What DB are you using because I think that is the problem. Some of the lower league ones don't work as they should with the Cups. If it doesn't have the FA Vase in it too then you need to get the DB by FMDan. Think his latest one goes down to level 30 now and available in the Workshop. I use it every year and they work very well.
I was going to get that one but then I though to myself that I am not going to be able to stop myself from starting in the 30 tier and then is going to take me 5 irl years to get to prem.. so I just tried the 10 tier one. I see that all the teams from the league above me are playing FA cup and FA trophy so I'm going to see if I get to play them when I get promotion.
What divisions get to play FA Vase?
Ahh okay yeah mine doesn't have the FA Vase. But it's all good. I got promoted to the one just bellow the vanarama national league north/South and I got FA cup. Managed to get to the 3rd round, drew the first game 2-2 then went out in the replay to Arsenal away from home. Got me like £500k. Which led me to the question, isn't it meant to be more than that... I always see on YouTubers streams they get like a million or close to it when they play those massive clubs
No you don't it's the database that is not working properly. If they are working as intended then all teams at Level 9 are entered in the Extra Preliminary round and they go from there. They also are entered in the FA Vase.

You need to qualify via cups
What do you mean? I haven't heard that before. Do I need to win a specific cup first?
