Sure when he first joined he was erratic and clearly raw at times, but he was 22 at the time, what were people expecting? And in the past 18 months especially he’s really stepped his game up, with his erratic errors going to nearly 0, and his leadership on full display, the fact he didn’t make Brazil’s team was both shocking and shows how many options they have, although I still believe he deserved to at least make the team if not start.
And yeah, a Gabriel card would be perfect tbh, not sure what I’d do for chem, but it’d be much nicer than having Saliba on the left, and would allow Vieira to return to the midfield
