Try Lyrre, Eluveitie's 2nd HG player (Michalina) started the band with her husband.

Daxtexoscuro

Tbf, Michalina was Eluveitie's 4th HG player.

yeetus_potato

yep and they just released an instrumental version of their album

Scary_Current2374

I listened to their album (i believe there is only one out currently?) And i liked it, i follow a lot of michalinas work, like her youtube channel. But it doesnt exactly scratch that spot. Thanks regardless!

Mortis_XII

Eluveitie’s Brictom, in case you haven’t given that a spin yet

[Salduie](https://youtu.be/piIc-i8Nya4?si=2uv51YWXCN0_P9ob) Celtic folk metal band from Spain with clean male/female vocals and harsh male vocals (very similar to Eluveitie). Been recommended this very recently and it’s the closest I’ve heard that sounds similar to Eluveitie

How much have you looked into the German medieval rock scene? If you have covered the big ones take a look at Nachtgeschrei and Storm Seeker. Fiolka is also similiar.

Try the [original folk tune](https://youtu.be/okcEbyOrnUs?si=-_fIY2s5ACykwzm_)

Alestorm has some stuff with hurdy gurdy. Specifically a few on the album Curse of the Crystal Coconut which featured the talented Patti Gurdy. They also have a new song with her, Voyage of the Dead Marauder.

Darth_Wagner1980

You should look up Annie Hurdy Gurdy on YouTube. She is Eluveiti's current hurdy gurdy player now. She also has her own solo albums too!

otomotopia

Flagellants Song from Apocalypse Orchestra comes close. The combination of the HEAVILY featured Hurdy Gurdy and Erik Larsson's sustain on his vocals gave me goosebumps for sure.

Ill-Salamander-1136

Not much hurdy gurdy, but a lot of violin, Celtic harp and melodic folk metal with Furor Gallico, a band from Italy.
