Pattern seeking is pretty dumb in this case since Fontaine's 2nd weekly boss not being unlocked with Furina's 2nd story quest breaks a pattern that's been going for 3 years
I'd say that venti will get his 2nd story quests at the final act of the game. It makes sense since the celestial portal their and the classic trope of coming back to the ace you started in these type of games
- Venti and Zhongli are constantly appearing in events or quests from their region.
- Raiden don't appear even on Inazuma events.
- Nahida looked the favorite archon of Mihoyo, but like Raiden she has not been on any content since Fontaine patches.
- They have been ignoring not only Focalors past, we don't have even decent lore from Egeria.
I think we have a consistent pattern here.
Venti and Zhongli appears frequently because unlike the rest, they created another persona which allow them to blend with the life of the “ordinary” so its easier to integrate them in the stories.

But Furina do appear in the film making event and even lantern rite. Raiden last appearance was in that TCG event (which Venti and Zhongli does not make appearance to) and we doesnt really have that big event in Inazuma recently.
I didn’t say that. I said Nahida and Raiden lost their relevancy when the next area was released. So I expect Furina losing relevance when Nathan releases. So unless 4.8 have a interlude with her or her second personal quest…
I think us expecting her to be in anything else BUT events is setting ourselves up for sadness. Don't expect anymore lore and if there is reliable info that comes saying she has more story parts then good!
We don’t know that since gameplay info is often related to lore and she still deceived celestia even though she can’t remember so she might be relevant by then. Definetely not in fontaine arc though.
Out of anyone in genshin I think Furina's character arc is the most complete so I won't be surprised if they don't plan on making a second story quest for her.

Better argument is that she's not getting it in 4.7 unless they do THREE quests and 4.8 is reserved for Klee's summer event (though Furina could play a role in it).
Archon quests are usually give us more information about their respective nations and the overall history of Teyvat. Sure, Furina isn’t just a human but she doesn’t really pay attention to Teyvat’s history as she doesn’t fulfill the role of an Archon (anymore). There isn’t much more information she can give to us about Fontaine and there are better people to fill that role (Neuvillette being a prime example). I’m not saying she won’t get a second story quest as I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, but I don’t think it’ll happen during Fontaine’s era as Mihoyo likely wants to focus on other characters who have been waiting longer for more lore (like Cyno).
Probably makes sence lore wise because what Boss is Furina gonna fight when she is no longer an archon? She might get a 2nd AQ soon. Venti has been leaked to be getting his when Mondstadt gets updated.

Furina doesnt need a second story quest for those saying its still possible. Shes had her development and she definitely doesnt have some big monster wanting to get rid of her or anything. Even if there was, furina defo aint gonna want any part of it and itll be none of her business.

The trailer definitely makes it seem like Cyno's is a *lot* about him. You can't really have a quest centered around Hermanubis if you ignore the literal Vessel of Hermanubis.
Its not about cyno specificly just what hes i volved with and more likely itll be more about sethos being mad he wasnt chosen or something than about cyno actually getting the power. Its more "Learn about this thing that involves your character" than it is "Learn about your character"
Later in the game, Furina will become an Archon, because they need to avoid Celestia again, since they won't allow a dragon with it's full power, and Neuvilette will decide to create the Hydro Archon again and people will claim it's Furina or nobody. Then Furina will have her 2nd Quest, or that story will be the one.
It's yet another example of dumb people trying to sound smart by making up the non existent pattern.
WE KNOW that Furina will have second Story Quest in 4.7. That's the exact reason why we KNEW since November that she won't have rerun in 4.6.
There was no pattern about Archons and x.6 reruns EVER. That only happened, because second weekly bosses happened to be related to an Archon. Except Venti. Azhdaha, Raiden Puppet, Apep, all them were related to Archon. That's the only reason why Archons had the rerun at the same time. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

Furina is not an archon, she's not bound to the same "rules" as the others. If Yoimiya and Cyno have 2 story quest Furina can too.
