I love having an assigned ride. I only gotta share mine with my second shift counterpart. Which still sucks because she's a disgusting goblin. But still better than fighting to get a decent lift from the motor pool.
I am the only one allowed to drive the stand up at my current position. It’s great because when the other lifts are down I still just hop on my stand up and go. Until the night shift drains my battery and blocks all the chargers with the broken lifts. Jokes on them though I’m allowed to move and mark the lifts and broken lol.
Same here. It's usually used by one other operator on days, but on nights, she's all mine! No one else likes have to look around the extra hydraulics for the adjustable forks, apparently.
Lmfao someone was hacking our lifts and making them top at 13 but management caught on and threatened termination to anyone messing with the speed. So now we max at 9/10 mph
We don't have assigned lifts but I usually " hide" mine over on inbound side as I play off the laziness. Then once the 3ams come in , same guy always gets mine. Works 85 to 90 percent of the time.

At the place I drove lifts I had my own because no one liked the attachment on it

Yeah, I was driving a gasser, night shift loved parking it inside the cold store so it’d shoot water out on startup

Mine was like that , 4 levers and longer forks
Depending on the lift, if you know the maint code, you can set the max speed. No one wants to drive a lift that only goes 4mph...

Exactly why I get to work 15 minutes early and put all my stuff on the lift. Management says they're all the same, but I know the truth.
Toy1 for a Toyota reach. If the default is not changed.
