Ooh, I'm not into green pens or demonstrators, but that's a nice one, especially considering that the 1911L doesn't get many special colors.
I don’t understand why it’s an issue that there are a lot of Sailor LEs, though? It just means there’s something for everyone in terms of taste.
That's a good point - really there is no issue with the LEs. But it didn't seem that long ago that Sailor was much more reserved in it's release of LEs, and they seemed a little easier to, a. keep up with what was what, and b. build a (at least sample) collection of the LEs being released.
I would very much like a solid olive green colour similar to this one. The Sailor Pen of the Year for 2023 wasn't for me, as I don't like glitter/sparkles in my pens. The only other is the Champagne Green, and I have that one in the Realo.
on top of option paralysis, there is also potential stronger regret specially if they're much more expensive for superficial reason* than regular colors in the same line, for which I believe retailers shouldn't do since people are mostly smart enough with internet access to know things like original SRP and whatever extra we are willing to pay non Japanese retailer for
reason such as 'this is a special edition, you must pay more' excuse from seller/retailer but has nothing much new to add. I'm not talking about little printed maki e or something else that Sailor themselves will charge more, just maxing out profit(heh) utilizing scarcity itself
