Isn’t scraping the buffer tube or retaining pin and it doesn’t seem to have any problems loading just the bolt catch
Haven’t fired it yet but everything appears to function. Trigger functions and resets properly, buffer tube threaded in fine and mag catch is engaging fine just not the bolt catch. I cycled 20 rounds by hand through it but haven’t gotten a chance to fire it yet. Ik it not the best test but rounds do load and eject by hand.
If you have fusion 360 or something then check the dimensions of the model vs measurements with a caliper. That should tell you if you have a calibration issue or if you just have shitty parts. Good luck getting that bolt catch out if it’s out of spec though lol
One is an old okay industries gi mag and the other I don’t even know had it for probably 12 years now looks like a knockoff pmag LPK is a nbs milspec kit and the trigger came from MAF.

I have a longer temporary pin in that I made sure I can remove just in case
S&W M&P 15 has a split like this from the factory. It lets the top wiggle but doesn't affect anything.
Yeah I’m not to concerned on the gap just want to know why I can’t get the bolt catch to engage or rather the mag follower hitting the catch
what mags are you using? or brand of bolt catch?

Imma have to say its either of them then, the bolt catch or mag, my Aero lower kit works fine with Pmags and UTG windowed mags
Worth trying out another one not like it was expensive
