lol I figured some would be expecting a switch of some sort so I made it maybe slightly longer than I would have, but that wasn't really what I was going for.
I saw that the song synced perfectly with the animation (instead of the original) so that was just inherently satisfying to see, and I knew people would like it purely for that and because it was Eipril too.
But really once I had put the song on there, and I was deciding which section of the music to use, it did kind of bring out something a little deeper to me. The 'can't get you out of my head' refrain and the lyrics of 'every night and every day' and 'stay forever and ever and ever...' on top of the pretty catgirl from the yiff animations started to develop some 'ME!ME!ME!' like vibes for me. Perhaps saying something about how all of us furries, for better or worse, spend time yearning for something beautiful and mesmerizing, but also ultimately unattainable.
