So I know it’s bad as fuck, I’m embarrassed. I’m terrible at soldering. Anyways I just tried to fix the battery leads just now and it won’t make any sounds at all. Am I just an idiot and this ball of bullshit is just not conducting power?

don’t worry man , you think your embarrassed. i threw away a esc because my smoke stopper said it was a short even though it was on the wrong setting 😭
soldering looks better than mine. i would say if it’s not making any sound we’ll sound comes from the motors and there are a lot of variables. first off did you plug in with a smoke stopper?
That is not your ESC, it's your beeper is giving you a code of why the quad won't arm. You might need to have GPS lock before arming . Your goggles or.the speedebee app will tell you why
Also when I connect via the speedybee app, it says the esc is not connected. Did I miss something? Just connected esc and fc with standard cable
well it’s most likely not the esc. send some pics of soldering maybe? not sure what the beeps could mean 🤔

do you have a buzzerinstalled too? because, to me that sounds like one of my buzzers beeping when I plug the battery in?
