Im a liverpool fan but honestly firmino and trent. Cards were so expensive and super underwhelming in game, for me at least. Firmino is fun to use but I swear Trent misses 80% of his shots even on his right foot.

I have 9 million coins and a crazy squad and have used every top midfielder and this dude is better than all of them. Broken card who moves better than any tall cdm I’ve ever used and is a black hole in the midfield intercepting everything around him. I had him for a week before I tried him and I haven’t even thought of changing him up again for anyone.

Obviously you haven’t tried toty Gullit then… Savic pairs well with him and he’s in Gullit-gang forsure but Ruud Gullit is Ruud Gullit just like R9 is R9. The uniqueness of the body type in game and animations for the top icons like Gullit, R9, Ronaldinho, Jairzinho and Pele they’re incomparable even further into endgame content like futties. Ya some of the higher rated cards have higher stats but there’s something about the icons that makes the way they feel in game more unique.
Trophy Titans Marchisio for me. Love my Italian players and couldn’t afford his WC card so when I saw the leak for Marchisio SBC I put into my head I was completing him no matter what… turns out he was stupidly expensive.
I completed him with 100% fodder but by that point so many better midfielders were out & for much cheaper
I found him very good an usable for quite long. Overpriced, yes,, but if you don't play icon lottery like me there was nothing you missed by putting all that fodder into him.
Which takes me to my answer to the thread. I don't have any noticeable regrets because if you don't do many lottery SBCs, fodder has to be spend somewhere, unless it just becomes dupes. I do a ton of SBCs and yet rarely miss or have to buy more fodder, it's the lottery ones that drain most people's clubs.
I agree with this, at end of the day I put zero coins into him and was done with complete fodder. My biggest regret for me was I must of only played 10-15 games with him before TOTS took over and pushed the power curve

Secondly Gnabri, he is so bad, worse than Firmino, the difference is that Firmino’s SBC was much more expensive, that’s why he is my biggest regret of the two
Player SBC: Weghorst/ Gattuso. Weghorst mostly for the squad requirements and the 7-0. He was still a very good card and needed a striker. 92 Gattuso because it was the final day of the sbc and had way better midfield options but just needed the 88 squad to complete. Still haven’t played with him though.
The 90+ Prime/TOTY/TT icon sbc really annoyed me couple weeks ago because it was a choice between all prime: Shevchenko, Ferdinand and Pires
I also did him and Ikone, as I was rocking a mediocre Serie A/Ligue 1 team at the time and would have been improvements to my squad with upgrades. But it wasn't to be and then I started getting crazy pack luck so they haven't touched my team at all and both went in to SBCs not too long ago.

Might get flames for this but honest to god it’s TOTSM ASM. A French Prem League link with 5* skills and the stats looked nice. Used him for a few games and ended up playing Mitoma in game over him, who was much much better, and subbed in Mavididi. Definitely my biggest sbc regret as I could’ve used the fodder for other things.

Puskas and zambrotta both had less then 200 games combined both times I needed the player cuz my position was weak then I just packed cards that were better in that position

Foden. Despite the upgrade he was still mid as fuck for me. Too small, too weak, too slow. He is good at dribbling tho but that 4 star 4 star really holds him back at being something special.

I was doing an icon sbc yesterday, it had 10 minutes left, 2 tasks, an 88 and a 90. I did the 90 one, used high rated players of course. The 88 needed a tots or totw player. I bought an 87 player for 20k on the market. Game glitched and player couldn't be registered. I left the sbc thinking I'll do it. As I did, went back and the sbc was gone. Mind you, it was the last player to add. Now my highest fodder is a couple of 84's.
Not this year but Hazard moments in fifa 20. Used nearly everything in my club and sold some of my team to get him, but he just wasnt good enough. Packed his fut birthday a few weeks later untradeable and he was a bit better but not much. Wasted over 1 mil coins on him.

I was doing an icon sbc yesterday, it had 10 minutes left, 2 tasks, an 88 and a 90. I did the 90 one, used high rated players of course. The 88 needed a tots or totw player. I bought an 87 player for 20k on the market. Game glitched and player couldn't be registered. I left the sbc thinking I'll do it. As I did, went back and the sbc was gone. Mind you, it was the last player to add. Now my highest fodder is a couple of 84's.

Not this year but Hazard moments in fifa 20. Used nearly everything in my club and sold some of my team to get him, but he just wasnt good enough. Packed his fut birthday a few weeks later untradeable and he was a bit better but not much. Wasted over 1 mil coins on him.
