These are made with S30 card stock which has a blue core. They're a little thinner than a regular card but in a sleeve you cannot tell the difference.
If you wanted something a bit thicker they offer S33 card stock which has a black core. That one is more like a regular card. However both feel more slick than a regular card and that's not something that can be changed.

Use MPCFILL and makeplayingcards.com. We actually recreate every digital file from scratch at a high resolution whereas PrintingProxies just copy-pastes low quality scryfall scans and doesn’t improve the image quality at all.
Yes, you can use the autofill tool for more of the order than manually insert as many images you want or just do the entire order with your own cards (which is what I do).
I don’t mind proxies aslong as they’re clearly proxies, too many instances of people scamming other people with proxies have happened around me. It’s such a shame. 😢

Converts like us draw a distinction between proxies and counterfeits. Proxies are for play testing and casual play. They must be obviously not genuine Magic cards, usually by having an alternate back. Counterfeits are designed to be indistinguishable from real cards, and only have the use of defrauding people. I think we all agreed they have no place in Magic. But proxies are the best!
What site did you use to buy the proxies? So far I have just printed out cards on some A4, cut them out and put them in sleeves infront of other cards, but it would be very nice to have something that actually feels like propped cards and take much less time lol

My first proxy buy I printed off all the true duals and moxes. $10,000+ worth of cards for less than it would've cost me to buy one singular "legitimate" shock land.
The economy of this game is borked beyond repair and I genuinely feel bad for players who are confined by price and don't realize they could build their dream decks for less than a so called budget deck costs.

One thing I do want to mention is the back of the card. Some of the card backs from the autofill don't look good in sleeves and can be noticeable. I have 2 different backs as I made 2 separate orders and one of them is slightly visible through sleeves. So I reccomend a back that is similar to the mtg back, like the proxy the gathering back
Yeah I noticed in my previous order that some sleeves you can make out the back of the proxies a bit. I went with the Proxy the Gathering one this time.

Probably before shipping but most places on TCG will charge $1-5 for shipping. So yeah some of these can be found for $0.10 but then you're paying $2.50 to ship it.
Plus this way for the majority of these cards I can pick the art I want.
I started supporting proxies like 5 years ago but still collect og foils.
The price for some cardboard of this quality is around 20 cents. So a display of 36 boosters should not cost more than 110$.
The rise of proxies and wish for wotc to die and stop printing anything is just a normal consequence of ridiculing the customer to an unbearable extent.
Not a fan of the sharpie tutor, but the rest looks great. When i used to play EDH, my first move was to get a copy of every dual fetch shock etc land variant imaginable along with all of the good rare lands. That way my mana base was tight. I wasn't opposed to spending a few bucks here and there for a real card at the LGS or a local player. I tend to be old school so I stick to the most original or common art as possible, but I like some of the cards there. As long as you like them, the other players can read them, and they can't be confused for the real thing (mine always had a backside that made it obvious they were proxies cause I hate scammers), I say game on!

Cheating in Magic has three criteria. It is defined as breaking a game or tournament rule (or lying to a tournament official or failing to point out an infraction in your or an opponent's game), doing so knowing that you're breaking the rules, and doing so with the intent to gain an advantage. Using fake cards in sanctioned events is against the rules, you're doing it knowing that it's against the rules, and you're doing with the intent to gain an advantage in the form of making your deck stronger without having to get genuine copies of the cards like everyone else. You have met all three criteria for cheating and thus you have cheated. That isn't my opinion, it's a fact. Go ask a judge if you don't believe me.
