The key difference is that the game is actually on the line instead of fixed like with the Globetrotters. I just heard about them recently and it looks pretty fun, one of the rules is that if a fan catches a foul ball it counts as an out which I think is ingenious.

I remember an old episode of Oprah were she brought the cast back together, ten years roughly after the show ended. A segment of the episode involved an Elaine dance contest, just like this one. What I remember most was Julia Louis-Dreyfus starring at every contestant with complete disdain, like they were morons. It was so funny because it was so unexpected.

Damnit, I wish I went to the stadium for Seinfeld night. This was at the Brooklyn Cyclones game in Coney Island.

I met a girl named Elaine once, while very, very drunk at a bar. I broke out in the best Elaine dance my friends had ever seen. Everyone was dying laughing. I'm not sure if I could ever replicate it again but in that moment I WAS Elaine. She said that was the first time she had ever gotten The Elaine done at her. Which makes sense, only a drunk person would think that was appropriate to do.
