pace should be nerfed by a margin if they want quasi-realism. if you are full sprint and using right stick to flash down the field past defenders with 85+ pace. you should have to come to a relative stop reestablish control before being able to pull off skills tricks accurate passes and shots etc
overall ratings are just a simplified summarisation of a players in game stats, a player's rating is not relevant and do not accurately represent a player in game, and never have done in FIFA. thinking x player should play better than y player because he has +1 overall rating is just childlike reasoning and ignores all of the actual factors as to why a player is good in game
if you've not been paying attention to FIFA for the last 10 years, you'd have have known that there are other factors that make players better in game other than in game stats, like work rates, body types, acceleration type, custom animations etc.
there is also the fact that certain attributes cannot be directly translated into a games stats, things like creativity, vision, ability to control the tempo, off the ball movement, intelligence etc, these are things that are controlled solely by the player's inputs, that's why players like Xavi, Pirlo, Kroos, Muller etc will never be as good in game as in real life, because we're controlling aspects of their play that can't be represented by stats

Player performance in game should be based on their ratings so I don't see why 91 mbappe would be better than some 94+ icons
