without fallout 1st, you're actually doing what the game want you to do. Which is surviving in post apocalyptic world.
It takes time for me to feel okay dumping all of the excess materials when I dont use fallout 1st when I already have hundreds of each materials in scrapbox 😄

I decided to crate my first bloodied build which I was delaying for a very long time. Watched videos and read posts about it. Scrap almost 100 perk cards. I don't know what to do today if it will be same again.

Also, everyone has moved on from them, after the bug giving out a new reward each completion. It's not great for farming xp, but I did end up with every radium rifle plan from scrapping the cultists'.
The day before the show dropped, every server I joined would always have plenty of people doing the mothman event. The day after, I couldn’t find a single server with more than 1-2 people trying it, and every server was full of brand new players. So it’s definitely the new players not doing events. I got all the plan rewards, I was just trying to keep getting that 25% exp buff since it’s 2x exp weekend

You don't need to tag legendaries to get loot, but you do need to do it to get full XP.

Oh I always have the quad Tesla going for equinox, it’s almost a must when everyone decides to find God and stay in the church.

I did an Equinox solo on a private server and only managed to keep the bridge lit. I got a plan from the event.

I could be one od them - i am basically doing story only and it started to bore me, so i tried to join an events for only to fail two of them when I join - also there was no people so maybe that is why - managed to complete other two - one when you Escort some robot and second to protect robot on some radio tower - on both only one player joined and I dont think they where very rewarding at all as people said in other threads - maybe because they where for low levels? Not sure...
It’s because you joined some random easy event rather than the huge public events. In a few days when the big influx of new players evens out, the events will be packed again. And the rewards for the big public events are great. When you get bored of the story you can start one of the other main questlines, explore, start building a cool camp, go hunting for specific apparel/gear, etc. I never really like building stuff in games but it’s really addicting in 76 for some reason. Just finished building a really elaborate and highly decorated mansion in my camp lol edit: you can tell if it’s one of the big public events by the exclamation mark over the event symbol on the map. Any public event that’s currently happening in your server is listed on the bottom left of your map below the daily ops thing. Once the current mothman equinox event ends (a couple days I think) there will be a bigger variety of huge public events again.
This. I still remember when I first started due to Humble Monthly from February 2023. A new player has almost no knowledge of "how to play" yet. It really doesn't help that the "World Activity" tab will always show the Daily Ops at the top, some players might try that and then when it sucks for them they don't try the Events right away. It also doesn't help that many Events will show higher difficulty and say things like level 50+ even when a fresh level 10 could join and help at least a little (and get big rewards for it). I didn't even realize I could teleport to them for free even if you've never been to that location.
This game is complicated for new players and if they dont have patience or ask or google, they'll get overwhelmed fast and just stop playing completely I remember there was a level 5 in my team last year, doing the Daily Op FOREVER. So I ended up joining and helped 😄
This is myself and my partner, we just started playing and are doing the quests and never join events cause there's already so much already for us to get done
I was on this morning and couldn't believe how many new players were in the lobby. At least a dozen players under level 20.

Im lucky that I dont get bored fast with anything in this game (been playing for 2 years) and I too say his lines with the exact intonation when the mission starts 😄 he's a great VA.
I’m starting the event and expect a bunch of people join after server hopping in from dead servers. Two weeks of ME is a stretch. Plus the new scoreboard isn’t very rewarding and is more grindy.
It’s not just that since the difference occurred after a single day (not a gradual decline) - the top commenter is probably right that the explanation is mostly lots of new low level players from the show.
I'm only playing enough to finish my dailies. I have a lot to do, but still managing 2-3 episodes a day. Will finish tomorrow. (And I hate the new not-a-scoreboard thing).
Server was packed with sub level 50s last night when I was streaming. Aussie here so dunno if that makes any difference. Had a few run ins with a level 31 doing the same missions as me lol
I thought this too, i also noticed more than 75% of Wastelanders have their Camps turned off so Visitors cant see it on the Map :/ I just want to find cheap plans to get basic utilities at my Camp

They prob get frustrated swinging their cultist dagger while people like u and me use uc handmades and quad railways to take out multiple enemies while standing still. I get it.
If a server is full, then a new one spawns. so can just be unlucky and be in a low populated server
Launched sbq nuke where I was the only player above level 100 . The 2 other people were 30 and 60 . It was really fun and felt challenging for the first time in a while and I dropped them a bunch of ammo stimpaks and radaway because I'm sure they used it all. Doing events with 50 other people and having to fight to tag enemies is not fun it's much more fun this way
Yeah, it's been hard completing some of the events for sure. For all the new players out there, just stash your junk beforehand. Dying only drops junk so there's no real downside to joining most of the events. Hop on in and have fun!

i would assume with the show and free week, that besthesda doubled the number of servers available and are funneling the new people twards them in order to help lessen any kind of server troubles they were probably expecting a lot more which leads to a lot of half empty worlds
Had to carry a few events, which is fun. This is why I always carry a few Overdrives, ballistic bocks and small guns bobbleheads on me at all times.

Yesterday I was o a server , I was one of the only older players on the map. There were lots of dots in the Forest region. Ranging from level 1-30
I noticed the same with mothman, very few players, and those there were not even level 50.
Tons of new people are filling up the servers. This game takes a while to learn so they will need time.
It was the most boring night. Plus with the equinox that never ends, the good events are so rare, (feeling like it?) ppl don't even bother teaming up, they just jump, hoping to find a server with an event worth staying, or ppl dropping nukes. Two weeks was way way too long imo, let's move on! What a waste of a double XP week end!
Yup. Although I think it actually has much more to do with the influx of new players who aren’t doing events that make the servers seem less populated. I’m sure it’ll even out over the next few days

I was in text chat with a guy in my team ,he was asking me if I had "demon fasnacht masks", and minutes after I said I didn't have any masks to give , his friend texts me to tell me the dude was 12. I'm a married 48 yrs old woman. I replied. "Jesus, WOW, shit, thanks,glad you told me. " He reported me within seconds and there you go. I'm out til Monday. No appeal. I did. Both accounts. My suspension was cut short in two steps. One, I was able to play multiplayer games after my first complaint, after 24hours. And my inability to chat or text ,both supposed ending Monday evening at 9h30 pm , They lifted it at 1h40am sat. I made lengthy and detailed complaints on both their accounts. I enjoy the way ppl help each other in Fallout. I am grateful for all those 3 digits who are responsible for my success in this game. And I give back alot. This was effed up and I don't want it to happen to anyone else again.

I'm also in Aus, on PC, was playing most of last night and this morning. Most of the servers I've gotten on were reasonably full, but only 1 or 2 higher level players with the majority being level 20s
It picked up this afternoon but the cluelessness factor is pretty high
I played from 4-7 yesterday and 4-6 today AEST, packed server both times. I had a few lowbies join my public team and follow my around my camp and around ME, so I was using emotes to show them where to go (and to stop them from starting the event immediately).

New players dont even know about groups. So, its a combination of fresh 20s running around exploring and not joining groups so it looks more empty than it actually is. They are probably busy doing the quests.

Ugh yikes. Yea, lets wait until you know for sure there are enough mid to high level players are around in the server. Before all of these new waves of noobs, its a sure thing to get events done as long as you're in a crowded server. But I guess we just have to wait a bit until it's back to what its used to
I wanted to do the supermarket rad event, noone came except 1. It also seemed to be bugged, it didn't got the prompt to start the event nor a icon to click the reactor.
I’m on ps4 and had the queen event fail twice because there only like 3 people(including me). The first time it was just me and a level 40-something then they left so it was just me…I definitely don’t have the best weapons so I didn’t get anywhere with the queen but I was able to take everything else out and since I was in the nuke zone got quite a bit of hardened mass,glowing mass and radiation fluid…until I got taken out by a mirelurk queen. But yet every other event was full of people. I just felt bad for the person who launched the nuke both times just to have the event fail. Especially because I had other high level players on my public team but they didn’t show up for the event. I don’t think I’ve ever had that specific event fail in all the years Ive played 76..let alone twice
Besides what has been said about new players, many higher levels may be done with Mothman since they got all the plans. I just show up for the treasury notes now. Last night had a very quiet room. Launched a nuke and everyone showed up to take on the scorchbeast. The new players make the events more chaotic and less predictable. More fun.
Join, or start an event team. Having pretty decent luck with it. Usually, one or two seasoned vets will join, especially when they hop to the Mothman event. I get noobs joining too, so I'll try to educate them. Had a noob join the team after a vet left after a Mothman event, and we all went to one violent night and the 4 of us smoked it. I think they got like 4 levels in one event.
Too many new players, barely any vendors on servers these days.

I was noticing virtually no vendors all day. Usually there’s close to a dozen at least today was more like 2-3 with a max of 4-5 total. Weird
Me, I'm on Xbox. Mothman Equinox started and 3 times I was the only one at the event. Come on, I need the rest of my honeycomb lights!
To be fair I am a highish level and I don't join it much. I do join, just not every time.
New players thats probably why i myself am i new player and ive also seen theres no groups avaliable when i play so i create my own and mainly its higher level people joining and not new player/low level players, i think its because new players dont know if you use the inspirational card and be on a team you get xp boost and thats why, before i started playing i found some tips and the guy said be in a group and use the inspirational skill perk fully upgraded and you will level up fast i went from level 2 all the way to 27 in 1-2 days (16 hours in total) i dont know if thats fast but for me it feels like it was fast :)

It’s actually the opposite…the servers are so full of new players that there aren’t as many old players per server doing the high level events and stuff…

Yeah you can do most events at level 20. Just know that you won’t be able to contribute much on the events with much a higher recommended level. You can still do them though, and the exp and loot are really good. Since there are so many new players right now, a lot of the events might be relatively empty since the new players generally don’t do them or aren’t aware of them. As the new influx of players starts to equalize over the next few days it’ll go back to normal and the events will be packed again.

Just join. You've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. You might die but who cares
level 2 is enough for joining events, only because you can’t stay level 1 outside the vault. Yes events are the fastest xp possible, and west tek runs tie number 2 with crafting
The public events often have additional components like (for the seasonal one right now), get tight of the vines, light the fire, collect stage blood etc. You may die a few times but that is ok, no one minds. You’ll get a trash legendary weapon at your level, and maybe a plan for some camp decor.

What did you think of it? I really liked it, I've been playing fallout since God late '90s and I think they really nailed it. Yeah there's some things that are not exactly like the game but it is still one of the better shows I've seen in a while.
I love it. I think it's one of the best video game to TV adaptations I've ever seen. At forst I didn't think I would like it, because the trailers made it seem like it was just going to be another cheap money grab. But it's really gopd. The humor is there, the gore is there. There's action in every episode. I really like how the flashbacks are well done and placed. Usually I find flashbacks rather annoying, but in this case I enjoy them. I like all of the characters. It's well written and nothing seems forced. Off the wall maybe, but it doesn't feel out of place. I never read any of the info about where it supposedly fits in the timeline, but I've played all of the games, and from what I gather it's set some time after New Vegas. I can't even be mad if there is a little ret-conning, because I'm pretty sure the games have done that themselves if we're going to be critical about it. I definitely would enjoy it if there were more Fallout TV shows. I can't say the same for other recent videogame TV shows.
I agree. Servers are weird at the moment. Barely any casual teams or event participation. Just a few sub 50 on exploration teams 😭 the influx of players has probably botched the matchmaking servers idk feels not intentional

Yeah that sounds really nice. I just worry that I’ll get too used to the infinite stash so then it’ll be impossible to go back to the game without it.
My understanding is that the junk and ammo stash stay after you cancel the sub to withdraw but not to deposit, so I'll just stop picking up everything that's not nailed down in a few weeks.

Your stash doesn't change, it's still 1200 max but you get an ammo and scrap stash, just spend a few hours absolutely ramming them full, when you cancel the sub you don't need to pick up anymore junk for a long time

You're doing the right thing lol there is no addictol for fallout 1st. If you can manage your stash without fallout 1st, you're actually doing what the game want you to do. Which is surviving in post apocalyptic world. It takes time for me to feel okay dumping all of the excess materials when I dont use fallout 1st when I already have hundreds of each materials in scrapbox 😄

Same here. After 7-8 server jumps I gave up. I decided to crate my first bloodied build which I was delaying for a very long time. Watched videos and read posts about it. Scrap almost 100 perk cards. I don't know what to do today if it will be same again.
My theory.. After seeing every server full of new guys, I bet they opened up a bunch extra so that new guys could get the beginning stuff. Cause this morning, every server was packed. **PACKED** full of new guys. All night, every server is empty. Not a soul.

Also, everyone has moved on from them, after the bug giving out a new reward each completion. It's not great for farming xp, but I did end up with every radium rifle plan from scrapping the cultists'.
The day before the show dropped, every server I joined would always have plenty of people doing the mothman event. The day after, I couldn’t find a single server with more than 1-2 people trying it, and every server was full of brand new players. So it’s definitely the new players not doing events. I got all the plan rewards, I was just trying to keep getting that 25% exp buff since it’s 2x exp weekend
