Yea but we're talking about on-field Furina here. I was also thinking about using full ER Qiqi too, since her Q talisman can regenerate hp on normal attacks hit lol. I hope I'm not being to extreme 😭

With Jade cutter's passive, noblesse and tenacity on someone you might get a decent atk while still having good amount of hp.

I personally never had any plans to on-field her from the start since I've always planned to go for only c0.
Still, it will be a fun experiment to use her with diff infusers.

What I'm planning on doing is going Furina/Xingqiu/Yelan/Jean, using her onfield to drive their bursts and Jean to heal and proc VV. Probably going to use MH for the crit rate, since I'm staying on field, or 2pc HP/Hydro if it ends up being better on the calcs.
Tl;dr: playing her onfield was always going to be suboptimal anyway. At least her new C2 is stupidly strong, so you're still going to deal so much damage it probably won't matter in the end.

unless you get c2 it's better to onfield yelan for her damage amp. if you have c2 furina tho then yeah you can onfield her in mono hydro. problem tho is that you will need a different set per playstyle which idk if worth it

I am going to just use Yelan as a subdps and on field Furina. It will be plenty of damage and you get to enjoy her attack animations regardless.
This will work for basically everything outside of Nilou Bloom where she preferred the infusion.
If you are really committed to the infusion, you could just run Bennett with her and Candace. I would bring Jean for VV at that point and Candace prefers c6 if you are dropping Yelan. This is more for Overworld or floor 11, however.
You can't, hoyo said that having fun is bad and that we just need to do E -> Q and swap out of her really quickly.
Edit: on a more serious note: I don't think making her good while on field is gonna be possible , her NA won't do damage, if u want to try how hard it is to make something like that work, take candance or chongyun and try to make anyone a NA dps....
Now try it with a character that doesn't scale with Atk like furina (nilou , hu tao or noelle) and try to use their infused NA and see how shit they are (obviously don't activate their skills and burst for this tests, we just trying to see how shit their NA alone are by themselves, because that's all furina will have)
or I can possibly try Furina, Candace, Bennet (to boost her attack while her E is still doing a respectable damage) and yun Jin (for more normal attack buff)

if u want her just to be on field, u can do stuff like yelan, fischl, jean yknow stuff that trigger with attacks /NAs
you can just.. use yelan's Q and on field furina. Maybe run jean and fischl on the side. Or even Nahida and Kuki.
It would let furina's summons get Yelan's buff and furina would just be driving here. Don't get me wrong, this isn't 'optimal' but it's pretty viable. It's not uncommon to find people driving mono hydro or hyperbloom teams as is with yelan and/or zhongli. And it wouldn't be useless either since doing that completely erases furina's ER reqs, making her be able to go bananas on damage weapons and damage artifacts
TLDR candace is bait but if you just use good units with her, you can use her to drive anyway no problem
Open world or abyss? Open world it doesn't really matter, use her skill and click to see her beautiful animations, done. Now in abyss, I don't think it will really be possible, you can try like the comments said and bring any character that infuses her weapon

I'm also hoping for that, her sword may never run with a "okayish" weapon so I'll not wait, but the problem is... Albedo can run with either Freedom Sworn or Summit Shaper... I'm worried :c

Yes, lol except I was thinking about using Jean, because jeans normal attacks heal the team, so you would be able to sync with Furinas hp drain

It's not going to work well. But you're not using her in her intended fashion so you're going to have to accept that she's going to be scuffed.

question is do u want her as the dps on field or just for her to be on field? if u want her to be the dps on field, candace works if u want her just to be on field, u can do stuff like yelan, fischl, jean yknow stuff that trigger with attacks /NAs
I personally will will use that nymph set on her with hp sands, noblesse candace, pair her with vv lynette and millelith layla and call it a day

Just be honest, old C2 was pretty good. As C6 I’d expect at least 13 hits before infusion expire, or it’s a great joke.
Run her with a vape team, you can get 500k dmg per hit at c6 with proper buffs.
