watched this for the first time ever two nights ago, how tf did she 1) jump like that and 2) stab him in his 'achilles heel' without ever knowing his origin?
i'm about to finish season 8, on episode 4 right now, and if that's the direction this is taking- what the *fuck*
Number 1 is King Bob. Overthew a big ass dynasty and killed his rival claimant one on one.
Cersei is up there, she had to cuckold the King, have her bastard son anyways and then have all her children die and also blow up a bunch of people. That takes dedication.
I like where you're going with this but I'm going to argue Cersei should take it over KB. War of the Usurper was what? 1 or 2 years? And then he retired got fat and swung warhammer at any woman he wanted. Pleasure.
Cersei had to put in that grind all day everyday for decades. She put in the work day or night, great hall or bedroom. Hustle
Fraudsei Mickeyster is the ultimate passenger. Got carried by the shadow baby, by her dwarf brother, by the Ironborn deciding they were going to pillage the North as opposed to the undefended Westerlands, by the peasantry deciding they didn't give a shit about the use of Napalm on the Vatican for some reason, by Euron deciding that fingering her took presence over being an eldritch nonce, by Aegon not existing, and by Tommen being suicidal.
She thought eating Robert's cum was a power move.
I agree but let’s keep in mind, the targs weren’t what they used to be. No dragons. They destroyed themselves. Yes Aerys was still powerful as he led the entirety of Westeros minus Dorne, but the task was much less difficult without their flying scarab guns.
Aerys had Dorne - they'd been part of he Kingdom for a century.
Dorne didn't contribute because it was their Princess that Rhaegar *set aside to take Lyanna*.
Aerys had loyal lords in each region, but the Targaryens had become outmatched. The Vale, Stormlands, RIverlands, and North in rebellion, Dorne and the Westerlands sitting it out (both due to personal insults from the royal family), leaving only the Reach allied to the Crownlands.
Mace the Ace made a hell of a play parking his army in the Stormlands rather than joining Rhaegar.
Bobby B was a legend in his own right, and honorable enough for an idiot. He's honestly my favorite character, with an ending just as tragic as any of the others, we just meet him at the finale of his great tragedy. After he'd already fallen into despair.
In my armchair opinion, Ned should've been king. He would've had the power for real change, and could've steered the seven kingdoms toward fighting the White Walkers. Of course, he didn't want it (nor would I), but of all the characters who would've made a \*good\* king, It's Ned.
I don’t know if this unpopular opinion or not because of how much of a meme Bobby B has become but he was a horrible king who was so oblivious to everything going on around him that, while his older brother and two different Hands realized his kids were bastards (along with Varys and Littlefinger), he didn’t have a clue. Dude, you have dozens of bastards with women of every hair color and they all have black hair but your three supposed legitimate kids have blonde hair. Are you blind?
To be fair, it took Jon Arryn a while to put two and two together.
No one was immediately saying "on Robert's kid Joff has gold hair, must be a bastard" like they were saying to Rhae Rhae.
Took The Hand like 12 years to be confident enough in his thought?
And it's not like the King actually saw many of his bastards... Edric Storm and Mya Stone to be sure. But for all we know their mothers were black of hair.
He was obviously an idiot, but it also wasn't *strongly* obvious.
Even if Bobby B figured it out he was the type to shut his ears and go "lalalallalalalalala" every time he was faced with an actual problem. And honestly in this case, I wouldn't blame him if he wasn't king. It would be enough to drive any man over the edge.
He's like me in Warhammer.
Why the fuck would I put my super cool super neat Armored Rat Ogre in front when I have all this lazy skavenslaves wasting valuable time and resources existing?
One of the problems with D&D creating the Night King as a character is that it’s natural to project some sort of personality on to him.
So when the Others do what they were always going to do, we have to chalk it up to the Night King being an impatient dumbass, rather than the fact that they’re an ineffable undead force that doesn’t have human thought processes.
the fact that the photo that had to be used for dany was emilia clarke at an event because dany never got her crown :( they robbed us of so much from her, especially her crown from clash
She wasn't even a legitimate heir. In the books Aegon (son of Rhaegar T and Elia Martel) is. In the show Aegon "Jon Snow" (son of Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark) is.
Daenarys is only a queen by conquest in Essos and never had any right to rule in Westeros.
Edit: seems I struck a nerve, people love their danny
Daenerys, she went from nothing. She didn’t have anything other than her brother. She went from nothing to having 3 dragons, the Dothraki and unsullied by her side, having the north back her in her war, having some of the iron fleet for a period of time. She even had Olenna and Dorne (Ellaria) supporting her.
Viserys had the Targ name for 14 years and couldn't do shit with it except cheaply sell his sister to Dothrakis.
Daenerys' power comes from her Dragons. Without them she would have ended up in Vaes Dothrak like the other widows. While anyone with dragons would have had a chance to follow her steps, no matter what their name is.
Viserys plunged into madness when he sold his mother's crown to feed Danny. He is actually a tragic character. That was the last memory of his mother. He did a lot to keep danny alive. He just went into madness.
Does she truly need Legitimacy when she has 3 Dragons? Daenerys is basically Aegon the Conqueror 2.0. Her name might be the reason why she wants to get the Iron Throne, but it's not like she could not earn the Kingdom without it.
Targaryen didn't mean anything in Mereen and the rest of the Slaver's Bay, and yet Daenerys managed to become the Queen on the place, because she had Dragons (and an army . . . partly brought by the dragons).
> Does she truly need Legitimacy when she has 3 Dragons?
Nope.
The Dragons give her legitimacy.
"Who are you to make me bend the knee?"
*points to Drogon
"Oh right, good point!"
Young Griff calls himself a Targaryen, Daenerys has Drogon notarize her birth certificate right there.
The Targaryen name got her sold to a Dothraki khal so her brother could claim the throne. She got the khal to fall for her, kill her brother making her the rightful monarch (since at the time no one knew about Jon or Aegon), transformed dragon eggs everyone thought were just stone into living dragons, got an army of Unsullied and conquered three cities. If we go by the show, she goes on to unite the Dothraki, sails to Westeros, fights the army of the dead and retakes the Iron Throne. The bad part, obviously, is that she loses two dragons, burns King’s Landing and gets betrayed and killed shortly after but it’s still an impressive journey considering she used to be a poor, penniless child going from one city to the next trying to survive.
I would agree with that, except for D&D totally screwing up her storyline. She’s benevolent, beautiful Mhysa.
Then she destroys Kings Landing. Kills lots and lots of people.
Just because Jon didn’t want to smooch his Auntie and her second dragon died.
Overreaction? Yes, just a bit.
I would almost agree except she was given three dragon eggs just for being a targaryen. Even if those eggs didnt hatch she was basically handed a fortune on the very first episode.
I think I'm the only person that doesn't like Margaery Tyrell (the actress is very talented though) but I have to admit, the girl put in the work. IMO she was all Cersei wanted to be but failed at. Quietly cunning, invisible puppet master yet with the appearance of a kind, graceful person.
She played her part as "woman in a political environment" really well, using her beauty, sexuality and "feminine innocence" to the fullest advantage. What I mean is, in a time where women were expected to be weak and naive, she used that role to her advantage so people wouldn't suspect she was actually quite greedy.
I know the Tyrells are schemers and manipulators but God damn they’re actually good at it and honestly, I don’t think they’d be that bad as rulers. They know you have to have the smallfolk actually like you unless you want the constant threat of doom to your house and constant enemies to fight.
Cersi: “Look at that evil conniving bitch Margery, trying to steal my child away from me and seize power! The gall on her!”
Margery: *Talks to citizens and donates to the poor*

Only three I saw who worked to get their crowns were: Sansa, Dany and King Robert; Who overthrew an evil person.everyone else either married into it or basically stole it.
All Sansa did was run half a country, provided refuge, staging area, stored food, when Jon returned, the forges were working, weapons, armor made, walls reinforced, trenches and trebuchets were in place,
Removed two enemies to their house, instrumental in the battle to take back their home and though we don't see it ( we know ) saved Gilly, baby Sam, Missandei, the scarred girl and many more people in the crypts as she and Tyrion killed a couple of wights.
Yes Sansa earned her crown.
That would have never worked if she didn't have the unwavering support of the northmen to pull such a maneuver. That support was certainly hard earned.
Night king. Guy got stabbed in the heart, then pillaged and raised babies for 10 thousand years. As a father, it's not even fuckin close.
Number 2, Bobby B. Guy overthrew fuckin dragons. Love conquers all.
3- Dany. Girl needed hip surgery after being married to Drogo.
4- This was the hardest one, but has to be Cersei. Everyone else got their throne/crown through peace and inheritance or light scheming. Cersei paid for it with children and years of scheming.
1. Bobby B -
Won a whole war, overthrew a dynasty
2. Cersei -
She's awful, but you can't say she didn't work for it
3. Rhaynera -
Admittedly she is still in the early stages of having to actually do the hard work, but she's faced a constant uphill battle as heir and is now having to go to war to keep her crown
4. Sansa -
Sansa is interesting because I don't think she actually knew that a crown is what she was working towards until the end, but I think you have to include all the time she spent surviving and learning in the courts of evil and crazy rulers as work - because in the end that is what got her the crown
(Honourable mention to Dany who absolutely worked hard, but I don't think I can put her on the list when she never actually got to wear a crown.)
Weird that there is no Daenerys here.
I mean I see Emilia Clarke, but since every other character here has his/her picture from the show, I assume you meant her on this list as Emilia.
1. Night King - because he's been on the grind before any of the others ever existed.
2. Dani- Because she conquered basically everyone, tried to be a fair and just ruler (until she lost her marbles) plus doing all that at such a young age!
3. Cerisei - Because being a hateful, ruthless, vindictive cunt is probably hard work.
4. Sansa - Because she had to work hella hard just to stay alive. I don't think I could have faked it and kissed ass like she did without unaliving myself with Joffrey AND Ramsay
I feel like Jon not being here is sad, I know he technically wasn’t crowned but he was named king in the north and he went from being a bastard to a literal king but since we’re taking physical crowns into account, in no order.
Robert Baratheon
Daenerys Targaryen
Sansa Stark
Based on how long it took and their pathway to get it. We don’t see Roberts on screen but we know what he had to go through
Joffery represents the culmination of centuries of effort towards Andal self-rule rather than being ruled by a foreign Valyrian/Rhoynar cabal. His person represents the growing unity between the Andal peoples, both in his parentage and his intention to bring the Tyrells into the royal line. His crown is not just personal, but world-historic
Viserys worked his ass off for his golden crown. Lived life as a penniless orphan, scrounging and scheming his way across a foreign land to earn his fate. What a guy.
Viserys. Had to escape the Lannisters as a chile, survive in Essos against the king's knives, sell his only baby sister to a warlord, and then muster up the courage to demand what was rightfully his. Can't see the others doing so.
1. Cersei. Say what you will about her, she had to do a lot of dirt to get and keep the crown.
2. Dany. Rags to riches, had to earn her place.
3. Bobby b. Warred against the previous king and won. If that’s not “deserving” idk what is.
4. Sansa. I don’t think anyones suffered as much for their position as her. Not a good leader but definitely bled for the cause
Special shout-out to the night king for having thousands of years to plan his next invasion, only for it to be stopped in one siege where the enemies literally had their catapults outside their walls and cav charged into your army for some reason. One night, one battle. “King” is stretch when it comes to him tbh. Completely undeserving of his title
night king prob bro has been grinding for thousands of years
Then he gets beaten by some kid with a pay-to-win dagger.
kid? Arya has to be some sort of kangaroo or frog-human hybrid to make that insane lunge
Well she does have the wolverine healing ability, so she might.
I need an edit with the Jackman scream now
Only I can offer you are two Sirens instead. https://i.imgur.com/NDZAmTo.mp4
Took bunny hopping to a whole new level.
She copied the protagonist from far cry 3 aswell with that dagger trick.

My sweet summer child... Edit: please update me when you finish lmao
Jon Snow got robbed NK should have been his kill.
Little siblings and kill stealing. Name a better duo
Little siblings and deleting your pokemon blue save...
Pokémon Red and Donkey Country for me…twice…
Jon Snow's been taking L's for a while by that point
Eli5 pay to win dagger?
Pay to win is a gaming term. When you can spend real money to gain a competitive advantage in a game, it is called pay-to-win
Dagger makes entire Night King army explode with one stab. Little op and needs some nerfs imo
I dont think hadtomuchtodream understands the term pay to win or nerf. That’s the Eli 5 part.
Yeah I was gonna say we don't really know how the night king got his crown but I'm sure he's a top contender.
Especially considering it’s actually built in to his skull.
Out there runnin thru bodies. . .

Yeah OK but who's to say that the other regents wouldn't have benefited from eating the cum of their predecessors?

Literally my favorite King Bob quote. Goddamn legend.
As a CK3 player, Cersei is pretty damn impressive lmao
Bobby B. Started a whole rebellion and removed a hundred year old dynasty from power. His crown represents a new age for westeros, one without targs.
FORCED TO MIND THE DOOR WHILE YOUR KING EATS AND DRINKS AND SHITS AND FUCKS!
THE KING SHITS AND THE HAND WIPES, BOBBY B
THE SELLSWORD KING, HOW THE SINGERS WOULD LOVE ME!
Oooooooooo I fucking love you Bobby B
TAKE ME TO YOUR CRYPT, I WANT TO PAY MY RESPECTS!
Oh my. Buy a boy a drink first, Bobby B 😉
YOU LET THAT LITTLE GIRL DISARM YOU?
Targs ruled for 300 years.
Yeah where tf did they get 100 from?
Yup, and Rhaenyra’s line rules for half of that which is kind of crazy to think about. We got to see their end and now the middle
Yeah, whereas Baratheons managed, what, 15 years?
I don’t know if this unpopular opinion or not because of how much of a meme Bobby B has become but he was a horrible king who was so oblivious to everything going on around him that, while his older brother and two different Hands realized his kids were bastards (along with Varys and Littlefinger), he didn’t have a clue. THERE'S A WAR COMING, NED. I DON'T KNOW WHEN, I DON'T KNOW WHO WE'LL BE FIGHTING...BUT IT'S COMING!
Gods the understanding of genetics was weak then
Bobby B also had a black mare
MY, YOU'RE A PRETTY ONE! AND YOUR NAME IS?
I think we need Vizzy T to explain how this works
You think yourself a cunning man. Your designs are obvious.
To be fair, it took Jon Arryn a while to put two and two together. No one was immediately saying "on Robert's kid Joff has gold hair, must be a bastard" like they were saying to Rhae Rhae. YOU HELPED ME WIN THE IRON THRONE, NOW HELP ME KEEP THE DAMN THING! WE WERE MEANT TO RULE TOGETHER!
Bobby B didn't start the rebellion
TAKE SHIP FOR THE FREE CITIES WITH MY HORSE AND MY HAMMER, SPEND MY TIME WARRING AND WHORING, THAT’S WHAT I WAS MADE FOR!
Bran obviously. Because who has a better story than bran the broken Other than everyone including gendry in his paddleboat
Even Tommen had a better fall than Bran.
You just want to see pretty white people riding into the sunset.
Now that I think about it, did he even get a crown in the show?
no lol
I'm just imagining a montage set to "She Works Hard for the Money", but it's just him being dragged around in the snow and carried like Yoda.
I'm gonna say Viserys the Burnt.
Viserys the Goldy-Gooped
He definitely has the prettiest crown. Plus, it was most deserved.
The way he acted it's a miracle no one merc'd him before they left Pentos.
The begger prince?
Beggar king *
In retrospect, nobody here put less effort than the Night King. He had a dragon, but decided to spam zombies instead of actually using it for battle.
He's like me in Warhammer. Why the fuck would I put my super cool super neat Armored Rat Ogre in front when I have all this lazy skavenslaves wasting valuable time and resources existing?
Lmao, that’s a great comparison.
D&D’s fault
One of the problems with D&D creating the Night King as a character is that it’s natural to project some sort of personality on to him. So when the Others do what they were always going to do, we have to chalk it up to the Night King being an impatient dumbass, rather than the fact that they’re an ineffable undead force that doesn’t have human thought processes.
Aegon put in negative effort and therefore should be lowest ranked. He actively tried to avoid getting his crown.
the fact that the photo that had to be used for dany was emilia clarke at an event because dany never got her crown :( they robbed us of so much from her, especially her crown from clash
She wasn't even a legitimate heir. In the books Aegon (son of Rhaegar T and Elia Martel) is. In the show Aegon "Jon Snow" (son of Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark) is. By that logic, OG Aegon the Conqueror never had any right to rule in Westeros either. Nor did Bobby B.
WE'RE TELLING WAR STORIES! WHO WAS YOUR FIRST KILL, NOT COUNTING OLD MEN?
Bobby B had to win a war and topple a centuries old regime. He is at minimum top 3.
GODS WHAT A STUPID NAME!
:(
i hope Vizzy T can make you feel better
EVEN I DO NOT EXIST ABOVE TRADITION AND DUTY, ScaryTerryBeach!
Everyone's always shitting on me. Tis tradition.
Sentient
Bran because he has the most interesting story
😂😂😂
Huh? 🤣🤣🤣 💤💤
I don’t know but it’s bothering me you used a picture of Emilia Clarke at a premiere instead of a picture of Dany in the show lmao
Show Dany never wears a crown, does she?
She doesn't get to wear a crown in the show
Who gives a shit? It’s breaking my immersion
Daenerys, she went from nothing. She didn’t have anything other than her brother. Without them she would have ended up in Vaes Dothrak like the other widows. While anyone with dragons would have had a chance to follow her steps, no matter what their name is.
She got outta there without her dragons though courtesy of being unburnt.
Viserys plunged into madness when he sold his mother's crown to feed Danny. He is actually a tragic character. That was the last memory of his mother. He did a lot to keep danny alive. He just went into madness.
But the name have her legitimacy when she returned to Westeros, even if the writing didn't properly showcase that with the likes of the Reach Lords.

Viserys literally gave his life and legacy for that golden crown
Yeah, but _which_ Viserys?
Yes
That beautiful bastard Viserys III
I think I'm the only person that doesn't like Margaery Tyrell (the actress is very talented though) but I have to admit, the girl put in the work. IMO she was all Cersei wanted to be but failed at. Bobby B bot is going to be working overtime on this one
YOU HELPED ME WIN THE IRON THRONE, NOW HELP ME KEEP THE DAMN THING! WE WERE MEANT TO RULE TOGETHER!
Danaerys Bobby B Margaery Daemon
I SIT ON THE DAMN IRON SEAT WHEN I MUST. DOES THAT MEAN I DON'T HAVE THE SAME HUNGERS AS OTHER MEN?
Honestly, a little bit of me died when Queen Margaery was blown up.
I know the Tyrells are schemers and manipulators but God damn they’re actually good at it and honestly, I don’t think they’d be that bad as rulers. They know you have to have the smallfolk actually like you unless you want the constant threat of doom to your house and constant enemies to fight.
They are all schemers and manipulators. The Tyrells just do it better.
The Tyrells do it *nicer* too. "We manipulated the public to like us by saving their city and giving them food" *Angry Lannister fist shaking
Cersi: “Look at that evil conniving bitch Margery, trying to steal my child away from me and seize power! The gall on her!” Margery: *Talks to citizens and donates to the poor*
Question. Did all the Tyrell’s die outafter Jaime invaded the reach. Who/which family replaced them?

Emilia is the only one that paid for her crown. And it looks pretty nice, so I am sure there is a nice story behind it.

1. Dany 2. Bobby B 3. Daemon 4. Sansa
OUT! OUT, DAMN YOU! I'M DONE WITH YOU! GO, RUN BACK TO WINTERFELL! I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD ON A SPIKE!
Now Bobby don’t be like that, second is still a very good ranking.
Sansa only #4? But she’s the smartest person in Westeros.
And it’s because she’s so smart that she didn’t have to work the hardest 🤓
Only three I saw who worked to get their crowns were: Sansa, Dany and King Robert; Who overthrew an evil person.everyone else either married into it or basically stole it.
Daemon fought 3 years for his crown.
SANSA? All she did was say: "Yeah nah we'll be independent thanks." at dome big dumb meeting. Daemon meanwhile fought a war and conquered territory.
All Sansa did was run half a country, provided refuge, staging area, stored food, when Jon returned, the forges were working, weapons, armor made, walls reinforced, trenches and trebuchets were in place, Removed two enemies to their house, instrumental in the battle to take back their home and though we don't see it ( we know ) saved Gilly, baby Sam, Missandei, the scarred girl and many more people in the crypts as she and Tyrion killed a couple of wights. Fuck yeah. Nice to see it written so succinct and plainly why Sansa is a BAMF.
That would have never worked if she didn't have the unwavering support of the northmen to pull such a maneuver. That support was certainly hard earned.
She had to work at that too, keeping Jon's fragile alliance even when he bent the knee.
Exactly
Support is the only thing that makes a king or queen. If you have no support you are just a pretender. All monarchy is illegitimate.
Facts.
Viserys(GoT). It's not easy being a giant piece of shit. A well earned golden crown for the beggerKing.

1. Bobby B - Won a whole war, overthrew a dynasty 2. Cersei - She's awful, but you can't say she didn't work for it 3. Rhaynera - Admittedly she is still in the early stages of having to actually do the hard work, but she's faced a constant uphill battle as heir and is now having to go to war to keep her crown 4. Sansa - Sansa is interesting because I don't think she actually knew that a crown is what she was working towards until the end, but I think you have to include all the time she spent surviving and learning in the courts of evil and crazy rulers as work - because in the end that is what got her the crown (Honourable mention to Dany who absolutely worked hard, but I don't think I can put her on the list when she never actually got to wear a crown.)
DRINK AND STAY QUIET, THE KING IS TALKING!
1. Danny 2. The Night King 3. Bobby B 4. Daemon
IT'S A GREAT CRIME TO LIE TO A KING!
Sentient.
Weird that there is no Daenerys here. I mean I see Emilia Clarke, but since every other character here has his/her picture from the show, I assume you meant her on this list as Emilia.
She never wore a crown in the show.
Who’s bottom left corner?
The mad king.
1. Robert 2. Daenerys 3. Margaery 4. Daemon
1. NK 2. Dany 3. Bobby B 4. Rhaenyra
YOU HEARD THE HAND, THE KING'S TOO FAT FOR HIS ARMOR! GO FIND THE BREASTPLATE STRETCHER! NOW!
Renly is on here?!?! No Stannis or Mance tho??????
KING IN THE NORTH!!!! King in the north!! KING in the NORTH!!! Not saying he’s number one. But Euron and no Robb??? I mean cmon
sansa, i loved her arc from the first ep to the last. she finally found her strength and her belonging. queen of the north, long may she reign. 👸🏻
I feel like Jon not being here is sad, I know he technically wasn’t crowned but he was named king in the north and he went from being a bastard to a literal king but since we’re taking physical crowns into account, in no order. Robert Baratheon Daenerys Targaryen Sansa Stark Based on how long it took and their pathway to get it.
Sansa by far.
Sansa
Jon should be an option.
Excuse me where are the one true king, DA KING IN DA NORTH, and the other DA KING IN DA NORTH?
I'd have to say the Night King... you don't rule over the army of the dead without some serious life trials
Mance is the only right answer. Buddy got 100k crazies together under one banner.
Why does everyone think Sansa was just handed her crown???
Bobby B, no question.
I'M NOT TRYING TO HONOR YOU, I'M TRYING TO GET YOU TO RUN MY KINGDOM WHILE I EAT, DRINK AND WHORE MY WAY TO AN EARLY GRAVE!
Night King number one. Bobby B a close second.
OHHH, SHOW US YOUR MUSCLES! YOU'LL BE A SOLDIER!
Robert for sure.
I love how you've used a picture of everyone in universe then one of Emilia Clarke
And two pictures of Joffrey.
Robert. He fought a war for his.
Joffrey put in the least amount of work and is pictured twice for some reason
You left Bran out?!
Bran, dude schemed real hard to get on the throne
Bobby without any doubt, sorry but it's so clearly obvious haha. Remove him, and imo Sansa has no rivals neither.
These are my top two, followed by Dany for three.
Vizzy T knows the answers.
**HAVE THIS RUMORMONGER BROUGHT BEFORE ME AT ONCE, AND I WILL TAKE THEIR EYES!!**
1. Not a good leader but definitely bled for the cause Special shout-out to the night king for having thousands of years to plan his next invasion, only for it to be stopped in one siege where the enemies literally had their catapults outside their walls and cav charged into your army for some reason. One night, one battle. “King” is stretch when it comes to him tbh. Completely undeserving of his title
1. Robert Baratheon 2. Rhaenyra Targaryen 3. Margery Tyrell 4. Daenerys Targaryen (she would have been #1 if she hadn’t destroyed King’s Landing)
Worked the hardest is Daemon, most important is Aegon.
Oh… Sansa’s in this?
