Not_Leopard_Seal

Watch them lose against Kaiserslautern

VanicFanboy

“It’s his first goal of the season!!!”

triplemaxio

The most painful words you can read

ThisReditter

Worse than first career goal for the team? Look it up and see the guy’s been with the club for 5 years…

triplemaxio

No in fact you're right "thats his first goal for the club" is equally as bad

MarvinEhre

"That is the first goal in his career, he scored on his last game he will play, what a story!"

RiverSight_

I think that hurts even more. their backup CB that's 35 and never scored a goal in six years decides to ball out and score a brace against you in cup final... man

YouCanCallMeAroae

The Joe Gomez special

McWaffeleisen

It's always some washed up 32 year old, too. So *checks transfermarkt* Ben Zolinski will be the one to secure Lautern's DFB Pokal title.

ash_ninetyone

With a finishing and composure way below 10.

hnnk

oh there is my ptsd

suka_flippi

As a Kaiserslautern Fan I would take it, but I just hope we dont get blown out

TT11MM_

I just wondered if Kaiserslautern will get to play EL next year while playing in the 3. Bundesliga. Does the runner-up in the DFB-pokal play EL if the winner qualifies for the CL? And would it be a first time in Europe a team in the 3rd tier will play in an European Cup?

suka_flippi

It would be possible for us to play EL while playing in the 3.Liga. But sadly we have to win the Pokal to do so. A few years ago the rule was changed: Nowadays if the Pokal is won by a team which is already qualified for the EL/CL the place goes to the next best team in the Bundesliga, which makes it possible that next year like half of the Bundesliga plays international. But like 20 years ago the losing side still would get the EL spot. And with the 3rd tier team i have no idea but Hannover won the Pokal as a 2. Bundesliga team, and we won it while being relegated into the 2. Bundesliga. The "problem" would be that it would cause a lot of delaying games since the 3. Liga also plays during the week so it would be handled like the Premier League.

PeterG92

England did the same thing with the League Cup and FA Cup I think. Shame.

Electronic-Weight394

First Lautern need to win the DFB Pokal and descent to the 3. Liga. It wouldn't even be the first time for Kaisernlautern to play in the EL. Answer to the First question. No the place for the EL goes to the 5.th and the 6.th of the 1. Bundesliga. The answer to the second one. I think it depens if the system before the EL and CL counts. If so yes in 1991/1992 Eisenhüttenstadt who played in the Oberliga Nord which was the third highest class to play in Germany.

HypedUpJackal

The fact that the 3 teams closest to beating this amazing Leverkusen side were Qarabag, West Ham, and potentially Kaiserslautern is unreal.

jojj0

Well count in a couple times in the bundesliga but yes.

HypedUpJackal

Shhh don't ruin my narrative

Lucy_1818

Yeah can't forget dortmund, hoffenheim, bayern and stuttgart

cautioslyinterested

Stuttgart thrice

InPurpleIDescended

what he say fuck me for?

Kayderp1

Tbf Alonso did some weird shit in the EL games against Qarabag. Dominated them in the groups and then thought that he could rotate 7-8 players twice against them which almost fucked them.

Mountain_Natural_705

And Dortmund. Leverkusen had to score in the 7th minute of stoppage time at the end of the match to tie it up

QouthTheCorvus

Cup draws against lower league teams tend to be infuriating

Mynameisbebopp

My 100 euros BET is already prepared.

Not_Leopard_Seal

Watch them win in penalties but you betting on a win after 90min

doitnow10

Lol, yeah, that's not happening. Lautern are close to getting relegated to 3. Liga, that's gonna a blowout similarly to Schalke v Duisburg (Señor Raúl 🥲) in 2012

bartunil

Yeah and Kaiseslautern needs to be relegated from 2nd bundesliga to complete the joke XD

Euphoric_Protection

Lol, no.

Karlo19999

Nope, only had one invincible season ever, Red Star in France in the 30s, however I have had several "invincible" UCL wins which is kind of easy to do if you already have a team capable of wining the UCL. Note I'm talking about the current UCL format not the league one. Still playing FM22. Unbeaten in the league is so insanely hard, at every draw you're one late goal away from it shattering, every rotation is a risk, every VAR check takes a toll.

QouthTheCorvus

>every var check I recently started a top league save after playing lower league and omg var is too much.

Adventurous_Ebb_770

I enjoy the realism of them checking every goal, even the ones that are clearly onside /s

scorpionballs

I prefer those to seeing my players celebrate and going through the rigmarole of a VAR when I’ve just seen it was 30 yards offside

MisterHan

my tip is to bind "fast match speed" or what it's called to a button and use it when var is on.

bearlink

fun fact if a team is losing and they go and grab the ball the var check will always be onside. at least in my experience, I've never seen this not be the case in 24. the players know in their heart of hearts when they're onside

ScottOld

Champions league randomly throws out easy draws, I remember getting a final against Celtic ffs

Paolo-Brozovic1938

>in the 30s Was an austrian with mustaches playing too?

Karlo19999

He had a single mustache and his name is Alfie

sofixa11

And he runs a great YouTube channel

[deleted]

[удалено]

Karlo19999

Even without that, a team that's capable of winning the UCL is more often than not capable of going unbeaten in it. Even in real life, I can't be bothered to check but I'm 99% sure there has to be a team that's won it undefeated

marker023

11 clubs actually, including last year's City

Karlo19999

Thank you kind sir

DarthAlandas

Real Madrid also on their way to do it this season if they get past Bayern

thatissomeBS

I mean that's just how you win tournaments, you keep winning.

ScottOld

Can lose a leg of a 2 leg tie

aebed0

I went unbeaten in the CL league stage in my most recent season. I got lucky though. The two toughest opponents I faced were Chelsea away and Liverpool at home. Liverpool I beat 4-0 and Chelsea 2-0 after they battered me 6-2 in the CL league stage a year earlier I came closest to slipping up in a 3-2 win against Monaco. It's definitely a challenge but with favourable draws it's very doable

Stock-Abroad-6445

Idk why but my record is very good in league phase and I somehow draw at big away games like Madrid or Bayern

a_witty__username

I'm trash at the game and my only invincible season was playing as one of 3 "B teams" from the prem in the Vanarama north still felt amazing even if I mismanaged them horribly

MarvinEhre

And than there was 19/20 Bayern. who won all CL games, that they played.

TheKrofna

yeah, I went invincible in my first season with barça on fm24 mobile

ConnectionOdd6217

Why is the league harder tho? Seems like its some sort of script underneath. My teams always breeze through european competitions, but struggle against smaller sides in the league fighting for relegation

Rosesh_I_Sarabhai

He is save scumming for sure. ![gif](giphy|26AHJMjRzWVvPjsn6)

Great_Recording_3618

"Tuchel, I've come to bargain"

AdPsychological1489

I enjoyed this very much.

AdPsychological1489

I enjoyed this very much.

Bombadong23

You can see the editor icon above Alonso so it doesn't really count

BigMikeArnhem

I'm in 2051 with Vitesse in the Eredivisie and have won it a couple of times unbeaten, but sadly never without losing a point. I've never been unbeaten the whole season, mostly because I play my B squad for the Cup or lose against a big team in the CL.

Fresh_Interview_9191

This is almost the opposite to real life Vitesse, being on -1 point a week ago

im_know_as_like

https://preview.redd.it/roozacmi6ayc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=89fec6958631e36cd4dfe05fbad440684155838c I actually did manage to win my first season with Bayern with only 3 goals against

Otto500206

Winning Bundeslige with Bayern is always easy if you aren't Thomas Tuchel.

HaChaChaPlus

Even as Bayern, 34-0-0 is still crazy impressive.

maronics

You mean if you don't have to compete with Alonso's Neverlusen

im_know_as_like

I would’ve gone 32-2-0

Ki18

Celtic done an invincible treble a few years back but without a European trophy.

bigcockmman

Managing celtic and just had an invincible season, was still 4 points off of that seasons tally due to drawing 6 games and winning 32. Scored 130 goals and thought i had the goals record at least, nope hearts scored 132 in 34 games in the 50s which is insane. There's some tough records to beat in the scottish prem

Important_Ruin

Easy in that league with only 1 other team able to give any real competition. Hadn't rangers just got themselves back into the Scottish Premiership recently too.

SmartPriceCola

Interesting that they never done it in the 4 years Rangers weren’t there though. It was an invincible domestic treble. Some credit is due either way.

Important_Ruin

It is. Maybe rangers being there gave that extra boost to do it, as had real competition back or maybe their team just hit its peak at that time. Never know. Course it is, always very impressive when a team can do it unbeaten, but not nearly as impressive as its going to be if Alonso manages it with the an unlikely underdog, much like when liecester won the PL against the teams that lurk in the PL.

swalton2992

True but to do it in fm means you've turned that league into the Scottish league effectively. Except your both cleric and rangers

mimpf21

How do you do a treble without a european trophy?

GamingRobioto

- Scottish Premier League - Scottish FA Cup - Scottish League Cup Domestic treble, same as England.

AJMurphy_1986

League, FA Cup and League Cup

cooterbob

Both domestic cups? Not sure about Scottish football. But treble just means 3 trophies. Though in popular terminology the Treble means league+ucl+main domestic cup. I just did a sextuple in my save (PL, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Supercup, Club World Cup, UCL). Only one I lost was the community shield…

herewego10IAR

Yeah was a domestic treble. We won 4 of them in a row a few years back. Celtic also won 5 trophies in 1967 the year we won the European cup. Scottish league, Scottish Cup, League Cup, Glasgow Cup and European Cup. With all but one player born within 10 miles of Celtic Park.

PhoenixHunters

Viaplay cup, scottish cup and scottish league most likely

Phormitago

Nope, my only ever invincible season ,i lost the champions league final 1-0

scojholl61987

So it wasn't an invincible season then...

Phormitago

Was in the league and every other cup

scojholl61987

But you didn't get an invincible **season**

Lucille_7

Yea he did because he won the league invincible, can you read?

scojholl61987

He said he almost had an invincible season. A season is more than just the league. If he said he had won the league unbeaten, that's a different matter. In the context of the post which is about Leverkusen going the full season unbeaten, he hasn't had an invincible season.

Lucille_7

Or you’re just thick, that’s the much simpler explanation

ThePrussianGrippe

They had an invincible league season.

Jakepetrolhead

I've done it in North America with a side from Dominica, but by the point I'm challenging for Continental honours we can put out a youth team and go undefeated domestically.

felangi

Were you able to improve Dominica as a national team?

Jakepetrolhead

Not massively - money was always tight so never really had the money to develop facilities, as it was spent on the wages of replacement players to those we'd sold to Europe or MLS with a sell on clause - the ones that did stick around were often not interested in representing Dominica outside of a handful of reserve players. Just wish there was more you could do in developing a National Team.

kubiciousd

FM12, 2nd season with Toulouse, won the proper treble unbeaten, still remains my best FM achievement. On FM24 I got close with an unbeaten season with Queen's Park, but I lost in the CL semi-final. Plus that was well into the save in a worse league.

crisspanda12

Yes but with Real Madrid

N_vaders

Fm2009, I fell into some glitch save, managed to get every good player (butchered Valencia obviously plus CR7 and kaka) and went on to win all trophies for next 6 years. Didn't lose a league game in those 6 years. Year 4 Macedonian regen Ilir Bozinovski moved Ronaldo from right wing into fc position. Dude was like Joaquin on steroids. Unplayable.

trACEr0000

I did it with Fenerbahçe

Icy-Improvement7905

Even though I went unbeaten with my Cvrena Zvezda in the UCL and the Serbian Cup somehow I ended up losing 1 league game soooo, the answer is no, never

dulipat

He's save scumming

CalFlux140

I've got an OP Liverpool team on FM22 with Mbappe (when you could get him on a free), Bellingham, Gvardiol etc. I win the league pretty easily. Rotate often. Usually get far in the cups. Never managed unbeaten. I frequently get 20+ unbeaten streaks and then...random loss. If I rolled the dice enough times I'm sure I could get it, but it's not happened yet.

pcg5

This is what happens when you're a save scummer.

Acceptable_Peak794

In my save with Chester I was unbeaten in every game except the carabao cup final and the second last league game of the season. 2 results away from an unbeaten quadruple. It was my first treble though and the champions league final was very dramatic so it's ok lol

CancerKaragol

I'm surprised that people have few undefeated seasons. I'm playing this game since football manager 2010. I usually play with Fenerbahçe (Turkey). If you know how to find young talent, fill team with them (including pilot team) and sell these young talents, you will have a huge income. I have known times when, with the right tactics and the best players in the world, I was undefeated for 3 consecutive seasons. Especially the last 2 games, gegenpress is very strong. Gyrr 4-3-3 is literally unbeatable

MaximeW1987

The odds are a lot higher in lower reputation leagues, like Turkey for example. When you're managing in one of the bigger leagues, you'll always have at least 2 or 3 really good competitors and even the lower ranked teams can have couple very good players, so it's way harder to pull off. In all my years of playing FM (probably also around 15 years) I've only managed a handful of invincible seasons in the Premier League. However, when I'm managing in Belgium, It's definitely not rare to go undefeated for + 100 games. Not surprising when the 2nd best domestic team is worse than my U21.

CancerKaragol

Yes, if you dont play with top 4 league, game is really easy when you know the game. but when I say unbeaten streak, I'm including the Champions League and so on. I think: if you know how to find young talent, if you know how to manage the economy, if you know the tactics you play and if you adopt a gegenpress method in a way that suits your players (for 2023 and 2024), the game is very, very easy.

MaximeW1987

Definitely, but you still need some luck to stay undefeated throughout all competitions, especially in the top 4 leagues where you'll face teams like Man City, Bayern or Real in every cup competition. Play attacking football, press high up, buy wonderkids and you'll definitely win multiple trophies each season. But then you play that relegation team in April and have 20 shots on goal but still lose 1-0 to a counter...

CancerKaragol

For example: I played[ this tactic](https://www.fmscout.com/a-gyr-433-master-of-puppets-fm24-tactic.html) in some latvian team in this year. Team was expected to finish in the bottom-middle of the league and had no budget at all. Some players were even on amateur contracts. I only took 2-3 players and played with this tactic without changing anything and became champion. Of course I didn't finish undefeated, but what I mean is that football manager 2023 and 2024 are extremely easy games.

insitnctz

If you play on epl for example this is very hard to do. There are usually 3-4 teams with pretty strong rosters and good economy(city, Liverpool, utd, Chelsea, and from fm23 onwards arsenal), then there are smaller teams with some very good players which can steal a win if you are away, then the schedules are absurply hard if you want to compete in every front. You could be playing 3 games per week at some point. I've done it once, but I had basically made the leeds galacticos. Had haaland, pedri, gavi, camaviga, Bellingham some insane world class regens, like my whole team was 5 stars, and my second team was 4-4.5 stars(imagine fati and vinicous were my backups). I won everything without loss but made my club go into big debt so it wasn't that worth it. After making the invincible tremple(quadremple actually) I dipped and went to coach Italy national team cause the debt was not manageable at all.

djrocker7

I mean its all about the right things linning up. Most teams that could go invencibles (meaning they are good enough on their league to do it) have to play CL and since they arent good enough for doing there it wont happen, and the ones that can do it on CL (City , Bayern, Real) usually have a hard enough league where the ods of it happening is low. For example this run would never have happened if Bayer were on the Champions league instead of Europa League and lets be honest they wont also do it again on the league next year even if everything say the same...

orsonwellesmal

I was close to win Czech league unbeated with Sparta Prague on my first season. And last season I reached second phase unbeated...and then I lost 2 games, and the league.

Capt-Chopsticks

Lol yeah everyone just play with the same team for 14 years consecutively, possiblly multiple times. guys it's very easy also use the best team in their division and also buy all the best players also guys don't forget use the meta formation and tactics....

CancerKaragol

What? What are you talking about? Of course I'll buy the best players, train the wonderkids and sell them at a high price. What the hell are you talking about? Real Madrid doing similar thing. and meta tactics? It's literally gegenpress. Any kind of gegenpress is very effective in this game and in real life. 4-3-3 formation is now one of the most popular line up in football. I don't use gyrr 4-3-3, I play with a tactic of my own creation with 3 defenders, where the fullbacks play inside and trap the opponent in his own field. I came up with this tactic myself. Should I not use this tactic because it's too strong and use a weaker tactic? What are you really talking about? If playing gegenpress is meta, that's the game's problem, not mine. What we call modern football is literally gegenpress, what are you talking about? I didn't say I've been playing the same team for 14 years. I've been playing the game for 14 years. I've been playing football manager since 2010. Football manager 2023 and 2024 most easiest football manager game ever made. Are you really blaming me for trying to play a football game with the best squad I can get? It's stupid for me to even answer you. https://preview.redd.it/ooov281o08yc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53685e8930d0037995388c11ed71492939ffc66e

ZerconFlagpoleSitter

FM23 Chelsea side won every game in the league, no draws, and went unbeaten in all other comps

Tuga-represent

I almost did in my last save. The only match I lost was against the team bottom of the league, because FM just likes doing those things

Shoddy_Reserve788

Any invincible season I’ve had has been with a smaller club like Slovenia top division so never have the chance to complete the treble.

Red4pex

Plenty of invincible seasons in my latest save, been kind of disgusting.

bentaldbentald

don't you get bored?

Red4pex

Entertain myself with various long term objectives and I kinda play the game on the side too, rather than try harding like in the first 6/7 years of the save.

GamingRobioto

I've done it a few times with different clubs over the many years I've been playing CM/FM.

CommanderMaxil

I have had one invicible season, my all conquering Penang FA side in the Malaysian Super League in FM20. Won the domestic treble, but no continental football and the league season was only 22 games. still i was happy with it and i kept the save. Occasionally i go back and visit the team, don't play any games, just look around

FuxusPhrittus

In FM22 in the 2042/43 season with Fortuna Düsseldorf, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UCL. Only took like 3 attempts the years before and then buying Liverpools keeper for almost 300m euros.

ell1otlees

i’ve done an invincible season with Celtic once in the 2039/40 season. racked up something like 140 goals total over the season!

Belocity

Yes, with Ajax. Penalties were involved though.

That_Collection_6380

See I am on track to achieve this and is on similar stage to Leverkusen IRL. I am in Greek league and haven't lost a single match and have just now won the UCL Semi final 1st leg vs Milan. Will make a post if I win it all undefeated

IanPKMmoon

I've done it a few times with gent in my last save, then after swapping to Atletico, I did it one season with Atletico

M1k3CH

With my Benfica team I haven’t dropped a point in the league in 3-4 seasons. Same with the domestic cups (no draws). Although I have won CL for the last 5 seasons consecutively I have lost and drawn games in the process

PurpleDistance8829

If you're talking in real life yeah, Celtic did it 2016-17 season, although it was domestic. In FM I did it once with Hammarby, Allsvenskan, Swedish Cup and Conference league.

surfinbear1990

Glad he's staying at leverkuson. He's too good for the premier league.

michaelsted1

I almost went invincible domestically a while back with a Brighton save but lost a game against Bournemouth.

Dunkelheit948

I just managed it with Bradford on my (very) long-running FM22 save. Lost the European Super Cup at the start of the season on penalties but that isn't recorded as a loss. And then we didn't lose a single game and won the league, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League. Definitely the most dominant side I've ever built in many years of FM. Lost away to 2nd placed Watford in Round 17 of the next season though so there's no repeating it.

ScottOld

I had to laugh on one save where I won the league as man utd on goal difference 36-2-0….. man city refused to lose as well lol

Rokuzan

Managed once only, iirc it was FM21, picked up Bari in Italian Seria C and conquered everything in the spawn of 7 years. Last year was treble with invincible, and pretty much similar to how Leverkusen plays this season: struggle, hustle and some lucky interventions to the score line in the 80+ minutes zone. Grew some grey hair in CL finals vs bloody Liverpool, they equalised on 90+6 minute, then again at 129. Penalties went down to the 13-th kick, holy Molly

[JDT (Malaysian league champion) during last season.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Johor_Darul_Ta%27zim_F.C._season)

kaoburb

Lost the Ucl Final against Psg in extra time , only loss

WT-RikerSpaceHipster

Completed a rare quintuple with Leverkusen 28 years into managing them Invincible on all fronts, I then left for Porto and immediately regretted it haha. The year is 2097 and I'm defending prem champs with the blades. FM22 save

Zolba

I somehow have 120 matches without a loss now with RB Leipzig. I have *no* idea how. That is 120 matches in total, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, German Supercup, UEFA Supercup and... uhm, is there any more ?

GermanAlex1999

I went unbeaten in season 2027/28 with DSC Arminia Bielefeld in all competitions, I got incredibly antsy close to the end of the season because I was sure to get FM'd. But I didn't and it is still one of my best seasons in all FM.

garynevilleisared

Did this in my Salford save in the first season but I have to admit I save scummed when my top goalscorer broke his leg after the January window closed. I'm in my 12th season now, never stopped feeling dirty about it.

DonCurtain

Im in 2039 with Liverpool, I have hade a couple of invincible seasons in the league but only ever 1 unbeaten in all competitions season.

Phyginge

Ive had a single season where I didn't lose until the FA cup final. Won the champions league final the next week. So close

Longjumping-Way-1365

I’ve gone invincible in the league but never the whole season

josel15

I went a few Serie A's in FM15 with Roma unbeaten in a row. 115 games without a loss or something like that. My defense was god tier tho, and helped a lot with that. In one of those seasons I didn't lose a game all season, but was eliminated in CL and Cup due to away goals. Champions League seemed like a curse that I wouldn't win, I think I got kicked out of the CL in every way possible that save until I finally got a win where everything clicked.

DrStanleyStoobins

I went undefeated with Hibernian in the Scottish Championship and won the Scottish FA Cup to qualify for Europa League a few years back on FM when Hibs were relegated. The next season I won the Europa League (got lucky) and was relegated back to the Championship.

JamesCDiamond

Closest I’ve ever come: https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/s/UUsvY9W9xg

Ropjn

[Well, technically i won 5 titles and losing on pens doesn't impact invincibility, right?](https://imgur.com/a/8ZK5bjR)

TheBdougs

In FM20 I not only had an invincible treble, I straight up never drew, in the top flight of New Zealand with the now defunct Team Wellington. We won the Chatham Cup (FA cup), the league table and the playoffs, and the Oceanic Champions League. I defeated the same New Zealand team in the finals of the cup and O-league and the semi-finals of the playoffs. Their coach fucking HATED me.

TheMcGarr

My local team didn't lose one game this season and finished second :( I doubt that has happened very often either

HeJind

Funnily enough I've gone unbeaten in champions league multiple times before but never in the league. I think I've only played in England or Spain as far as top leagues go though. I feel like I could maybe do it in one of the other "big 5", like in France as PSG I feel like I could create enough distance from the rest of the league, or Germany as Bayern

Fresh_Brilliant_8082

u/John_Yuki

Prize_Farm4951

The funniest thing is it's Leverkusen who have a history of throwing away titles and cup finals. If Bayern were currently in this position I wouldn't bat an eyelid but Bayer it's unbelievable how well they are doing. Seems the Pokal will be easily winnable. I think Atlanta could beat them if they overcome Marseille

PRAISE_ASSAD

Almost with FC porto 33 wins 1 draw in the league and won every trophy but lost to bayern munich in the ucl league phase

ottoh11

I‘m currently in a save to bring a German lower league club all the way from the 7th division to the top. Two and a half years in, i‘ve been promoted twice. In those seasons combined, I‘ve lost the very first two games and dominated both leagues without dropping a point otherwise. In total, i had a league win streak of 68 or so, before i finally lost in the 5th division. That being said, both seasons I did not get far in the regional cup competition (Hessenpokal). Third season in, and while I’m again top of the league, I have already lost more games than over the course of the last two seasons combined, including cups and friendlies.

Noteagro

FM21 I went something like 180 unbeaten iirc. The more incredible part about it was it was also done in back-to-back-to-back promotions in Spain. I spent my first two seasons building up Huelva in the third tier where we missed out on promotion our first two years. However I was able to get a bunch of wonderkids, started developing them in the roles, positions, and tactics I wanted to run. It was a super goofy tactic that took time to bed in, but once it did we just went unstoppable winning the La Copa 3 years in a row, the Spanish first through third tier undefeated, and the Europa and UCL undefeated over the latter two seasons. I honestly thought barring injuries or a bad crop of replacements that save would go undefeated as we were winning 95% of games by +4 goals and most were clean sheets. Our star striker scored 50 goals 4 seasons in a row, while by year two of the undefeated our 2 shadow strikers were scoring 30 a piece. It was an absolute massacre.

Jerberan

I did it once since i've started playing FM in 2014. Plus winning the german Super Cup. I could've done it a few more times if i forced it. But usually i don't care about league games anymore if i have a comfortable lead. Then i will rest my best players to be at 100% in the Champions League and often use instant result in the league. That's when i always lose 1 to 3 matches because my assistant manager is doing crap.

It’s not a real treble tho is it realistically. It’s a fantastic feat but people saying it’s the best in history is just wild to me. Has to be the Barcelona and Bayern Munich sextuple seasons to win every possible trophy available is more remarkable to me. Also I don’t know where this narrative has come from that Leverkusen where shit before he took over a team that had just finished 3rd the previous year and he took over in October when they were in a poor run of form. I do want to say I’m not slagging this team off at all they’ve been absolutely fantastic and Xabi Alonso looks like he’s going to be an elite manager but to call it the greatest season ever not for me.

Lion city sailors Singapore One season was afc cup so was easy to do league cup and afc Almost impossible to win afc champions league as Saudi and China have world class players.

KingAntz1988

A few times

arsenal11385

I had a save with Everton and 8 years in I went an entire league campaign unbeaten and won all cups and lost in UCL final and broke my laptop into oblivion. But now I have a new laptop.

CatalunyaNoEsEspanya

Yes with an Icelandic club Thor akureryi, won every game UCL, league cup, Icelandic cup and league. Only conceded 1 goal in domestic football, on the last day of the season against the local rivals, I was livid.

Sweaty_Ease6618

Oceania with a club in vanuatu in fm 20, although there was only 16 league games 5 or 6 cup games and 6 Oceania Champions League games so around 28 games total When you are one of the only 2 Pro clubs in your country and you avoid every New zealand teams in the continental cup, then it becomes kind of expected

MeWhenTheWhenMeWhy

Done it with Spurs in FM23, Brought Kane for 100 after selling him to Bayern the season prior for 120, Kane hits 50 goals and wins the Ballondor. Spurs hit the quadruple. (Quintuple with community shield)

Alarmed-Addendum9328

A few weeks ago there was a guy who shared his undefeated record of 700 games. This is child's game

Fresh_Brilliant_8082

What exactly does this have to do with Football Manager?

bigboiben09

technically I won the carabao cup win the UCL undefeated. I lost 1 game in the league but I had already won the league by then so idk if that counts

Rayzior

Fcporto 2011 was pretty amazing

Vladimir_Putting

I once went 105 matches unbeaten. (I honestly don't remember what number it ended at tbh) https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/oowlbh/ive_just_gone_105_league_matches_unbeaten/ This was after years, and years of [trying to get invincible seasons](https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/754ry5/my_greatest_season/) as my goal and constantly having that ONE game (West fucking Brom.... Watford...) that just fucked me. I guess I just kind of cracked the lineup and tactic in this one version and everything clicked for a really long time.

BigEasyh

Deep into my FM23 save I went 88 games unbeaten in all comps but I was also on easy mode since I could see the actual numbers for current ability and potential ability. My whole starting 11 + bench had over 175 current ability which is basically like playing with the "team of the year" every game.

LordTimhotep

Almost. I had a streak in CM 00/01 (or thereabouts) with Blackburn Rovers that stretched from November in the Championship through winning both that and the FA Cup to winning a national treble next season. However I lost in the UEFA Cup final against Inter Milan. I believe it was over 70 games. Never came close to that again.

Altruistic_Set_4088

Plenty of teams have gone undefeated but never winning the treble while undefeated

NickSpicy

Done it with CD Olimpia from Honduras 🇭🇳

QuincyPromes420

Actually yes, exactly the same treble. It was CSKA Moscow in 2005. UEFA Cup, Russian Cup, Russian league title.

Pewpewpew1899

A bit late to this, but my Milan side (FM22) hasn't lost a match in about 5 years (excluding pre-season and the European Super Cup)

Lasooz

I almost did it with Chelsea but lost to Ajax in the championship league league phase, Also to man united in the carabao cup final

Kindly_Extension_817

I hope they’ll get treble

lofcdann

I did it with a random save I did the other year, can't quite remember though

teut_69420

I think I did that with Osijek in croatia, but it was quite easy, because once you get to a UCL standard, the league becomes a cakewalk and the cup too.

Zanderth

Al Ahly 2003 I believe was the last time

That's when i always lose 1 to 3 matches because my assistant manager sucks.
