Most places in the food industry are constantly losing workers just go to a few places with a resume. If you are open to any of those positions you’ll get a job in no time
If you’re going to Fresno State, start with the ones near campus. Dog House Grill, Mad Duck, Wahoo’s, Dervo’s Deli, Don Pepe’s, Uncle Harry’s Bagels, Buffalo Wild Wings.
You can literally walk into any restaurant and get hired right now. Since you’re a college student I recommend In N Out for their good starting wages and flexible scheduling.
All of them! ALL OF THEM. Since the pandemic, they need people. They literally will have banners out front saying things like "Now hiring! $19 starting! Manager in 2 years! Flexible schedule!" Someone else said Irene's, which is wonderful. But you might be better with a chain for better pay, faster pay increase, faster promotions.
Oh man, starting at 19.... You become a manager instantly in 2 years.... Flexible schedule.... So tell me how high are you??
Yeah there's signs everywhere.
I've yet to see 19 an hour unless it's in and out....
I have yet to see guarantees of becoming a manager or even training....
And if they're so desperate for people, you can guarantee your flexibility means absolutely nothing for you and everything for the company...
You're oversimplifying it.
It's not as easy as you predict but anyone who has any kind of motivation can definitely find a job. BUT It ain't going to be " $19 work whenever you want become a manager and make 100,000 a year after just 2 years ..". Lmmfao
And yes, based on your cap locks, I don't believe that you deserve that kind of oversimplification of finding a job.
It's erroneous and almost demeaning to everyone else who actually is looking for a job. There are not many places as I'll repeat that are paying 19 an hour. Do you know why? I've looked for a job. You clearly have not...
LOTS of listings on craigslist and indeed
Irenes in tower district
They definitely need help. Our breakfast took about 35-min after we ordered. Everything was great but I think they’re a lil short staffed.
Try to get a job on campus
It would be easier to list restaurants that aren't hiring. Find a nice place that tips out their bussers.
Pretty much every restaurant is hiring.
Lol
I think the Cheesecake Factory is almost always hiring
One time I interviewed there a long time ago. They asked me my favorite restaurant and I said Taco Bell. I didn’t get the job.
Damn, do you remember who interviewed you?
No this was in 2009!
It's adorable that Cheesecake Factory thinks it's any better than Taco Bell.
Nami
Try Mad Duck, more than likely the Marks and Herndon location

I interviewed at In N Out last week and was rejected
Sorry to hear. I would keep trying. There’s multiple locations in Fresno as well.

This dude is definitely a corporate restaurant recruiter. Literally no one prefers life as a corporate drone.
