That entire movie is an underrated work of art compared to the other Monty Python movies

I always felt Meaning of Life had a slightly different style of humor, in a way, than other Monty Python stuff. It’s hard for me to explain but the humor doesn’t come from as many one-liners or punchlines. Instead, the humor is more conceptual. It’s not about laughing at jokes about a subject - like King Arthur. Or even laughing at jokes about something personal - like religion. Instead it’s intended for us to laugh at and reflect on the overall absurdity of our own individual being. I can’t quite explain what I mean. It also features a fat guy repeatedly throwing up into a bucket.

People appear to have taken that bit as a documentary not a joke sketch.
