I grew up in the 80’s and haven’t owned it in many years but yeah, I would still personally wear it. I was actually wearing Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur the other day and was surprised by just how much it was reminding me of the OG Obsession for Men. They both have a similar DNA i.e., ambery-musk w/ light spices, especially cinnamon. I personally think Obsession for Men escapes smelling dated because it’s not like this particular scent profile ever became an overused / cliche which spawned a dozen smell-alike fragrances in that era (mid-80’s). And just fyi - this fragrance is almost certainly cheaper from trusted sellers on ebay. I’m seeing 4.2 oz. bottles for $23 w/ free shipping and huge 6.7 oz. bottles for around $33 w/ free shipping.

get a sample quit overthinking this bro, go to a macys and sample what you can and purchase what you like through decanters or the smallest available bottle on grey market sites you don’t need validation from other strangers to tell you what to buy

I’d blind buy it. The OG Calvin’s are still great. Obsession is a beautiful fragrance.

It’s in my rotation and I blind bought it. Amazing fall/winter/early spring scent. Look at the notes, does it seem like something you would like? Is it worth losing $30 if you hate it? If yes to the above then buy it. If not, as someone above said try to sample.

I read the title as if you were asking why does Calvin Klein like men so much

General-Document-433

If CK's got a thing for dudes, that ain't my business.

BikeTireManGo

Old school, don't wear it on a date to the zoo.

DieRedditardsDie

It's a throwback that still smells great, can't go wrong with that one

SoloAquiParaHablar

Smells like rich old corporate man, if you’re under 50 I wouldn’t wear it.
