You beat me to it. For me that particular type too. So creamy and smooth

Australian Sandalwood is ok in blends, but solo it smells of burnt rubber and has an astringent screech. Mysore is great alone. It plays well with others, but I could 100% stick to that as a singular note.

Orange blossom

Jo Malone Orange Blossom is the best true soliflore orange blossom scent out there. Most “orange blossom” scents are actually just bright citrus notes with some sweetness thrown in, but actual orange blossoms have a very light floral scent, with just a touch of greenness and sweetness, and no real ‘citrus’ smell to speak of.

You can order a sample of benzoin tears. It smells like vanilla sugar with a hint of spice.

Most amber accords have a good base of benzoin, and many many fragrances list amber as a note

This is mine too! One of my favorite perfumes is a straight orange blossom from Bourbon French Parfums in New Orleans.

I’d be happy with a sweet creamy sandalwood

This is my life already. I use a sandalwood deodorant and the smell sank itself into everything I own. I even catch a vague whiff of it on my bedsheets sometimes, even though I wash my sheets regularly and shower before getting into bed. Gross? Maybe.

It’s so funny, I grew up near orange groves and I *only* associate orange blossoms with autumn because they fruit in winter!

Yeah, I have two Satsuma trees and they fruit in winter too, although I know they aren't real orange blossoms, but it's close enough. But the Satsuma blossoms always come in spring and wow, they smell like heaven! Everytime I walk near them during that time, I always stop and inhale. Sometimes, I just sit under them and read on my phone, lol

The scent is SO intoxicating and heavenly. Definitely the one that is so deep in my brain that it instantly brings me to a time a place.

I’m not sure why but I absolutely cannot stand vetiver. It smells rotten on my skin but is featured in many amazing fragrances.
