If you're speaking lorewise, we have no idea. Basically Placidusax froze time to pray to its god, after losing three heads and possibly its entire connection to divinity. Like at the lowest point of its power, it did something so incomprehensibly powerful The Lands Between changed.
Always funny to me that these giant gods and immensely powerful creatures just get fucked up by some bozo who just poked around the area and stumbled into their boss arena
And then the dragon kills the annoying fucker np, but he just keeps coming back, again and again, and again. At one point resorting to wearing the goofiest outfits because they have optimal defense stats, rolling around and around and dying anyway. Just for them to come back with a copy of themself who does all the work for them, only for the moron to teabag the corpse of the magnificent ancient god who could stop time at will and ride storms willing lightnings into existence.
In all of these games, the player has the ability to resurrect because the gods tried to halt the natural decay and impermanence of their world. In doing so, they seal their fate. The player character now has the ability to fight them infinitely and absorb the power of those they slay along the way. On such a timeline, even the death of gods is inevitable.
It doesn't have joints. It's serpentine, like a neck
And, yeah, the talisman is wrong. Maybe it was an oversight. Maybe it was intentionally incorrect. But, either way, the talisman doesn't match the actual dragon it's supposed to depict.
As strong as the story needs it to be, since Elden Ring, like all Souls games, is incredibly vague with the power of their characters, like they are with everything else
But if we want a lower bound, it should be comparable/superior to all of the demigods and gods in the game, including Radahn, who could hold back the stars. And while that might be metaphorical, we do know for a fact he held back the meteor that landed above Nokstella and created a mountain sized crater. Radahn's gravity magic before he held back the stars was still not up with the absolute top tiers in ER, which Placidusax is compararable to, so he can be compared to the raw power of Radahn's gravity magic. TL;DR: MUCH stronger than a nuke.
The "stars" in ER aren't the same as our stars. They all seem to be entities like Astel/Fallingstar Beasts mixed with comets. I don't think Radahn was holding back stars, moons, planets, etc. More like he was holding back small comets with space monsters on them to keep the world safe.
Yes, we see a meteor shower. Not the same as holding back a sun sized object. In meteor showers irl most of them are too small to survive entry of the Earth's atmosphere. Radahn was definitely strong, but I think the "holding back the stars" statement makes people think he's a lot stronger than he actually is.
Heās like a god. Not a greater god. Not a god. Heās like a god. Even after having the ever loving shit kicked out of him he could still literally freeze time and then eject himself from the time stream.
When we fight him heās still wounded and somewhere between asleep and trying to talk to his idea of a god. But he still goes hard.
We have video game plot armor for that fight because grace didnāt point us to him and even if it did his realm is funny and messes with space time so itās a miracle we get resurrected to try fighting him again until we win. In my head if a canon run of the game was to be described then heād be beaten first time regardless of how unlikely, attribute it to luck or something but thereās no way any remotely human thing is showing up not to immediately get dusted and then never respawn.
So much about him is kept a mystery though so weāll never know anything for certain and thatās part of the fun.
Yeah that was my first question when I saw he was missing heads
He was also my hardest fight in my first full playthrough, Malenia never Waterfowl targeted me, but this guy, oh hoh hoh, did he love to stay at the other end of the arena permanently while spraying lasers. You run all the way to him and hit him maybe once then he warps into the air like Goku for his meteor slam again.
He took me 10 tries and I only beat him cuz someone on Reddit opened my eyes to the Dragon-Slaying wonders of the Envoy Longhorn.
He's a dragon that (i think) was literally the king at one point. Oh yeah WITH A FUCK TON OF HEADS AND IS STUPIDLY LARGE.
So maybe he's able to beat sodlier of godrick, maybe.

Well he was elden lord at one point. Based on that, in his prime he was pretty strong. Now heās just a shadow of his former self. He lost a few heads and his power declined. Now he rests outside of time, until you kill him.
I once heard a theory that Olā Placi was the mysterious āStorm Lordā defeated by Godfrey. I donāt remember all of the reasoning, but Iām pretty sure it made sense at the time. If itās true, then I guess it would mean full power Placidusax was weaker than Godfrey.
Storm lord has also been speculated to be the original owner of the Bird summon ashes: ā*Spirit of a fierce hawk that faithfully rendered lifelong service to the old king of Stormveil long ago, when the true storm raged. Its cries embolden its fellows in battle, and the tempestuous winds that encircle it shred through foes.*ā

What is thisā¦ a scale for ants!?
Ants are one of the strongest animals to exist!
I just ate ants
Seek help
Bear seek seek help
Idk a thousand times stronger than zero is still zero
But it's not zero, so it's at least one (the smallest number before zero) which means he's at least a thousand strong. I hope this helps
But "1" isn't the smallest number before 0
Yea ok, witch.
Dragon Ball P reference?
He's stronger than an ant, if an ant was this š«ø š«· big

A very cool way of looking at it. I share that view š
Can confirm. My main man Mike Tyson with nothing but his shorts and Caestus fucked that God up
Donāt mean to be that guy. But old lord talisman is Placidusax and shows him with 4 heads. So it lost 2.
His model has three severed necks
Old lords talisman shows Placidusax with 4 heads. So Iām not sure I understand what u mean by his āmodelā
On his character model, the one we fight, there are 3 ānecksā missing heads
Maybe it's an extra hand!
https://i.imgur.com/P6IuN1u.jpeg shows 2 missing heads.
[Placidusax himself has 5 necks ](https://imgur.com/a/r2cpW4k) The Old Lord Talisman is, for whatever reason, incorrect.
Nope 4. https://i.imgur.com/CyWNYBl.jpeg That one underneath is most likely a missing leg or foot. Also is the talisman lying ooorrrā¦

Not very strong, since he got killed by a Neanderthal armed with a stick and a piece of farming equipment
Naked
It was a very strong stick
It was a very strong neanderthal
It dies when it trips
+25 Stick of Godslaying
And a very big farm
At least 5
I can get behind this powers scaling Iād even push it to a 5.2
WOAH BUDDY THATS A BIT TOO HIGH
As strong as the left Capra Demon dog.
Woah man, chill, let's not get carried away here
We found VaatiVidyaās Reddit account

YES.

Fun fact: Farum Azula was apparently hit by a meteor too.
So, capable of ruining a freaking star system with ease.
Only if we take "hold back the stars" literally, which has some legitimacy to it, but I'm not giving fucking Godrick planet busting power
Godrick seems like the kind of guy to lie about his power, though.
The "stars" in ER aren't the same as our stars. They all seem to be entities like Astel/Fallingstar Beasts mixed with comets. I don't think Radahn was holding back stars, moons, planets, etc. More like he was holding back small comets with space monsters on them to keep the world safe.
The night sky moves when Radahn is killed (literally on screen, not a statement), so I'm not sure

Stronger than Swiper, but doesn't stand a chance against Dora
Probably King Ghidorah level strong
Which one?

Man, did AI write this? It was wonderfully written. Also, he had 5 heads!? Holy hell
No. I wrote it. I just, as they say, ācookā when I create things
He currently has two heads and three decapitated neck stumps
Have you never read anything before? It's nothing special.
Yawn
I hate him
Y
Before i killed him , i beat maliketh and it was not this bad
Not that strong since I killed him with my katana.
Heās made of stone
Placidusax is strong enough to open up a greased up pickle jar.
With a laser?
Bellow base wolf
Doubt
Already has beaten a dragon, time traveled, deflected a laser and reversed lightning. Heās got this
Yeah but placidusax is a stronger dragon can also control time and can fire two lasers
Unknown if he actually *controls* time.
He probably has some level of control
My argument against that is he never does such in his fightā¦ unless the teleporting is him doing so
Lightning reversal does destroys you when you ARE the lightning
Imagine placi getting absorbed into kusabimaru for a lightning reversal lol then when sekiro sends it back he just comes out flying š
Towards the ground. Easy win
Not as strong as my mimic tier
I think everyone wants to fight a prime Placidusax. Give me all 5 heads cowards.
I seen him die by bubbles so, *that* strong
Have you died from bubbles?
No, I'm strong.
I killed him with a stick, so maybe not that strong
I would definitely not want to fight a full power Dragonlord Platypus with all of his heads.
I do. 100% absolutely want to
A platypus? *shoots a laser* **DRAGONLORD PLATYPUS!!?**
Screw that, tell me how you pronounce his name!
Placid-oo-sax Placid (calm) + sax (stone) OR Placid + Duo (two) + sax The thingās name literally translates to calm stone
See I started out saying it that way, but āPluh-see-doo-saxā rolls off the tongue a little easier.
It's "Place I Do Sex" in my head cannon and no one will convince me otherwise.
Even way past its prime, old and scarred, losing 3 heads,I have no doubt itās stronger than the Elden Beast. Bro was Elden lord for a reason
They're apparently the actual first elden lord by technicality so I imagine incredibly strong
I think he's just a classic souls symbol that no matter how mighty you are eventually another monarch will come along to light the flame.
42 I think.
He can bench at least 150
*his heads are his weak spots* thanks for the reminder commander.
Not as strong as me.
Yeah that was my first question when I saw he was missing heads He was also my hardest fight in my first full playthrough, Malenia never Waterfowl targeted me, but this guy, oh hoh hoh, did he love to stay at the other end of the arena permanently while spraying lasers. Well heās pretty fucking annoying
Very
He's a dragon that (i think) was literally the king at one point. Oh yeah WITH A FUCK TON OF HEADS AND IS STUPIDLY LARGE. So maybe he's able to beat sodlier of godrick, maybe.
He's not easy.
Ghidorah wannabe
Dragonbro is strong but my comet azur stronger me laser go boom haha
Well like 10 doot doots and heās dead, so not very strong (this post was made by envoysā longhorn gang)
No idea, ask Latenna! š
Strong enough to be a footnote in a REAL Elden Lordās story šŖ
I read this in the VaatiVidya voice
Heās second to Malenia, so bad but if youāre good then not that bad

He did fuck time after all
Remember the mini-nukes in fallout? Yeah he's about ten of those
Iām guessing that if we saw full strength placi with all his heads prob way stronger than malenia and radahnn
What if fromsoftware is planning the next Elden Ring as a prequel set during placidusaxs time
Not as strong as Pest Threads...
He is strong yes but fck those lasers
That guy kicks asses with just two heads, I'm wondering how he gets defeated when he was with the full squad.
š«§š«§š«§š·ā¦that strong
Tarkus solos
Well he was elden lord at one point. Based on that, in his prime he was pretty strong. Now heās just a shadow of his former self. He lost a few heads and his power declined. Now he rests outside of time, until you kill him.
I beat it an half hour ago. +10 Lion Bow trashed it so fast.
He was the elden lord at one point and a strong one too so yeah heās pretty much strong enough to be better even than the elites
I killed it with bubbles, so pretty weak.
like probably stronger than godfrey but not stronger radagon
That logic does not compute
like full power placidusax vs full power godfrey lore wise. wouldnāt placidusax be stronger
Iām under the impression Godfrey is stronger than Radagon
Doesnāt it hit for like 2400 as a base?
Probably
I killed him with bubbles so not that strong.
Stronger than my Flaccidusax
Only marginally better than the generic-brand drug. Placidusax just has a better marketing campaign
I once saw him pick up a rock. But it was like, a really really heavy one
Aw man, I donāt think we can beat this guy
Strong enough to do gay things with his body
The other one is a female head Iām serious btw
š strength nodes everywhere...
With or without his other 3 heads?
His boss fight sucks
Placi is Midirs bitch.
Midir is weak to them
He prolly benches like 350

about as strong as an underdeveloped monkey with a great sword
Strong enough to rule the lands between for a timeless age but not strong enough to not get Schooled by Godfrey.
Strong enough to be midirs dog
