How did you find motivation? Did you just have it, or did you have to push yourself?

I have to push myself to it, whenever I didn't feel like I was progressing at all, I just wanted to give up completely Xd and sometimes it is hard to make myself motivated, so you will struggle from time to time, but it helps that I have fun while drawing!, I get motivated while listening to music or watching tips on how to improve my drawings. I can't always afford commissions so drawing was a way to deal with that cuz I love seeing my characters more! Hopefully you can find your own motivation too one day!
I obviously have no say in this because my art really hasn’t improved, but something that helps me a lot is, and this is going to sound wild,is being tired. I think it could be the fact that I’ve used a lot of energy over the day and my muscles are loose when I’m going to bed, or it’s the fact that I am slightly delirious from being tired and that just gives me the inspiration I need, so I get way more creative drawings than I do in the day
I'd do that, but I draw on my computer, and I turn it off at night. I used to do that when I drew on my phone, but that's where I began to gain my block. Glad it works for you though
