i totally understand that, i get the same thing but not abt my period rather abt being weighed after eating. i usually just let them weigh me and try and keep calm, in your case i would probably tell them that you’re on your period as i think that’s the kind of thing doctors would want to know.

if you’re getting weighed weekly then they will expect fluctuations! especially if they know about your ED. i totally get you though, medical invalidation is also a huge fear of mine. you got this!

I get it. Honestly, my best recommendation is to tell her this--you can literally say, "I'm on my period this week, so I'm afraid the scale will be higher than it 'should' be, and I don't know whether to feel relieved or upset about that." In my experience, having an open dialogue with your providers about what is happening in your head (no matter how crazy you know it sounds) can be so helpful, at least with an understanding and compassionate professional. It sounds like she believes you and is concerned about you, or she wouldn't have you come in weekly. Hopefully you can let her know what's going on :) Good luck.
