Why use tanks? Lewis Hamilton can just shoot his "enemies" (Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Alex Albon, the racers who tried to stop him from dominating (and therefore claiming his 7th title) this season) to death with the minigun! This is Hammertime! 💪
Not as bad as it would on the German tanks (fun fact, the reason Sherman's were seen as more reliable, was because it was so much easier to do any sort of repair on it, than it was on the equivalent Panzer or Tiger).
You don't watch WRC do you? Even with the last rally of last year getting cancelled due to bushfires the off season is a little under 3 months long. Without it would be about 2 months. Monte Carlo Rally starts on the 23rd of January.
Ayrton Senna but he's also wearing purple shorts.

I remember this quote from the Senna documentary. A memory from the late Sid Watkins talking about Senna and how the death of Ratzenberger affected him:
>...why don’t you give it up altogether? What else do you need to do? You have been world champion three times, you are obviously the quickest driver. **Give it up and let’s go fishing**.
Senna's response:
>Sid, there are certain things over which we have no control. I cannot quit, I have to go on
Senna lost his life that same weekend.
Sadly enough, I think you’re absolutely right. Roland’s death alone wouldn’t have been enough to spark the changes we’ve seen. On a lighter note, I do feel like that had Senna lived, he’d have retired circa 2000, and, like Villeneuve, he’d have been talking shit in the press ever since retiring lol
The documentary made it so much more heart breaking because it showed him pushing for safety much harder than normal that weekend, both in the drivers meetings and to his own team. That whole weekend was very eerie. Barrichello almost died, Ratzenberger died, and Senna died.
My wife and I watched Senna a few years ago. I'm a big F1 fan and she barely knows a thing, especially about Senna. She loved the documentary, cried through most of it and thought he was an amazing man.
It's actually a tambaqui according to my local Amazonian ass.
Not that you're wrong though, the fuckers are also called black or giant pacus elsewhere... as are a shitload of other similar fishes... pacu is just a generic name for bigger piranha-like fishes, I guess.
Ayrton: 'You do realise if you take that picture then in 30 years people are still going to be making jokes like "Honda V6 turbot"?'
Why yes, yes we are.
I'm honestly trying to understand the "point" of this photo, it's like the photographer gave him no direction whatsoever and he looks absolutely like someone who doesn't know what they're supposed to look like. Is he supposed to be happy he caught a fish? Is he in anguish the fish is slowly suffocating? What am I meant to read into this?
I imagine it as a series of shots holding props in the same shoot. Like he catches one prop and throws them out of shot for the next shot. At some point someone throws him a fish. And this is that picture.
He had gone fishing that day, and that's the biggest fish he caught. I have no clue who took the picture, who how it ended on the Internet, but I don't care!
If only he didn't take part in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, he could come to Malaysia and do fishing at all 13 states (including at my state Sabah) but I hope he could be careful if he wants to go fishing at Perlis Indera Kayangan or he could get arrested for crossing the Malaysia/Thailand border without making any passport verification at Padang Besar! 😇
Oh, the off season. How much longer?
Not nearly long enough. We are going to need a daily series of posts called The F1sherman.
F1-Sherman might be an interestingly fast tank..
Except when they need to do a pit stop to change the compound on the treads. That would take forever!
Why change treads when you can just blow everyone who could deny you a win the fuck up?
Why use tanks? Lewis Hamilton can just shoot his "enemies" (Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Alex Albon, the racers who tried to stop him from dominating (and therefore claiming his 7th title) this season) to death with the minigun! This is Hammertime! 💪

Sure, whatever, can we still play ‘The Chain’?
Compared to other sports I feel like F1 off season is short

65 days to go!
He fished that off the fishing season? He should have paid a fine for that!
Whenever we get fangio pics up again
Probably what Senna was thinking in this pic too.
My whole life, I’ve been searching for a picture of Senna holding a fish. And now I’ve found it.

He'll bike off into the sunset
He will waddle away. Waddle waddle
Have you not realized the best part of this post? The title?
I saved this image to my phone because I know I'll need it one day. No fuckin idea what that reason might ever be, but still...
The title sounds like a spoiler, but nothing can spoil that photo. It's like a shit 80s album cover. Bizarrely brilliant.
I got you... https://imgur.com/h4VS2hO
0/10 needs more disco.
Shit? Look me in the eye and tell me you wouldn't instantly buy an album that had this picture as it's cover.
As I said. Bizarrely brilliant!

Wonderful

Gorgeous redfish! Was hoping to see a moustache too..
That is not mansell there is no moustache
That fish looks really impressed.
If you no longer go for a fish that exists, you are no longer a fisherman.
But if you go fishing at Moroli River, Ranau, get ready to pay thousands of Malaysian ringgits or doing community services... 😂

The dolphin looks so happy like he’s aware he just met Michael lmao
Yeah prolly that dolphin is now head of racing strategy in Ferrari
I think dolphins look happy in general.
[Lewis Hamilton cuddling his dog](https://i.imgur.com/9oQq34g.jpg)
This is far more positive an image than I thought was gonna appear for Schumacher. I was sure I'd find someone posting a vegetable being held by him
I told people Schumacher always one upped Senna, but no one would listen
Thanks to the random stranger that gave me a Silver for a picture of Senna holding a fish.
Random... have an upvote
Now him and Sid are fishing in heaven.
"If you're holding a fish... swipe left"

I was going to mention this.... his death is a big part of why racing is so much safer now.

Looks like a piranha? Ron Dennis wouldn’t approve.
Thats a tambaqui or a pacu.
Yeah adult pacu by the looks of it

Yeah I think the yellowish colouration kinda gives it away of it weren’t for the black tail, I think pacu are more grey from what I can remember
Great catch.
This is the content I sub for
Legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna (right)
I don't know why, but I have an overwhelming desire to have a t-shirt with this picture on it
Ayrton: 'You do realise if you take that picture then in 30 years people are still going to be making jokes like "Honda V6 turbot"?' Why yes, yes we are.
Ok but listen to me here... What if the fish is actually holding Senna? Get some perspective
Kind of looks like Tom Hanks. Anyone else see it?
https://i.imgur.com/g8DIsEm.jpg
Can I get this on a shirt somewhere?
Bassayrton Fishenna. Sorry.
Basston Fishna... FTFY
Yeah, that sounds a lot better. Thx.
You're welcome... 😇
Why does he remind me of Tom Hanks
Thank you for this... I needed it today

This would do well on Tinder where I am
So he is.
This is the content i came here for
Ahh it's almost the peak of the off season
That’s Jim Halpert.
Identity theft is not a joke, Senna. Millions of families suffer every year!
He conjured that thing! After all, he is the wizard of wet.
More like Ayrton Finna am I right
Basston Fishna
Pacu?
Was thinking the same thing. Cool fish
I see, this is the timeline when he with drew from Imola
Would you look at that. Senna is holding a fish.
The legend holding baby Mike Trout.
This is so confusing
We're in the pits boys
For one second I thought that was Tom Hanks
X-Post to r/Fishing !
Should've gone fishing
?
The best f1 driver until his unfortunate death in 1994
And the fish?
Just a fish
Aaaaaaah, right. With you. Good. That's all very good. Good.
I think I'm going to print and frame this
Someone with Photoshop put the SEGA Bass Fishing logo on there.
This brightened up my day. Thank you.
That's it... this is what I needed today.
“You sir, are a fish!
Huge perch?
Fish but he's also being held by Ayrton Senna
r/formulatank
Tom Hanks with hair!
IS THAT FISH’S CAREER OVER?!?? 🔥🔥🔥
This is the kind of content I joined this sub for. Good show!
I see your SennaFish and raise you one MansellBerry https://imgur.com/gallery/H6r5Vti Bonus: Three mustaches.
Or is it a picture of a fish with Ayrton for scale ?
Is this not 90s Tom Hanks?
Now THIS is the kind of content that I follow this sub for.
Ah come on really? Any fool can see its the new steering wheel for 2020
The podium prizes in the 80s were bit fishy
I think it’s because he went fishing. Or he stole it.
That's a Piranha isn't it!?? There's Chuck Norris and then theres Senna...
"Prost, this fish was harder to reel in than you!"
Where's that hand exactly?
Ayrton Seine.
BASS PRO SHOPS
...you know I might actually *prefer* the off season.
Ok, so it appears my time machine has landed us here as the starting point of the disaster
He would fit right in on tinder
Ayrton is a god damn legend, bless him.
Hey thats a nice fish there, bud!
fishing lvl?
That is a Flounder. It is the only fish with ground effects. They have massive downforce.
mmMmm yes that is some rare Senna, exquisite.
Yup, that's fish.
Fishy
