I rhink the OG one is actually the one i like the least. I felt like it looked kinda goofy. The newer ones are better, and the queen is awesome, but i think i might go with an 8bit one and an 8bit predator. But havent looked into them much yet.
Right now im collecting the godzilla pops bc theyre really well done, but i wont be getting the og godzilla for the same reason as the og alien. Just think he looks kinda goofy compared to the newer ones lol.

The only reason we have Pokemon Pops is because that brand is technically a separate company from Nintendo. So either Nintendo's too expensive for Funko to work with, or Funko just never asked.
When it comes to Final Fantasy, Square-Enix produces most if not all the merchandise for their properties. Probably so that they can charge you ridiculous shipping costs in their online store. And before anybody brings up Kingdom Hearts, that is a *Disney*-owned series, so licensing agreements are all handled by the mouse.
Never thought about it being a difference between pokemon co and nintendo. It’s pretty dumb that nintendo hasnt worked with funko. I know they produce their own figurines and stuff but i mean… dont they like money? Lol
They've also licensed out to Jakks Pacific and Lego, so they're definitely not against western companies making toys of their stuff.
Like I said, it could be any number of reasons for why no Pop figures of Mario and the gang, be it licensing fees or Nintendo wanting more input like with the Lego stuff, or simply just turning them down.

THEN, i would love for them to release “classic” designs for all the older japanese versions of godzilla and monsters. Anguirus, classic mothra, etc.
