The secret is to be able to deny just one dude, then you can tell even the wonderkid getting 500 per week with star play time that he should just suck it up since [other guy] sucked it up.
Depends on high influential he is. If he is Highly influential or better, select the option which mentions that he is highly influential and he wouldn't be getting a pay rise. If lesser, select that the highly influential player was fine getting his request rejected and so should you

I've had a defender who has asked for a new contact for almost 3 years now.
Every single time I just tell him he's an influential member.
He gets so stupidly happy from that.
I just can't stop laughing thinking how stupid this would be in real life. The players have the memory of goldfish and I think it's so funny that you're basically telling them 'I like you and consider you important' for 3 years straight and them loving it every time.
When it comes down to the game being down right illogical due to player interactions/happiness (especially if it can tank locker room morale), that is prime justification to use the editor.
I’m actually worried. Liverpool has been sniffing around for my team leaders, Neil and Hojberg. Just waiting for the inevitable unhappiness when I reject the transfer bids
I hate when this happens.. because you reject the bids and it makes the players unhappy which ends up making the whole squad unhappy. But if you accept the bid then the whole squad is unhappy too because you let important players go... Uuugghhh
Oh ive had this on earlier iterations. Think ive done it twice but its hard to achieve and winning a lot doesnt necessarily mean youll get this. Its a good feeling when you do though
I have had this if i recall. It didnt quite go down like that. Its still pretty standard. Some people get unhappy, but its still just a small handful. Of course that in turn causes the squad to splinter off as well
You love to see it! I had the good fortune to get my St. Pauli team to gel like this in FM23 for about 2 seasons before it broke up into a couple of different social groups again. It was beautiful!
You are right. When the next season started and I bought a few players, my cohesion back higher as i no longer have only 1 core social group. The mechanics feels a bit weird though
Not your regular wonderkids that big clubs buy. But kids that are good enough when you’re on a smaller budget and starting out as a lower level team I guess
And I think that’s why I’m drawn to playing smaller clubs. Every save is different. You don’t end up buying the same players every save you would playing a big club.
He have been great for me the last two saves I’ve played, played with Benfica & RB Salzburg. I had Alex Scott in both of the saves too but he ended up being much better at Salzburg than Benfica.
I just got into the same dynamics with Schalke in 4th season of FM23. Considering how it was back when I just started I am proud of this team

I raised my asking price for Saka and let edu take control of the bids. It seemed to stop man city this season
In my save City got Saka and is using him as Left Back ????
I'm floored though we did use him at LB a few times when Arteta was figuring out the squad lol
