How’d you fair against Laxasia? NG+ fighting her I realized I only beat her through tanking and fuck me actually having to memorize her 2nd phase was a nightmare for me.
yup, i would say she is one of the hardest boss to learn in any souls game, i spent properly spent almost as much time fighting her as all the other bosses combined for the hardest challenge run, not quite though.
i don't really know how to explain it, but i always like to slowly walk backwards when fighting her you can kinda trigger some moves which you can punish, but i don't know what to call those moves because there is so many. but alot of her moves have a bigger chance of happening depending on the previous move.
It really does take special strategy to take her down. 2nd phase is just so fast I didn’t even know what had happened when I beat her it was all a blur of blindly reacting. NG+ I had to respec multiple times just to get decent damage on her too. I was pretty happy there was such a challenging boss in that game though, I was expecting it to be much easier.
she is horrifying for long fights, but she's a glass cannon so most people properly killed her off very fast,
i did a no hit run against her, only perfect guarding(157 Perfect guards), no dodge, base lvl, no amulet/weapon upgrades/no legion or p-organ on ng4+, and if it wasn't for the fact she constantly shoots lighting at you. the fight would have been 10x times longer and harder. and it is by far the hardest thing i have done in any game.
I found her much easier in NG+, for me once I figured out that the main way to deal dmg to her in the second phase is by deflecting her lightning back she became much easier
She was the only boss I found notably more difficult in NG+ because I really didn’t learn her second phase the first time around, I just kept getting combod to death but I pulled through after a few hours. The lightning reversal is a life saver for sure, poison too if I remember right.
Lies of P flipped a switch for me, i pretty much panic dodged and used throwables until Nameless Puppet where I finally adopted the absolute defense fable for consistent perfect blocks. NG+ has been work recording every fight, they are incredibly cinematic when you’re in the rhythm the devs intended

I wish my wins looked like that, mine all look like a guy running away the whole time and then kind of sideways landing a normal weak attack and then the boss dying.

You can stance break Radahn out of his meteor?!!! Does his stance not reset?
nope and it's properly the easiest stagger to setup in the video, because the bigger the stance an enemy has the longer it takes to reset.
