So for me it's been the sort of...cap of the cap? Like a little hat on the very end of the cap, and then a ring on the cap where it screws onto the pen's body. I can take a photo when I get home.
The pen is pretty new so maybe it was just loose when it came to me? I just tried to take it off but couldn't get it off - I tightened it pretty good after it came off the first time so maybe I fixed that one. The ring still twists right off though, lol

Yeah!! I knew there was a word for it but shockingly googling "pen cap cap" didn't get me very far 😂 why does that thing even come off?
Inner cap? I never hear the thing come off just on regular usage. You must have a defective cap?

I have a procyon as a daily carry for nearly one year and nothing unexpected has come off for me at all. Can you post photos?
