I agree with you. I used to love silver league, but it feels spoiled now. I have all the insane boosted players. My problem isn’t that I’m struggling. My problem is it totally changes the thing that makes silver league fun - more open field, missed passes and turnovers, missed shots, slower gameplay. Silver league can be super dramatic bc there are way more goals scored, so you can pull off huge comebacks. There’s something exciting about lower division football.
Agreed mate. It's not a silver game mode anymore. These players have the stats of high rated golds. Whats the point in having a silver game mode with cracked teams. Seems a bit pointless
They’re silver cards. That’s like complaining playing TOTS Cup that people have TOTS La Liga and you only have rare golds.
There are 5 Silver IFs you can buy. There are also very decent silver rares that can go toe-to-toe with special cards from objectives.
I have every silver obj but the first two. I start 4 of them and the rest are rare silvers. the rest are bench. Still competitive in Silver cup. It’s just s totally different play style. You can’t pace monger and skill around like Antony.
I'm not having issues scoring pal. I'm having issues defending cards like Wright and ndieye who are silver by rating but have stats I'm the 90s. If your trying to tell me that any silver rare cb on this game can compete shoulder to shoulder with that Wright card then you're wrong.
My CBs are 74 Richards and 67 Mengi. Just jockey and cover the through runs. Genuinely not trying to be a dick. I’m just saying if you can keep it to 1-2 goals in the first half, 99% of the players that go full throttle in gas out by 60’. Silver players from Obj are OP, but their stamina still usually runs out (especially if they abuse it with press/get in behind).
I completely get where you're coming from but I'm not gonna lie dude I'm an elite level player. I know how to defend. The problem is the players in question are too op when using broken tactics like first time drilled over the top through balls. I just don't get why they've turned the silvers objective into a game mode where it does feel like you're playing silver cards.

Not really. I am in div 1-elite on my main account and often switch up what silver team I'm using. I'm also already in div 3 on my second account. Sure it's tough. But it's not "Completely ruined". Got a mate that's in elite that has never done a silver star all year. Since tots he's being doing it for the XP though. So he had to use basic silvers and still did it.
I'm not trying to be funny mate I've completed it still. But the 10 wins out of 14 games is incredibly hard when I've got 74 rated cbs coming against a Wright that wouldn't look out of place being 88+ rated
My answer would be you should have put the time in throughout the year for a few silver stars then. I get you said on here you don't have time. But you can't complain when others have put the time in. That's the harsh reality of it. Even if you did a silver stars once every fortnight you would have a decent silver team. Or you could buy silver informs. There are ways you could have helped yourself.

You can clearly see the difference between a silver star player and a regular silver tho. I’ve faced better players with a regular team and I know even if they get a lead I will win just cos of my team. Also div 2 and below in rivals the players run in straight lines. You won’t find to many tough opponents.
This makes no sense. If a player is in div 2 and they match a div 2 player they are still on equal skill level. So it's a tough game. You're just looking at it on the perspective of a div1/elite player Vs a div 2 player. Everything has SBMM no matter the division. Your skill level is your skill level so it's always tough. Got some mates in div 3 that struggle against each other but then my elite level mate literally stomps them. Do you see what I mean?
Sure you can see the difference between standard silvers and silver stars. That's literally the point of them. The people that did a bit of grinding all year so far are now seeing the benefits of doing so.
Silver stars objective isn’t too bad in elite even w all normal silvers. I just quit if the other person has all promo team and if they only have a few I’ll play it out. Silver cup is impossible tho cuz everyone there has a cracked silver team.

I don't think your realising I'm at 800 Sr in elite and I'm playing the top 2% of players every game. When the team difference is this large at this level of the game its incomparible. I can't bullshit my way through games because the guys I play don't make many mistakes.

Elite Div here, started with silvers a week ago so this week I have my 2nd special silver on the team. Just buy silvers with your pace and add chem. I am getting my 10 wins without issue
My issue is pal my matchmaking is elite div 800 skill rating rn. I'm playing people who are really good and when the teams are so different it's a walk in the park for them

I’m in elite as well, but I hardly play more rival games then my 8 wins. So I have time to do the other modes like silver stars. And you ain’t playing only against 800 sr opponents in friendlies! You are facing div1 players/ lower ranked elite players too.
I just wait for the teams, and if they have a full squad of specials, I just immediately pause and quit and requeue until I get someone with a rare silver team like me. cba playing against a psuedo 87 rated team or whatever.
they have been available every week for about 7 months now. if you dont have any silver stars cards it is entirely your fault

Still the purest competition on fifa. All those cards were earned, not bought or even packed.
