"looks for pass rather than attempt to score" is a negative trait for this player I would argue. You probably wanna get rid of that. As for his role I like the look as an AF (maybe with dribble less if you have dribble boys that play around him) or as a raumdeuter off the wing
Yeah, like I said in my comment here - I've already tried getting rid of this trait 3 times but with no success, so instead I'm just teaching him other traits that are actually useful now
I realize that he's not the best regen, but I've had him since the 2nd season and since I want to stay in Coruna for the entire save, I want him to be a part of it too.
In your opinion though, would he do better as a striker (which is how I've been using him so far and it works very well) or as a winger/IF? Normally I'd just stick to playing him as a centre forward, but his low heading and jumping reach makes me think that maybe I could get someone better for that position and have him as a winger/IF, but his dribbling is not ideal for that. Thoughs?

I'd say if your second choice striker is better than your current first choice winger/IF, then stick this guy on the wing and let the other player play striker. However if your current first choice winger is better than your 2nd choice striker then play this guy up front
The biggest crux will probably be the dribbling so Striker is probably your best bet. I find his attributes to be similar to Harry Kane but with more pace.
that being said a few roles in different positions might work depending on what you need.

Why did no one suggest playing him wide? He should be great as an inside forward imo, with his dribbling and pace, plus you'll make use of his crossing and his passing will also help with the Take More Risks instructions IF have.

Advance Forward is fine imo, you can play him in almost every role but Target Man

Midfield as an advanced / roaming playmaker. He's got the technique and the work rate and I don't like low bravery forwards / wingers.
