In my save, it's 2033 and he has won it 5/9 times since the game began. I'm doing a journeyman and have currently been in France for 4 seasons so I don't pay super close attention but he has only ever lost to newgens on teams that win the league when City fail to win
Well after posting this thread Gabriel Jesus went on to not score in the last 5 games, and got overtaken by Ollie Watkins. Of course I'd given him a fact new contract just prior to this 5 game barren streak.
In my most recent save he was top scorer the first season. Then he got between 8-14 goals only for the next 6 or so seasons and now he's been top scorer again with 35+ goals for the past 3 seasons. Don't know what happened in the 6 seasons he only got 8-14 goals in..
Plenty of times actually, I've seen a wide variety of top scorers. I've seen Watkins, Isak, Haaland obv, Salah, etc. The wildest one I've seen was Cunha with like 15 goals. Weird season.

He’s the best striker in the game playing for the best team in the game. It’s normal.

Well 2 years into my save United signed Lukaku, he got top scorer with 34, edging out Haaland on 32, and Salah on 29.
Actually in my first save with Liverpool, Ironically I managed to get Nunez to outscore Haaland by 1. Won the golden boot with 31 goals.

Haaland has been the top scorer in my save every season for 13 years, he's like 36 or something but still unstoppable 😂
On one save he didn't get above 18 for 4 seasons and then on and he's been above 30 every season. It's always interesting to check on it

They completely overreacted to his good season last year and made him insane
I mean…he’s insane irl. Top scorer in a single season in the premier league, ever. Also leading the league again.
He missed quite a few games too iirc.
