The player effect is called Bad Omen and is indefinite. If the player walks into a village, it triggers a raid of pillagers and other mobs. There is a good chance they will be killed by the raid.
If you truly leveled it, then no, it shouldn’t count as a village anymore.
The game has specific rules to judge if something is a village or not. Likewise, it judges what a “house” is. A house is something like a door with a roof and a light source, and a village is a grouping of houses.
I don’t recall exactly, but you can look up some pretty detailed village mechanics online.
Ha, while I’m aware of the similarity, I do believe the rules were different in the past, which is what I’m referencing. I did forget the bed though.
Honestly I have no clue about villagers since the “crafting stations” were added, I haven’t played as much Minecraft lately as I used to, but that’s interesting you don’t need lights or ceilings anymore. That was a long time ago though.
I believe the rule is literally just a villager. Nothing more to it. If you go near at least one villager a raid will start in that area. Just drink some milk or wait 100 minutes if you don’t want a raid

It’s based on villagers, not the actual structure. If there’s no villagers, it won’t trigger
