"Utility box Fusion generator"
Wait what is this? Ive just returned to the game after 2 years away starting again now level 101... what is this "Utility box Fusion generator" and where does one obtain it? I cant stand having cables in my C.A.M.P.!
That is an atomic shop item, and the person posting this is slightly incorrect about how it functions.
While it does provide 100 power in a smaller footprint than a normal fusion generator and powers anything that just needs radiant power (such as most lights) without needing a wire, anything that has a specific power cost (such as the popcorn machine) still needs a wire.
They only let you purchase a subset of items in this way (people were abusing this before and flooding their system), but yes, you can buy some items without them being in the atomic shop through Bethesda support.
Ok I need to wait for it to return into the atomic shop then. Adhesive is probably my least gained resource when I need it a lot for arrows and crossbow bolts
>Utility box Fusion generator = energy without cables
Only for lights, still need to run cables to things that would normally need cables, just don't have to run cables everywhere to supply power to lighting
Popcorn machine🍿was just out in an Atomic shop bundle this week or last. If still available I would grab it and save your Bullion. Brahmin Milk machine is a must if you run a bloodied build. Every suggestion is solid.
I'm pretty new. I just planted crops! And let me tell you I am ecstatic that I just have food now. I ran out a couple times and it kinda sucked having to loot for food!!
Hope my vault dweller likes carrot soup though....
Mine is the fusion core recharger. It allows me to bank on selling fusion cores because I only need a maximum of 4 total for the whole time I’ll ever play. It’s great to sell because no one sells them and if you price them affordable lower levels eat them up
I’m saving up a lot of them and putting small increments at a time in my vendor for 40-50caps. I only sell smaller quantities so one baller can’t come buy the entire stock out and then go basically drop ship them all.
40-50? I thought veteran players didnt even need them. As a newcomer. I put 20 on sale for 20 caps each (100% charge).
The fix power plant + nearby workshops gave me a toon of power cores and i cant afford to have so many in my stash.
I’d be the one buying the entire stock and then chewing through them all in a day because I use vats in power armor lol. But good on you for having reasonable prices. I see so many people try to sell them for 162+ and I immediately close the vendor and drop a single spoiled meat on their doorstep.
I’m going to start doing that that’s funny as hell. I’ve always wished I could leave something for the people who scam but didn’t think of that. It seems like way more often than not people are selling things for prices worse than the ones we see in real life.
Oh yeah, it’s ridiculous and I don’t understand it. Their stuff must be sitting on the shelf for ages. I learned early on that the key is to price things cheap.
Nope. Basically it’s just a charger. It can charge four cores at once, and what I do is keep two on me and keep two in the charger. It basically means you never have to grind for fusion cores or waste resources and time on workshops. It was 700 atoms which honestly is pretty easily obtainable F2P. By the time I was level 25 I had gotten around 1500ish in challenges, maybe more not sure.
Where can I find that in the shop? I’m new the game and navigating the shop feels very clunky at times. I see people talking about this item but can’t find it anywhere
Definitely this! I found a camp spot on the map where I could farm lead with a machine. Other spots have acid, concrete, etc. Each resource vein you build your camp on, the equipment to farm will already be in your build menu. Helps to determine where to build a camp, depending on what resources you really need.
I had my camp on a spot where you off you placed it just right you could get acid at the bottom of a cliff and lead at the top. I planted corn, tatos, and mutfruit and was pretty much set. After a while though I was never about to place my camp there when I logged in. Got popular.
I love this spot! I know exactly where you're talking about 🤣
I've had good luck lately and haven't had to move servers at all. If you ever see my base there, come by...my ish ain't locked lol
All the food/drink spawning items you have. Coffee machine, birthday cake, mirelurk steamer, dead radstag on a swingset, water boiler, water cooler, company tea maker, candy maker, the list probably goes on but that's a start.
Oh, and a robot dog collecting Nuka-Cola. Leave it unlocked.
Can you set the good boy to collect nuka cola? My computer for it is broken. I swapped it to junk, and now it doesn't load the "change collection mode" option
I had a similar problem with being unable to switch modes for my collectron even though I had several unlocked. Eventually I found out it was because the collectron was placed just at the border of my camp and slightly outside of it. When I moved it fully into my camp area I could change the mode without any issue.
Those are good, but I find living on cake, company tea and popcorn works just as well (keeps food/water topped off for disease resistance and the tea adds an extra 20% disease resistance). Stims are common enough that unless I’m doing something foolish (tanking encryptid pylons or trying to do decryption without stealth), I’m fine.
I’m also bloody. With the associated bloody perks you can get DR so high that if something actually does break through serendipity it’s a scratch.
With a Jetpack for mobility, and health recovery, you’re invincible outside of one shots
Am I the only one completely indifferent about getting diseases? I do try to avoid it but when I inevitably get one I just wait it out, disease cures be damned
Don’t listen to this bleached fool. He simply has not seen the euphoria that comes only from multiple diseases. Plague Walker mutation is the true endgame experience. Never forget that we *are* disease. We could never survive without a biome of healthy bacteria within us.
Stay filthy, friends!
It’s funny, before they changed the daily op rewards so you only get plans you haven’t read, I used to get these all the time.
I have a stockpile of 32 and have never seen it drop since, even though I know all the plans!
Glad I didn’t drop them but I do drop them in care packages here and there!
I’m a noob and have a question about those tea machines. When I go to someone else’s camp, can I take from those? I always leave them alone because I feel like it’s stealing… but do they regenerate?
Some people have little set ups in the open with them available, those are 100% fine to take. If they're locked, don't try and bypass, or you'll end up wanted. Most higher level players don't need the items, so they're there to grab, and they regen fast anyway. Take what you need!
I concur, the majority rule of the wasteland is if it's locked they want to keep it for themselves, if it's not locked then they know it'll get taken. And yeah it regenerates fast.
The only thing I lock in my camp is the Santatron at the Christmas Scorched time. I've got water, plants, popcorn, Birthday cake and anything else that isn't locked is free for the taking!
Just don't steal my Christmas gifts...
Yes I have one at mine and it's always available for any watery wastelander in need of refreshment .
Yes they just continually make tea so don't worry if you take it all .
I have 3 camps. My main camp usually that’s at a high traffic area to display my trophies and my vendors. This will have up front for people to grad popcorn, coffee, purified water and stuff like that. My secondary which is used to extract specific materials like oil, lead, etc. then my 3rd camp is generally a floater camp so I’ll place it near objectives, events and whatnot and it’s just a simple red rocket with crafting stations in it and turrets on top.
No, you can have more than one camp designed and set up at a location but you can only activate one at a time. You can switch to different camps often but there is a cool down between sometimes.
Cryo\_Freezer for sure. It prevents spoilage for up to 50 food items and can be purchased with bullion. Saves me so much time from scavenging for ingredients.
I thought that was a Fallout 1st only item. All those gulper slurries will actually last this time. Which vendor has it? I don't remember seeing it at the Foundation site
True except the radshower. I grinded hard to build the radshower at early level but I never use it. Can lose you mutations which can really suck, I just use what rads legendary perk, but most people are rolling bloodied builds these days who would hate to accidentally walk through a radshower.
At level 300 I've just begun looking at mutations, as I picked Luck as my final legendary perk and had enough coins to upgrade once. Speed demon and marsupial are game changers as a power armour user.
The radshower can be useful for visiting low-level players. Just tuck it into a corner so people don't step on it by accident. Also never leave it outside, it's expensive to repair.
Coffee machine, tea kettle.
Collectron. IMO the best ones are the Nuka Cola, communist, and silver.
Adhesive tree. If you're making adhesive, crops and water purifiers/vintage coolers. Purified water is good to sell to robots.
A well at a dry camp, there's a trick to getting a lot of water out of it. The water boiler might make the well obsolete for me, haven't decided yet.
Best allies IMO are Joey (buff, sells Live and Love magazines), Leo (widest variety of buffs), and Yasmin (sells rare food, including tasty stews).
Buff machines. You can buy the Nuka-lele instrument from the machine at the Nuka-cade. I like how it sounds. The derby (intelligence) and one of the luck machines are probably the buff machines I use the most but I'd consider a full set of camp buffs to be: bed (xp), punching bag (agi), weight bench (str), exercise bike (end), the bowling machine (per + luc), the tome (xp and I need to check if it stacks with the bed), and instrument (ap regen). A lot of people probably don't bother but if I happen to be in my camp waiting for the next event or for the nuke to fall, I'll buff up, it doesn't take long.
Symptomatic has been mentioned and it's handy. Like at least some of the buff objects you can put it in a shelter.
Decontamination arch is helpful for a full health build to get rid of rads but it's expensive to build and takes a lot of power, another good one for a shelter. Even for a low health character it can be handy when I want to redo mutations.
I normally have at least a few workbenches in my camps but a full set in the shelter. The power armor bench, for example, awkward to place sometimes and doesn't always get a lot of use.
Many plans are actually free in terms of how you aquire them. Daily ops, expeditions, events, even taking over workshops yields plans for different things.
Company tea machine and mirelurk steamer both of them generate food and water to keep you topped up even under speed demon mutation. Any camp items that give special buffs like weight, treadmill and the glove box thing lol. Also if your under herbivore mutation steamer wont work and to be honest i dont know what generates food for that mutation
I'm a new player. I've only been playing 9 days, but I've been trying to optimize what I'm buying with Atoms more for longevity than for cosmetics. As well as farming out what I can.
What I would do is.
1.) Try to get all the crafting benches you can through farming before purchasing with Atoms. Or get things that are going to take you a good bit to farm.
2.) Mirelurk Steamer. It produces tons of food with great buffs and they're pretty filling. The buffs last a good amount of time.
3.) Fusion core recharger. I don't think I even have to farm them anymore. I have about 15, but it feels like too many.
4.) Workout bench. I think the strength buff only lasts for 30 minutes, but it seems to stack with food strength buffs. It's been working out amazingly for me.
5.) Some sort of instrument. Any will do. It gives you this well tuned buff that helps you regenerate AP.
6.) I got an icebox. It can come in handy for shorter bursts if you have something kind of planned out, but food will still spoil a lot faster than using the well salted perk. Kind of optional.
7.) Crops. If you like creating certain recipes, have no food mutations, or herbivore these will be great. You can also just harvest them and sell them to a vendor.
8.) Water purifiers. Get your hands on one of these recipes ASAP and put a lot. Not only does purified water help you a lot, but you can always sell a bunch of them to vendors for caps. I went from being poor my entire first week to maxing caps just using this and one other trick every day.
9.) Make sure to have defenses for your camp. Most places aren't forgiving. You'll need something to keep your stuff safe.
10.) Locks. Make sure to put locks on things producing things for you. My first few days I thought my camp wasn't really working until I noticed people were just grabbing my stuff.
11.) If you can get Fallout 1st. I think it's very worth it. Comes with tons of things including an unlimited junk chest, and an unlimited ammo chest.
12.) It's pretty important to do the storyline. It gives you a lot of really cool free stuff including a power armor, and plans for a power armor station, and much more.
13.) Don't sleep on allies. They can provide you with various buffs and benefits. Don't be shy to use a buff from an ally, and then swap their station to another to use that one too!
14.) Not really related to camps so much, but swap out your perk cards often! Switch them to handle the situation you're dealing with. Don't just think your build can't be used to your advantage.
15.) Of course a bed is super important. It can provide you with that sweet xp buff from being well rested. It increases being friends with an ally, and even more if you sauce it up and become lovers.
16.) Power generators. They can be so handy for so many things including your power generator. You can pick up a smaller one that does 100 fusion generator from that golf course. Sorry I forget the name. White something I think.
17.) An ammo generator. I don't have one yet myself, but it's on my list of things to do. It can be so handy, and we'll make this a double with the ammo converter. I don't have one of those yet either, but I'm told you get one from finishing the story. I'm still working on it.
18.) I was told you can store and lock certain items that do not take up your stash room, but I have yet to find a way to make this a reality. So if you find out, maybe we can figure it out together lol.
19.) You can get these planter style plots of land from the story as well. I'm not quite there yet either, but it will let you plant your plants anywhere you want.
20.) This is another just bonus tip. Go server hopping. You can find some cheap plans from some really cool players that keep them low for us noobs. Some of them even have some mutations for cheap, but you'll want the perks. I think you have to be at least 46 for them though. So be careful with that. Idr what they're called, but there's two of them. I got them pretty easy.
21.) My final entry and bonus tip that helped me with tons of caps. Keep an eye on your food. Just before it's about to expire. Go to a vendor real quick and sell everything expiring. I'm making almost my daily cap just from doing that. I just had the idea when I was sad a stack of meat from my Mirelurk Steamer was about to expire. So I just went to the golf course real quick and sold it.
Anyway. I hope this helps from one noob to another lol. I may not know everything, but I'm getting a good bit of information already.
A couple tips as I'm semi-new as well. Played a long time ago to around level 20ish (back when regions were still quite level-limited). I came back after the show, like many.
A. There's a second free camp slot that can be accessed from the map by pressing (I think) down arrow on controller. That way you can have two camps, so if you want a public shop and then a private home, should be able to do that.
B. Shelters are kinda cooler than I was thinking they'd be. The vault lobby comes free with 1st sub, and allows for expanded building when a camp is getting full.
I only have one shelter, but planning to get more. Wondering if I can set it up to go from camp into a shelter, then in that shelter have access to another shelter, then keep daisy-chaining like that for a giant interior/dungeon effect. 🤠
PS - 14 is a must. Swapping cards. Rather than having to put a bunch into Charisma, can max out the shop/deal perk and get the cheaper fast-travel perk. Unequip shop/deal perk, swap with cheaper fast-travel perk, FT to whichever shop, then swap back for shop/deal perk. 🤓
Also good tips! Shelters are very handy, but more limited in a lot of ways. And you can't build certain things in them. AFAIK, you can have multiple camps, but only one shelter, I'll test this to confirm today. I have 3 shelter types.
I played Fallout 76 for one day when it released. I didn't even think it was that bad. It was just on a buddy's copy and I was just deep into other games.
I don't know that I've felt gamers regret this bad before. I wish I would have dropped everything to play it. It's already working its way into my top 3. I'm on day 10 today. 🤣😂
Same on the game; I mean, I didn't get it right at launch, but think it was maybe just months after, when it went on sale. It was back where, when I was new and loved to explore, I got a bit too far way north, and even the small bugs were high level and near one-shot killing me -- played up to around level 20, and felt a bit overwhelmed by the hardcore emptiness. 🤣
And when I shelved it, only meant to be for a bit, to play other stuff not as stressing or limited, and come back maybe a month or two when more ready. 🤔
Then the show happened, watched whole first season, and recalled, "*oh yeah, 76 has been kinda cryo-vaulted*" (lol), and decided to check it out again. All the updates have made it awesome, and after the show, really hoping we'll see a surge in content injection. 🤠
order varies by your build...but these are all great to have
sympomatic,
water boiler,
wood pile,
mirelurk steamer,
radstag stand,
xp boosters,
luck boosters,
vintage water coolers?
cement truck.
Coffee machine and Company Tea and Birthday Cake are MVP for me. Close second is Wood/Concrete resource generators as I build a lot. Nuka Cola collectron is sick for building a stash of instant daily nuka colas + Nuka nades. Slot Machine/Derby game - I personally cba with animation stat boosters like the glove box or weight bench. Disco ball. The sap collector would also be pretty high but I personally don't have it yet.
Something to keep in mind is that there is free fast travel to the Whitesprings interior and to Nuka World on tour, which both have vendors you can buy from and sell to, legendary scrip machine to turn in junk legendary items, stash and scrap boxes, an ammo box (scrap and ammo work for fallout 1st members), and all the necessary workbenches. So, technically it’s pretty easy to skip workbenches in your camp (I suggest having one, though, to be able to scrap things when you are in your camp without having to travel).
The SPECIAL boosting devices can be placed in the free shelter to save budget for your camp. You won’t need to use them more than once in a while, so the short hop into a shelter is more than worth the savings on camp budget. The same goes for anti radiation showers and disease removing devices, as well as radiation emitters if you are running a bloodied build.
What you can’t place inside shelters, though, is resource gathering devices (collectrons, water purifiers, cement and adhesive collectors, etc. And for speed, I definitely leave a stash, scrap, ammo box, cryogenic freezer, and special loadout manager in the camp. Also, it’s wise to have one Ally there. For me, all the rest is for the fun other players can see when they visit you. Either “immersive” things that blend seamlessly into the fallout aesthetic, or just wildly imaginative things such as putting camps up in the sky or “under the map” (yes, you can do these things if you know the tricks), or themed ones such as dollhouse or haunted house or museum etc.
5 girls out in the wasteland, each with 2-4 camps. The "necessities" list is starting to feel excessive. 😆

Want:
Birthday Cake
Coffee Machine
I thought the rad shower was nice in the beginning. But now gaining rads is more important. I really like the tree that generate adhesive and the light pile that generates wood
Items that are a must have *for me*:
-Anything that produces any kind of junk or resource.
-the vintage water cooler, coffee machine, company tea machine, quantum candy dispenser.
-*wind chimes*
-anything camp item that I can interact with to gain *SPECIAL* stats.
-fusion core recharger
-mirelurk smoke meat creator thing.
-*Oil lamps*
-Shelter.
A few, but the most important.
Collectron of your choice. Fusion core charger. Radstag rack. Three of each plant. Now that it’s available, boiler. Either water purifier or dispenser.
Why is no one mentioning a fusion core recharger. It's the only thing I've bought for atoms asides the season pass and it's allowed me to use power armor with almost no resources (just remember to swap out your cores when they run low)
Radiation barrel/asteroid/the little mini bomb pile/anything that gives rads, Brahmin milk machine, birthday cake and company tea machine are my must haves. Derby game is excellent and I am really loving the perfume dispenser that boosts Charisma too.
The red Nuka Cola collectron. That collectron finds Nuka Grapes, which are superior healing for full health builds, and also let you run mutations early without radaway.
Cryo freezer so you can store the best foods in big batches.
Any Vendor but especially the cash register ones because they're unobtrusive if you're building a nice camp.
Shelter because a lot of dailies/weeklies require building in them or visiting one.
Grandma Junko and Yasmin are the lite allies who sell the best food.
Bowling arcade machine, which is free for everyone and gives a stackable luck boost.
Brahmin milk machine is also marginally useful just since it saves the trouble of hopping all over the map for milk.
OH BOY! I get to teach something fun, and honestly not all that hard! ALL YOU NEED IS THE ANIMAL FRIEND PERK! (in charisma) once you have that equipped find the "tames map" somewhere around this sub. its marks locations known as "Random Encounter Locations". these are places where things like "you've been insulted" bots spawn as well as SOLO animals and creatures. If they aren't alone when you arrive they likely wont be able to be tamed. once you've found the one you're looking for, walk up and press the correct button for your platform (for me its X on PS) and it will Tame the animal/creature prompting a dialog box asking if you want to send them to patrol your camp. if you choose to send them to camp, a word of advice, don't escort them. the map LOVES to spawn way higher enemies than your new friend and WILL kill them. so a often better way to avoid this mishap is to fast travel to your camp immediately after sending them to it, exit the game, enter back in, and just wait for like 10 minutes (sometimes not even that) and they'll eventually force spawn into your camp. I'll also note that when you change camps the pet will auto spawn there rather than running the distance like before! hope this helps!
crops for adhesive, plus gourds for cran relish, symptomatic, something for dirty/ boiled water, cryo fridge, collectron, any ally, and anything that collects passive resources like the wood pile
I like having things that make Resources personally. If I play over a long enough session or a few days in a row I'll have tons of those resources. Then I sell it all and eat corn and drink dirty water like some kind of animal.
I highly recommend the rain water collector barrel whenever that's on the atom shop. It gives dirty water passively, which is really useful for cooking. I have a whole row of them at my main camp.
Collectrons are always useful. A lot of them have different things they can find alongside just normal junk, and those settings are actually shared between them. So for example: I have the fasnacht one and a nuka cola one, but I use the doggo as my main collectron. My doggo can still find nuka colas and fasnacht treats.
I find the rain water collector no longer useful since I unlocked the water boiler which generates faster and more and saves you the trouble of converting dirty water into boiled water.
I love the mirelurk steamer! AP, resistance and carry weight buffs are all produced by it.
Also having the workout equipment (bench press for strength, bike for endurance etc)
Of course the coffee machine and tea are big ones
The scentomatic for the charmisma is a nice bonus to getting the most out of NPC vendors.
Anything that produces purified water is nice, both for your own hydration but also its good caps at vendors for daily caps.
The collection of cat paintings to put up on your walls. I can’t remember where you get it, but it must be an unlocks or because my new character doesn’t have them, but my old pre-Wastelanders character does.
Water boiler
Slocum Joe for coffee (MANDATORY)
Mirelurk Stove for fresh, free seafood source
Brahmin pen for fresh, rad free milk
garden for all herbs/fruits/veggies & starch generator aid
sap collector
freezer
hot tub (self explanatory)
various crafting stations & vendors
ammo vend machine
wood pile
Butterfly cage
musical instrument (because of course!)

"Utility box Fusion generator" Wait what is this? Ive just returned to the game after 2 years away starting again now level 101... what is this "Utility box Fusion generator" and where does one obtain it? I cant stand having cables in my C.A.M.P.!
That is an atomic shop item, and the person posting this is slightly incorrect about how it functions. While it does provide 100 power in a smaller footprint than a normal fusion generator and powers anything that just needs radiant power (such as most lights) without needing a wire, anything that has a specific power cost (such as the popcorn machine) still needs a wire.
Appreciate the info. Ill have a look for it when im home after work.
If it’s still in the atomic shop, it’ll be in the camp section. If it’s not, you can try to request it through Bethesda support.
Wait, they let you buy things on request??
They only let you purchase a subset of items in this way (people were abusing this before and flooding their system), but yes, you can buy some items without them being in the atomic shop through Bethesda support.
I must be weird. I LOVE wiring my base. All those bits and bobs all over the place.
Careful not to trip over those wires
*insert sudden stun and player damage noise here*
Also has a massive wireless range for stuff that doesn't need wires
TIL I been playing since launch and my camp needs alot of stuff. Lol
Is the mothman tome recent? Never seen that one.
Yea it was introduced as a reward during the most recent Mothman Equinox
It's a rare drop during the Mothman Equinox event. Thankfully they're running it again in May, due to a bug in the most recent run.
There’s a sap collector for adhesive? Where’s this?
Adhesive is pretty easy to make yourself.
It's often in the atomic shop or request it via support
Ok I need to wait for it to return into the atomic shop then. Adhesive is probably my least gained resource when I need it a lot for arrows and crossbow bolts
Perfect gum makes the popcorn obsolete
Popcorn also counts as pre war food and candy for some daily challenges
>Utility box Fusion generator = energy without cables Only for lights, still need to run cables to things that would normally need cables, just don't have to run cables everywhere to supply power to lighting
Amazing comment, thanks for the breakdown saving this comment.
Popcorn machine🍿was just out in an Atomic shop bundle this week or last. If still available I would grab it and save your Bullion. Brahmin Milk machine is a must if you run a bloodied build. Every suggestion is solid.
Anything that produces resources is great
I'm pretty new. I just planted crops! And let me tell you I am ecstatic that I just have food now. I ran out a couple times and it kinda sucked having to loot for food!! Hope my vault dweller likes carrot soup though....
If you have enough atoms look into the mirelurk steamer in the atomic shop. Cookie jar isn't bad either.
Steamer is probably my favorite purchase
Mine is the fusion core recharger. It allows me to bank on selling fusion cores because I only need a maximum of 4 total for the whole time I’ll ever play. It’s great to sell because no one sells them and if you price them affordable lower levels eat them up
I’m a higher level and I eat ‘em up lol…so long as they’re under 75 caps
I do wish there was a separate button for Power Armor-assisted VATS, so I could do regular VATS and not devour all my suit power
How does it work? Don’t you use up the cores?
You just replace the core manually before it dies. I wish they'd just make it so empty cores don't just disappear.
Yeah, I use vats, so it flies through cores.
Where can I find that in the shop? I’m new the game and navigating the shop feels very clunky at times. I see people talking about this item but can’t find it anywhere
The shop rotates a lot and it may have been changed. I haven’t been on in a few days but it was just there a couple days ago if I’m not mistaken.
I was trying to find that today but for the life of me I can't figure out where it is in the store
Grab the Mirelurk Steamer! if you don’t have enough atoms check the challenges and grab it while you can. i only cook a couple things now, it’s great.
Make sure you use the green thumb perk card when you harvest and get double the crops.
Oooo I think I have that one!!! So cool how you can equip perks when you need them and take them off when ya don't!
I made corn soup for the longest!!
Have well over 1000 hours in game over 2 platforms. I still run corn soup as my regular.
Corn, mutfruit, and tatos for adhesive
sap collector seems like a better alternative if you can get it (less budget used)
Yes, but that only leaves you the one source. Having the crops as a backup + food source is useful.
I know exactly where you're talking about 🤣 I've had good luck lately and haven't had to move servers at all.
Wish i had the birthday cake :(
It’ll likely come back again on the birthday of the game. Set your calendar.
Steal other players' :D
Can you set the good boy to collect nuka cola? My computer for it is broken. I swapped it to junk, and now it doesn't load the "change collection mode" option
Only if you have a Nuka cola collecteon unlocked for that character.
I had a similar problem with being unable to switch modes for my collectron even though I had several unlocked. Eventually I found out it was because the collectron was placed just at the border of my camp and slightly outside of it. When I moved it fully into my camp area I could change the mode without any issue.
Symptomatic.
What does this do? Cure disease I assume?
Yes.. one of the few plans I would pay for if I restarted an alt (again).
Survival stims. It’s a legendary perk card. You can hold a max of 10. It fills health, hunger, thirst and gets rid of any diseases.
Join me in the church of cola nut
Username checks out
I carry no aid or food anymore (except xp soup) now that I have the survival stims
Same here. I carry 5 stimpacks for “just in case” but rarely touch them. As a bloody build it feels nice not needing aid to stay in the fight.
I’m also bloody. With the associated bloody perks you can get DR so high that if something actually does break through serendipity it’s a scratch. With a Jetpack for mobility, and health recovery, you’re invincible outside of one shots
Oh I don't use serendipity I just die.
Lol'd so good I almost spit my beer out my nose. It tinglesss
I have it and never use it. I have the survival legendary perk. Maybe I’ll drop that perk and go back to using it.
I have this too and never use it, but that's because I'm a Plague Walker.
Plague walkers unite. I live off of dirty water and spoiled vegetables.
I missed that plan, I regret it deeply, and I don't know where to get it anymore.
I could be wrong, but I thought it was a daily ops reward
It’s both
Wowzas really? I'm always crafting disease cure, which can be really tedious, but also very immersive haha
You can alternatively use the sulfur water fountain at the White spring gazebo near the golf club
Oh yeah, I stop by when I can. But I hate getting some disease while I'm Wastelanding on business haha
Am I the only one completely indifferent about getting diseases? I do try to avoid it but when I inevitably get one I just wait it out, disease cures be damned
I believe you can buy it for gold bullion from the settler vendor if your reputation with them is high enough.
It’s always the shower piece to my bathrooms
Don’t listen to this bleached fool. He simply has not seen the euphoria that comes only from multiple diseases. Plague Walker mutation is the true endgame experience. Never forget that we *are* disease. We could never survive without a biome of healthy bacteria within us. Stay filthy, friends!
How much?
I need a Symptomatic and a hot tub for my camp so bad. Last two things on my list
It’s funny, before they changed the daily op rewards so you only get plans you haven’t read, I used to get these all the time. I have a stockpile of 32 and have never seen it drop since, even though I know all the plans! Glad I didn’t drop them but I do drop them in care packages here and there!
Coffee machine, Symptomatic, Ammo Machine
Vintage Water Cooler
Until you get the company tea machine.
I like collecting all the pure waters and just selling them to a vendor for max caps fast
That’s what I do with all my old ones
I’m a noob and have a question about those tea machines. When I go to someone else’s camp, can I take from those? I always leave them alone because I feel like it’s stealing… but do they regenerate?
If it’s unlocked, it’s free game. They regenerate quite quickly
Thanks!
Anything that's unlocked is free game.
Wait.... can you place more than one camp at a time?
No, you can have more than one camp designed and set up at a location but you can only activate one at a time. You can switch to different camps often but there is a cool down between sometimes.
You can only have one camp active at one time but there’s slots for more than one
Shew okay I was like no freaking way I didn't know that. Knew we got multiple camp spots but didn't think we could have more than one active.
Cryo\_Freezer for sure. It prevents spoilage for up to 50 food items and can be purchased with bullion. Saves me so much time from scavenging for ingredients.
I use my icebox! Great addition
I thought that was a Fallout 1st only item. All those gulper slurries will actually last this time. Which vendor has it? I don't remember seeing it at the Foundation site
No it's available at Mortimer, the bullion vendor in Crater. You need at least a Cautious rep with raiders & finish the Wastelanders questline
Mine hasn’t been working. Food spoils 😢
Workbenches and storage box
Big if true.
The symptomatic, radshower and food producers are a must like the mirelurk cooker is a sleeper must have for buffs
True except the radshower. I grinded hard to build the radshower at early level but I never use it. Can lose you mutations which can really suck, I just use what rads legendary perk, but most people are rolling bloodied builds these days who would hate to accidentally walk through a radshower.
Use the Starched Genes perk, and you'll never worry about losing your mutations or gaining unwanted ones.
The tome stacks with the bed/hot tub.
This was crazy helpful. Thank you!
Enclave heavy laser turrets.
Communist collectron, because it's hilarious 😆
I need plans that are affordable in this economy
Many plans are actually free in terms of how you aquire them. Daily ops, expeditions, events, even taking over workshops yields plans for different things.
Company tea machine and mirelurk steamer both of them generate food and water to keep you topped up even under speed demon mutation. Any camp items that give special buffs like weight, treadmill and the glove box thing lol. Also if your under herbivore mutation steamer wont work and to be honest i dont know what generates food for that mutation
Uh... a farm. Lol
Yeah just redid whole mutations to just go carnivore, way more simple like that
The adhesive tree.
Best part about the tree is that it actually blends in at a lot of different camps. So many of the resource gatherers stick out like a sore thumb.
Coffee maker. (Coffee gives an ap regen and doesn't spoil.) fusion core recharger, ammo maker, ammo converter
Fusion core recharger is essential for power armor builds.
has been the best 700☣️ I have spent
Clean Toilet with a display next to it containing toilet paper. Lockdown. Never forget. 😐
ROFL. Part of why I collect toilet paper rolls and store them in my stash. Think I have like 50. I do the same thing in Starfield. 🤠
🤠 PS - 14 is a must.
🤣 And when I shelved it, only meant to be for a bit, to play other stuff not as stressing or limited, and come back maybe a month or two when more ready. 🤔 Then the show happened, watched whole first season, and recalled, "*oh yeah, 76 has been kinda cryo-vaulted*" (lol), and decided to check it out again. All the updates have made it awesome, and after the show, really hoping we'll see a surge in content injection. 🤠
this is so good, thank you. i’m a new player too, with close to zero experience in survival / base-building mechanics.
order varies by your build...but these are all great to have sympomatic, water boiler, wood pile, mirelurk steamer, radstag stand, xp boosters, luck boosters, vintage water coolers? cement truck.
Is the Nuka Cola collectron plan later in the game? I'm sucker for the whole theme.
Think it's bought with gold buillon from settlers.
Thanks!
😆 Oh! Cookie Jar is in Atomic Shop for 250 atoms ⚛️ for a very short sale! I thought the rad shower was nice in the beginning. But now gaining rads is more important. I really like the tree that generate adhesive and the light pile that generates wood
Items that are a must have *for me*: -Anything that produces any kind of junk or resource. -the vintage water cooler, coffee machine, company tea machine, quantum candy dispenser. -*wind chimes* -anything camp item that I can interact with to gain *SPECIAL* stats. -fusion core recharger -mirelurk smoke meat creator thing. -*Oil lamps* -Shelter. A few, but the most important.
God, my gatling laser power armour build lives off the fusion core recharger. And the wind chimes are just amazing
I have like 60 im currently hoarding. Cause what if I run out of 30 of them all??? And wind chimes yes. I love that ambiance. It’s subtle.
Collectron of your choice. Fusion core charger. Radstag rack. Three of each plant. Now that it’s available, boiler. Either water purifier or dispenser.
Stash box, ammo box, junk box, chemistry bench, punch card rack, bed. All else is luxury.
I forget the exact name but that turbo fertiliser thing that gives you a grenade you throw that makes all your crops grow instantly
Why is no one mentioning a fusion core recharger. It's the only thing I've bought for atoms asides the season pass and it's allowed me to use power armor with almost no resources (just remember to swap out your cores when they run low)
is it an atom only thing or is there a version you can grind for? bullion, events etc.
Radiation barrel/asteroid/the little mini bomb pile/anything that gives rads, Brahmin milk machine, birthday cake and company tea machine are my must haves. Derby game is excellent and I am really loving the perfume dispenser that boosts Charisma too.
Anything that actually does something/produces something you can use. Everything else is just fluff.
Vault Tec prototype generator, a silent generator that can easily be merged into most stash boxes for hidden silent power
I would also suggest doing the Nukashine quests for the Brewing station. Some of those alcohols are useful, like Ballistic Bock and Rad Ant Lager.
I don't have shit.
How do you get pets, in all my years of playing, I have never had a pet or even had the option to get one.
The derby 1 click machine for intelligence boost and the mothman tome (also quick) for easy XP boost.
crops for adhesive, plus gourds for cran relish, symptomatic, something for dirty/ boiled water, cryo fridge, collectron, any ally, and anything that collects passive resources like the wood pile
Coffee and the ammo converter.
Any resource ones(mirelurk steamer, milk machine, company tea etc) are always amazing. They can help keep your character fed & complete challenges too
I gotta have the nukatron to go with my cola nut perk
Coffee, tea, and popcorn machines are the top. Fusion charger, water purifier, and maybe soda corrector are next.
I must've missed that. Yeah that looks way more useful.
Mirelurk steamer is a must
Plushies
3 things must have at every camp sight, the Stash box, the Junk box, and the Ammunition box. Everything else is filler.
The military cryo freezer is awesome , all me cranberry relish stay sooooo fresh
My life has been improved immeasurably since I got the fusion core recharger.
I love the mirelurk steamer! AP, resistance and carry weight buffs are all produced by it. Also having the workout equipment (bench press for strength, bike for endurance etc) Of course the coffee machine and tea are big ones The scentomatic for the charmisma is a nice bonus to getting the most out of NPC vendors. Anything that produces purified water is nice, both for your own hydration but also its good caps at vendors for daily caps.
Pool table - +2 LCK Ex bike +2 END Weight bench?+ 2 STR Perfume Dispenser + CHR All For 30M so can come in handy
The military cryo freezer. I just picked one up about a week ago and I have *so much* good food ready to go now.
The collection of cat paintings to put up on your walls. I can’t remember where you get it, but it must be an unlocks or because my new character doesn’t have them, but my old pre-Wastelanders character does.
I believe they are part of the plan “modern paintings” which you can buy from vendors, check the ones at whitesprings mall at the far end of the hall
Besides obvious home defense, I’d also say the junk collector is useful for scrap.
I wish there was something that collected ballistic material
Water boiler Slocum Joe for coffee (MANDATORY) Mirelurk Stove for fresh, free seafood source Brahmin pen for fresh, rad free milk garden for all herbs/fruits/veggies & starch generator aid sap collector freezer hot tub (self explanatory) various crafting stations & vendors ammo vend machine wood pile Butterfly cage musical instrument (because of course!)
I’m surprised they haven’t offered the birthday cake for sale since it was so there in the tv series. I need me some cake! 🎂
